Ja Sun once again found himself within the Yin-Yang well. There was a reason why he chose to appear in her once again.
The Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well was a naturally formed blessed land. Even the disappearance of the Yin-Yang Petals did not affect the blessed land in any manner. It was already integrated with nature after so many years. The only natural need for the Yin-Yang Petals was to suppress the souls of the two divine beasts that Ja Sun used to break the limitations of his Sigh of Immortal and turned it into a spirit core itself, now holding the ability to continuously accumulate energy without end.
Of course, his core cannot simply skip to the divine level unless Ja Sun reaches rank 99 itself. While his mental energy was already at the limits of this world and his physique was the slightest bit away from that level, now, Ja Sun didn't need to worry about the two great aspects of his accumulation suppressing his spirit cultivation. With the core formed by the Sigh of Immortal and the souls of two Dragon Kings, Ja Sun's cultivation would shoot straight to another titled rank the moment he absorbs his third spirit soul.
The spare divine intent was used to break through the shackles of his Spirit Bones. Now, every spirit bone he had reached the level of crimson rank and gained a new skill each.
However, the existence of these souls meant that there must be a corpse nearby and indeed, the creation of this blessed land was due to the corpse of two giant beasts that formed this mountain on top of which this bowl-shaped blessed land was situated. And Ja Sun wouldn't be worth his salt if he didn't take the corpses of these god beasts for himself!
And, there he found a spirit bone each.
These two spirit bones were the real reason why he entered the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well because this is the only location that can still hold the change in temperature caused by the two spirit bones.
'Hmm... Yin-Yang Petals is actually a million-year-old spirit beast and Ah Yin displayed a rather unique spirit ring. Is it because the million-year-old spirit beasts are already considered demi-gods due to the divine energy within them? If so... am I already a demi-god?' Ja Sun hadn't considered this previously but it was nice to know that he had another status to flaunt in front of his team. After all, now it is Ah Yin and Bibi Dong who are lucky to bed a Demi-god and not the other way around.
Shaking his head and regaining his focus, Ja Sun silently gazed at the mysterious weapons in front of him.
That's right.
Weapons.
Fully inspecting the corpses of the dragon kings revealed that the two were devoid of any essence and constantly getting devoured and decomposed by nature may not have left a mark on their tough hides but that didn't mean their bodies were left unharmed. Only their exterior was still untouched. Meanwhile, their interiors had fully rotten and decomposed. After all, the two corpses were in this location for god knows how long.
Still, their bodies didn't have any cores present and aside from their hides, Ja Sun first felt that their skeletons would be useful. Yet, when he pulled out the spirit bones, the entirety of the skeletal structure of the beasts turned into ashes.
This confused Ja Sun.
First, if the cores were not present here and then where were they? His trait copies items and then rewards him. This means that either he isn't the first suitor to these corpses or these beasts had somehow lost their cores before they died and their cores were probably hidden in some ancient ruins.
Second, what the hell was going with these two 'spirit bones.'?
On the blue side of the pond was a fiery red arm cannon with its body seemingly carved to look similar to dragon scales. Its fist-sized opening barrel was surrounded by a miniaturized fire dragon king's head with its horns smoothly shifting back and surrounding the even bigger opening for the hand to slide in.
'A magical freaking cannon!' Ja Sun was shaken. But happily so. This was a strange iteration of a spirit bone... no, something made Ja Sun feel that this wasn't a spirit bone at all because if it was only a cannon, Ja Sun would have considered this an exception and an external spirit bone.
However, to the red side of the pond was a slightly curved saber formed from an ice-like crystal blue material that may as well be considered the fang of the Water Dragon King. The hilt of the saber was dark blue with chromatic dragon scales, the pommel extended and curved to form a tiny Water Dragon King's head as its crystal horns fully formed the base of the hilt.
Even if Ja Sun was retarded in the ways of gods, he could never consider the two items as spirit bones.
One was an arm cannon, the other was a saber.
