Shane was about to complain to Uncle Lars when he wished him good luck before he ended the call.
'YOU!!!' he wanted to punch his uncle, even though it wouldn't hurt him, as he glared at the young man next to him.
"You heard your Marshall, right??" Seeing the black-haired youth in front of him, the young man's eyes trembled in fear, as he involuntarily stepped back.
'Why did I have to meet such a big-shot on my first beast-tide as a troop-leader?! How can someone be as unlucky as I am?!'
However, even though he complained inwardly, he hesitantly answered
"Yes, I heard Marshall Kriez… " before he announced with a loud voice, supported with a little bit of mana
"The young man next to me will take over the whole unit. Everyone who disregards his order will have to face severe military punishment!"
While the young man next to him said so, Shane decided to walk forward, until he stood next to him, before he pushed his chest out
"Hello everyone, my name is Shane and I'm the person in charge now! If you guys follow my instructions almost everyone will survive, UNDERSTOOD?!?" He announced clearly with mana amplifying his voice.
The surrounding soldiers were still astonished and shooting around with their long-range weapons when they noticed a teenager in a very fine and elegant black robe standing next to their prior leader in charge.
But even from the first few words this black-haired teenager spoke, most soldiers immediately noticed that Shane was either a descendant from someone at the military, a noble, or something similar, because of the thick aura he radiated as if it was normal for him to lead others.
The other possibility was that Shane was acting as if he was a bigshot, but this was silly because they felt the pressure around them immediately heightening when Shane spoke, which they only felt from the highest authorities they met.
Unconsciously a few soldiers shouted out "UNDERSTOOD!" without knowing that they did.
Shane smiled lightly, as he took a deep breath in order to calm his excitement down, as he instructed loudly.
"As my first instruction, I want everyone to calm the F**K down!? What the hell are guys thinking you're doing? If you want to die, just jump down the wall with your head first! Don't obstruct your comrades and focus on your accuracy!"
Saying so, some soldiers immediately adjusted themselves and Shane smiled, thinking that it was relatively easy to overwhelm inexperienced soldiers with the harsh truth.
There were still quite a few nervous soldiers, but they would have to adjust themselves over time, because he had more important things to do, as he spoke out again.
"Right now we have to face two beast-tides at the same time but the crystal feathered eagles are the most problematic issue for us archers!
Apprentice stage archers and crossbowmen focus on the mass of Wild-stage crystal feathered eagles for the moment.
Expert Archers take care of the Elite-stage eagles.
The remaining crossbowmen fire at the Elite earth and fiery scaled lizards first! Everyone at the ballistae takes care of the awakened scaled lizards except the aqueous scaled lizard. The damage they cause to the wall is almost negligible."
Saying so, everyone adjusted themselves, while they began to follow Shane's instructions.
Before that, the young man next to him didn't instruct them what beasts they should focus on which was now completely different, and hearing Shane caused them to feel more secure.
The whole process per se was nothing special, but with Shane's aura, it was much easier to force everyone into following him.
A few minutes passed and his presence and continuous instructions eased up the soldier's accumulated tension, as the mass of beasts began to diminish slightly.
After he gave out his first orders, he also instructed the young man next to him to search for Leo, because he required the messenger crystal.
Seeing Leo ascending the stairs, he was astonished to see Shane and was about to shout at him, when he noticed him instructing the soldiers with detailed information in order to refine their hunting process.
"What?!" He mumbled, as the prior leader in charge answered with a sigh "Just let it be... Give him the messenger crystal…"

Hesitating, Leo did as his superior said, and he approached Shane, who noticed him.
"Are you a snail or something like that? Come faster, or do you want your comrades to die?!"
He shouted, causing Leo to frown 'How did his attitude change so fast?' but he followed his instruction, taking out the messenger crystal before stepping back.
"Now go to the dimensional portal and tell the new Archers and Crossbowmen to come up to the northern wall.
The close combat regiment should gather and prepare themselves at the northern gate to charge out of the shelter when I say so!
Immediately notify me if you guys have a tamer or special occupation within your new soldiers."
Shane ordered before he turned back to the prior leader, as he said
"Common close combat units don't use wind rider horses, right?... If a troop with wind rider horses appears, notify me! I hope you know their emblem and that their horses are stored within beast sealing cards and that you can'T instantly perceive them!"
When he finished giving out the order towards the two baffled young men, Shane channeled mana into the messenger stone, as he noticed the two men next to him didn't move.
"Are your feet rooted into the ground?! GO!"
Somehow Shane felt good because he could order everyone around, but only because of his ties to the Marshall.
'Somehow it's a hassle, but I like it, huh?' He thought, smiling lightly
Nevertheless, he had to help out, because it seemed like the higher-ranked militaries went out in order to clear the Wolf den.
In the end, they made a huge mistake by underestimating their opponents' wits, even though it was still not 100% sure that his prediction about the bloodlust thunder wolf's intelligence was correct.
The shelter wall seemed to fend off all crystal feathered eagles extremely well but that was mainly because there was still not a single awakened-stage eagle yet.
Meanwhile, the wall itself was pierced by multiple holes, causing wind blades and other attacks that went through to demolish the buildings behind.
The situation seemed to be in a neutral position and considering that Shane's small unit only began to work properly over the last few minutes, their efficiency increased many folds.
It was still not good enough in his opinion, but he had to accept it for the moment because reporting to the main soldier unit outside the shelter was more important.
He already saw other soldiers rushing towards them, while a few Warriors and other close combat occupations began to gather at the northern gate.
'Wall! You have to endure a few more minutes, okay? You're not allowed to collapse!' Shane repeated in his mind, trying not to say it out loud because it would distract the soldiers, as the messenger crystal finally connected to its counterpart.
He immediately heard loud roars, sounds of thunder clashing on metal, while humans and beasts could be heard crying out in pain, as he heard.
"WHAT NOW?! If there is nothing important I'll hang up!! The thunder wolf started a surprise attack while we retreated!"
