Shane was not sure how a soul world core could turn into the object that created the secret realm, or who Gaia was or what her powers had been that she had constructed the soul world core, but he felt that it was something extremely unique.

Whether it was possible to devour the secret realm with everything inside was also unknown, but Shane felt as if that was the case.

Unfortunately, trusting his gut feeling was not the best decision if the lives of several beings were to be on the line.

As such, he couldn't really help the treants for now.

However, it should be possible in the near future this should be possible, and Shane was sure of that.

Owing to that, he decided to test whether a being at the Master stage with liquefied mana could enter the secret realm before leaving.

The test was pretty easily done as he told one of his Astral artisans that hailed from the government to enter his soul world through the Space door and see if he could then reach the secret realm as his next destination and enter it.

To Shane's dismay, this didn't work, not owing to the liquefied mana, but because of the fact that the artisan didn't have permission to enter said place.

'That's good. If I can enter the secret realm alone, despite having liquefied mana drops in my mana core, I'm not really pressured by time.

I hope nothing will happen in the meantime!'

Shane's worries were not unfounded. The secret realm could disappear just like the Primordial dimensions, just like that, without any warning, leaving Shane alone.

The time when this would occur was also unknown to Shane and anyone else, but he predicted that the merged Soul-Onyx-Jungle had to disappear for the secret realm to vanish as well.

With that in mind, he had at least a rough idea of how much time he had as someone was always taking a look at the Primordial dimensions' situation, including the time that passed.

Mankind didn't have many shelters left, and it was important that each of them would remain under their control as long as the Primordial dimensions existed.

Otherwise, they might be unable to procure more resources, or even worse, it would only make it easy for other races to attack them owing to the system's punishment of losing all shelters.

As such, instead of abandoning all shelters, a few would remain protected by the military, even though everyone had much better things to do.

Shane was astonished that the government was still working, and it was probably only because mankind needed someone to rely on that this was the case.

It would have been much easier to procure materials, blueprints, and devices that are important to colonize other planets if his family would have been able to retain their seats in the government.

Unfortunately, they had been asked to step down from their positions and Shane was already glad that his family didn't start a civil war over this. If they would have done this, it would probably have already destroyed more than half of the human race!

This would have been devastating and against their morale and what they wanted to achieve with everything they were currently doing.

It was difficult, but Shane and his family wanted to do something good in order to save their race, not destroy it!

Shane explained the situation he had perceived inside the small cavern hall in a detailed manner to the old gigantic treant.

There was no need to hold anything back as it was important for the treants to know whether they could hope for his return or not.

In the end, Shane answered this question in a way that caused the old treant to feel a mixture of emotions.

"I will definitely return to you, but now is not the time for me to devour the silver soul world core. After I have solved my other tasks, I will return, and by that time, I will have found a way to take care of everything!"

How could Shane know that these words were the doom, and at the same time, the treant's salvation?

Some would die because of his decision, but some would be saved, rescued from the pandemonium that was about to happen.

Oblivious to everything, Shane stayed inside the secret realms until Viridy had fully matured, reaching the peak of the Elite stage.

His youngest soulbond was ready to evolve, and Shane was not a person who would prevent anyone from advancing.

Nevertheless, before evolving Viridy, he turned to the Space door, whose pair, or to be precise one of the pairs, was already placed outside the Neptua Ladra region.

Emerging from the Space door, Shane took a deep breath, only to notice that it was raining heavily.

Because of that, he couldn't help but look towards the vast ocean which allowed him to relax before a shocking thought emerged in his mind.

'If the Dark Ice elves were to destroy Igra, what would happen to Levi and Lili??'

Shane hadn't had the time to think about the two Leviathans yet.

Levi was a beast that could probably survive anywhere, even in space, but Lili, the youngling Leviathan would most certainly die with Igra's destruction.

This thought deeply disturbed him, momentarily diverting his attention from Viridy's evolution, straight to the Leviathans.

'Lili could enter my soul world if it's necessary, but Levi is just too large…and is my soul world even robust enough to withstand the natural pressure she releases?'

Shane didn't care about the other beasts that would die on Igra, and the only beasts he cared about were, in fact, the two Leviathans.

Despite being the strongest existence on Igra, she didn't enslave mankind, or even worse, kill everyone just because she could.

This was certainly possible, and Shane even assumed that Levi would be able to destroy planets if she wanted to.

Even if that was not proven Shane had the feeling that his assumption was correct.

Nevertheless, separating the youngling Leviathan from her mother was also an unpleasant thought.

'If my soul world enlarges proportionately with the increase in my strength, I guess the soul world will have expanded to more than 150 kilometers in diameter after I enter the Master rank!

That doesn't include the additional drops of mana I should be able to create, let alone the upgrade the soul world core should receive after I devour the silver soul word core….that is, if it's really possible…'

With a basic size of 150 kilometers in diameter, Shane was confident to inhabit more than 20 million humans, and if it was only required by humans to travel from one place to another with a short layover, the soul world could also be crammed full.

As such, 20 million inhabitants was more for a long-term population, while Shane was sure to be able to transport more than 100 million people at a time.

'The Space door to the planet we want to colonize should have been secretly established already...and I don't even know its exact coordinates.

Only father should know about the coordinates, while I and the Uniters know of its existence...As long as nobody with a malfunctioned system enters the planet we want to colonize, we wouldn't encounter a mole amongst us who would betray us and share our coordinates to the Dark Ice elves or so...I hope!'

With that thought in mind, Shane couldn't help but sigh.

Colonizing a new planet was not difficult per se, but doing everything secretly without letting others, be it humans or other races from finding out the planet they want to colonize, was a challenge.

In the end, Shane even assumed that his father had combed through several planets to colonize in order to be prepared for the worst-case scenario.

This was exactly the case, and John Stella had prepared a list of several smaller planets to move to if something were to go wrong.

However, how could anyone have expected that the imagined worst-case scenario was nothing but child's play in comparison to what was about to happen?

Being betrayed by one of their own was already shocking, but even then, this was only a slight sting in comparison to what Shane and his father would have to overcome in the near future!
