“Hmm, I think the shoulder pads would look better in a golden shade,” one of the girls said.
The other one stopped her needle in the air and glared at her sister. “You just said that golden shade would look terrible on them.”
“Yeah but… Now that I think about it, it would be way cooler!” the brunette with pigtails announced.
The other girl placed the half-finished costume and the needle in her lap and took a deep breath, before letting it out as a sigh.
“Your power is supposed to be about bouncing objects and people around… Not about bouncing from one opinion to another.” The elder sister shook her head.
They were interrupted by the sound of the door unlocking.
“Mama is here!” The indecisive girl shot out to greet mama leaving her tailor sister behind.
She sighed once again, folded up the costume, and put it away in a box before putting it all under the bed. She then calmly walked to the living room to greet her Mama.
Shifra was all smiles and cheer as always, but surprisingly that reflected off of the ever-frowning Carla as well. Mama seemed to be utterly exhausted on the other hand.
“Mama? What’s wrong?” She ran to her Mama, concerned.
As always, the colorful ball of energy jumped in to answer for her. “Maddy! We have a new sister on the way!”
“A new…” Maddy widened her eyes. “Shifra! Did you force Mama again?!”
