Shane knew that he was way too optimistic, but there was nothing he could do about it. He had never seen Aunt Kia so flustered before!
Thus, he comforted her with his words as much as possible.
After she had said everything necessary, Aunt Kia murmured, "Get well soon," before leaving Shane and his tamed beasts alone.
Taking a deep breath, he couldn't help but think that his family was both exaggerating certain aspects while underestimating other important facts.
Even if the Hidden Paradise would be large enough to Inhabitat every single human, the amount of mana he could produce even with an extremely strong mana heart awakening wouldn't be equal to Igra's, let alone that inside the Primordial dimensions.
There were many downsides that came with the act of solely living inside the Hidden Paradise with the biggest risk being that everyone had to heavily depend on Shane's survival for their own!
While it was manageable for a few million individuals, it was a different game altogether when the entire human race was added to the equation.
The probability of him pulling off this huge stunt successfully was bleak, at least, not with Shane's current strength, and capabilities.
He hadn't even created an ecosystem yet, and his strength or rather financial capabilities were not at par with what he required!
To put it simply, Shane was not confident in accepting the responsibility of harboring the human race's entire population.
This sounded not only ridiculous, but the amount of resources he needed to only enlarge his world to the required degree were extremely high, let alone the costs to sustain everything if he really were to give it a try.
Shaking his head, Shane couldn't help but think that Aunt Kia was thinking too highly of him.
Nevertheless, he didn't want to die either. As such, he couldn't just lie in bed and behave like he was half dead.
Shane knew that his body had healed more than enough to allow him to stand up and cultivate properly.
Umbra and Cosmo's memories were more than enough to tell him what had happened the moment he had lost consciousness.
At the same time, he could feel that every internal injury had already fully healed while only the external injuries, and his exhaustion made his mind believe that he was on the verge of dying!
However, before he would force himself to stand up and start cultivating for the next few months to reach the expected mana purity of [97%] there was something else he had to do!
There was a vine-like egg in his hand which Shane assumed to be the reward for achieving the second rank in the Primordial tournament.
Thus, he took a look at the bombardment of system notifications he had yet to read.
[Congratulation to the host for attaining second place in the last |Basic| Primordial tournament!
Random (Silver) reward can be claimed! [Claim]]
[Due to specific circumstances, [Random (Silver) reward] has been claimed!]
[<Customized bundle> has been rewarded!]
[Due to specific circumstances, <Customized bundle> has already been opened!]
[Congratulations, the host has found a |Myar, Mask of the Curse Susuroo|, |Egg of a lesser forest spirit|, and a |Note| inside the <Customized bundle>]
[|Egg of a lesser forest spirit| was forcefully released due to the need for mana, and other requirements.]
Reading through the notifications a few times, Shane just nodded his head, ignoring the pain before looking at the egg inside his hand.
"A lesser forest spirit is it? That's actually not bad to consider as a third tamed beast…" He had already thought of several kinds of beasts to tame to increase his combat prowess to the highest degree.
A forest spirit had a great amity with nature, which means that it was likely to have exceptional healing capabilities.
This was not everything, but one of the most important things Shane took into account right now.
Furthermore, the lesser forest spirit in front of him was still in its egg! As a matter of fact, this was the second-highest priority for Shane who had to tame a third beast.
It had to be recently born or still in its egg because the loyalty of a beast that regarded its master as family right off the bat was extremely high, and easy to increase.
Despite that, there were many things Shane had to take into account, and he began to wonder whether the forest spirit was truly what he wanted as his third tamed beast.
Umbra's offensive and defensive capabilities were almost at par with an Overlord beast, while Cosmo was proficient in observing the battlefield and utilizing its spatial affinity to change the tides of the battle.
As such, he was in need of an extremely fast beast, one that could heal and was something similar to the penta illusion monkey that was able to take control of the entire battlefield by utilizing its illusions.
However, in the end, Shane could only look at his current injuries with a dry smile as he mumbled,
"Is the system making fun of me?" This was most certainly not the case and just the system recognizing Shane's biggest mistake, which made it reward him with a suitable third tamed beast.
At that moment, Shane wondered what Megane had been rewarded if one of his rewards was receiving one of the most suitable beasts to tame!
Unfortunately, there was no way for him to figure out the truth. At least, not for now.

He would love to meet her again, but without all the killing intent or her being manipulated.
Somehow, Shane just wanted to figure out whether she was truly evil or just moulded into the being she was currently because that was how it felt like.
Being actively controlled by others was what Shane hated the most, and even those who pulled the strings from the shadows should fear him as he was not someone to simply forget about taking revenge!
With that thought in mind, he looked at his next reward which was a mask that had already been stored inside the [Ancient ring of the Susurro]
Taking out the mask, Shane couldn't help but feel a mysterious hue enveloping it.
However, just as he opened its status panel, Shane felt overwhelmed by the sheer mass of information and the first words that were thrown at him.
"Myar, Mask of the Cursed Susurro?! Another item from the Susurro's? Who the hell are they…?
