Time flew by and 50 days had passed when Shane decided that it was finally time for him to leave Masua.
He had rested for one week and used the remaining several weeks in order to practice his martial art techniques, adjust to them and increase the mana consumption.
Other than that, his research about the culprits of the RadiantRing shelter was faring better than expected.
From more than two dozen races that seemed to have worked together to obliterate every single shelter that did not belong to the Destar race's alliance, Shane was able to narrow down the list to just five races that might have played a role in the shelter's destruction.
It was already shocking to hear that over 20 races had combined their forces, only to pull the strings from the sidelines by controlling Overlord beast tides, but it was equally interesting because this should have had a proper reason.
Unfortunately, Shane had yet to find the reason.
It was only when his family announced that the surviving races, whose shelter overcame the Overlord beast tides, were to gather and figure out the truth that Shane assumed the real reason would be unveiled soon!
Even though nobody seemed to know the true worth of the radiant mountain ring dimension, there had to be something, and knowing this was enough for every race to become curious.
Furthermore, there were many races that wanted to take revenge.
As such, Shane estimated that another big alliance would be established inside the radiant mountain ring dimension.
He was not sure whether this would end up in an all-inclusive war, but Shane knew that he had to find the hostile foreign races' shelter surrounding the destroyed RadiantRing shelter first before war broke out with multiple races gathering at one place.
Otherwise, he would be unable to finish his mission after he had invested so much time on it!
As such, he decided that he would leave immediately after Umbra and Cosmo's quality had been increased once again.
The quality enhancements were interesting because both of his tamed beasts' next evolution path had been revealed while a notification had informed Shane about the inability to increase Umbra's quality further, otherwise, certain issues would occur.
If he were to increase it to [Extraordinary] now that it had reached [Rare], Umbra would be unable to remain inside the Basic-Dimension.
This notification was interesting, and Shane accepted this without issue, while Umbra, whose length had increased to 130 meters, was unwilling to accept the fact.
Yet, after Shane explained to Umbra that his strength had increased and was comparable to a human expert with a mana purity of 85% even without adding the [Limit breaker] title and his Innate Taming Skill's [quality enhancement], the snake was astonished.
As such, Shane was not sure how strong Umbra was, but he could tell that even Aisha might have problems fighting against his friend without anyone's help.
This was great, but even more interesting was the fact that Umbra's third [Extraordinary] evolution path was that of a [Black scaled Flood Dragon]!
Shane had been exhilarated when he had seen this but what he found equally interesting was Cosmo's third and last evolution path.
His quality had reached [Extraordinary] and the [Legendary] evolution path that had been unlocked after the quality upgrade was that of the Cosmic fox.
Never having heard of this beast, Shane wanted to research extensively but he was shocked to figure out that there was no news about it at all!
Not even news that was several thousand years old!
Cosmo, whose strength had reached the 6th Awakened stage, didn't seem to be bothered due to it and Shane was only happy to have two loyal tamed beasts.
He couldn't even think of taming a third beast for now because he had to nurture both his tamed beasts while looking after the Astral Starlight faction and his own mission before anything else.
Shane left Masua as soon as his tamed beasts had finished their quality enhancement as he emerged inside the RadiantRing shelter, or what was left of it.
The entire shelter had been demolished and the only thing that was left were huge bulks of construction materials and equipment, the Astral Artisans, and a large number of guards protecting the Dimension Portal.
When Shane had appeared out of the Dimension Portal, he'd attracted the attention of others, and Talia who was leading the shelter reconstruction approached him.
"Hello Shane, do you want to take a look at the progress? Sorry to say this, but what you see right now is all we have managed to construct so far...Well...we have some Greater Astral towers and large-scale weapons inside the Hidden Paradise, but that's all for now."

He nodded his head before he began to ponder and asked,
"The entire shelter will take more than six months to be constructed, right?"
Talia was not sure how exactly Shane had arrived at this conclusion because there was nothing according to her that could have led him to that duration. Confused, she answered in an uncertain voice,
"To be honest, we are not sure. As long as we can build everything unhindered without beasts attacking us, it might take six months, but it's more likely to take longer!"
"Alright, please report to me if anything were to happen. I'll be inside the radiant mountain ring dimension, but quite far from the shelter."
This confused Talia, only to realize that Shane wanted to solve the mission he had been talking about all day!
As such, she nodded her head in response.
Shane had asked Talia about the rough time in which the shelter could be completed because there was something others were unaware of!
From what he had understood, the races whose shelters had survived the Overlord beast tides had already initiated a discussion and if everything worked out properly, they were to meet each other in around half a year.
This was to set up a proper plan to retaliate against the Destar race alliance that wanted to reign over the radiant mountain ring dimension.
Or at least it seemed so!
Shane and the others couldn't say that this was the case for sure, but other races felt otherwise.
Nevertheless, there might be a different reason, yet, instead of starting a needless discussion, their government remained silent.
Uncle Lars had told him that the strongest individuals belonging to the basic dimensions were to meet each other too, allowing them to understand their allied partners' strength.
To Shane, it was more like socializing, but that was also great.
He had wanted to figure out how strong he would be if he were to fight against others with a higher mana purity than his own.
Not only did his bloodlust-killing-intent enhance by a huge margin, but the same applied for the proficiency of his Slaughterer's Path and Light step technique!
Both his techniques had reached the profound mastery that was the second last proficiency before perfect and superior mastery!
This was only possible because the Light step movement technique was easier to learn than the Slaughterer's Path which Shane had been acquainted with for quite some time now!
However, other than his own strength, his tamed beasts were considered to be his entire combat prowess, yet, Shane couldn't help but feel that it might be better to hide them, even if it might not necessarily be for the better.
'I'll just wait and see what to do when the time comes!'
With these thoughts in his mind, Shane left the demolished RadiantRing shelter, before he summoned Umbra as he said,
"Take whatever direction you want...we will have to pass through each one either way!!"