Ja Sun silently thought for a moment and held the two items again. His left hand reached out for the arm cannon and his right arm gripped the saber. Two forces of fire and ice instantly entered his body. Ja Sun now knew that the two dragons proclaimed either Ultimate Fire and Ultimate Water attributes, or Ultimate Fire and Ultimate Ice attributes. Either way, it failed to affect Ja Sun now that he used these two attributes to form his third core and create a resonance with his other two cores.
'I can finally hand Liu Erlong her ass, huh,' Ja Sun smirked. He didn't hate the feeling of dominating the battle when the opponent is as fun as Erlong.
The shape of the Arm Cannon shifted. It grew a bit bigger to accommodate for the vajra gauntlets over his arm and then snugly covered his arm till his elbows. Meanwhile, the saber was the same. Its hilt expanded and to match its size, so did the blade of the saber. The thing to note about the saber was that its blade wasn't clean and sharp. It was slightly jagged as if made from unrefined crystals itself. But firmly grasping the item, Ja Sun had no doubt that its might was not dependent on how it looked.
The two items seemed to have their basic sentience but they didn't reject Ja Sun. It was either because he killed the original souls and digested them or the fact that by digesting the remnants of two dragons, the two items felt Ja Sun familiar on a more spiritual level.
Either way, the two weapons, and the two dragons' hides were the last useful things for Ja Sun in this location. Of course, he wouldn't share these treasures with Ah Yin the same way he shared the immort herbs with her. She got the million-year-old spirit soul and torso bone with Torso Bone considered the most important of all the slots so she was already filled with benefits... and then some more...
Still, aside from being able to hold the two weapons, Ja Sun couldn't really feel any connection to them or understand how these items worked. After all, he tried to mobilize his spirit energy but that didn't work. Scrutinizing the two weapons with his recently, fully healed divine intent, Ja Sun found that indeed, the two weapons were... a grade above spirit bones he had seen including the million-year-old ribcage spirit bone Ah Yin was currently absorbing above.
This meant that these items were probably beyond the pay grade of the materials found on this continent.
Now that he was sure that no other presence was hidden within the two weapons, Ja Sun quickly took out a vial of his blood from the storage ring. He had multiple vials just present for issues like this.
*Weng*
The extreme clash of two forces within his body disappeared the moment a drop of his blood was absorbed by the saber and the arm cannon each while similar to a spirit bone, he now realized the abilities of these two divine weapons.
"Talk about blasting everyone... these two weapons are going to net me less than D-ranked missions every time," Ja Sun clicked his tongue. The weapons suddenly disappeared into his body, an ability of theirs.
Scratching his bald head, Ja Sun frowned for a moment. Of all the abilities, he now wished to have something related to the growth of his hair.
Sighing softly, he swam towards the surface of the well and found Ah Yin still in the process of absorbing the spirit bone. This Torso Spirit Bone would surely push her physique to another level and with a core already formed, Ja Sun wouldn't be surprised if Ah Yin hit the limits of the world in one go.
Ah Yin already broke into rank 80 at the beginning of the process but decided to not breakthrough just yet. Not because of some problem in her foundation or accumulating more energy. But just to stick it into others who formed their realms of self earlier than her which included Ja Sun, too. She was vindictive and she was sure to flaunt her newfound abilities.
Ja Sun silently took out nine golden bracelets once again but this time, the nine of the bracelets weren't resplendent and shiny as if layered with chrome. Instead, they looked rugged with the slight pattern of scales present on them. Though Ja Sun felt complicated, he found an appropriate method of having a return on this investment.
A depraved grin touched his lips as he continued to work on his next creation.
Ah Yin took a total of five more days to absorb the spirit bone successfully and she instantly grinned widely. After revealing her life-saving trump card that was her sixth spirit ring, Ah Yin didn't keep her skills a secret anymore and Ja Sun was quite interested in the skills she gained from her million-year-old spirit bone. After all, there didn't seem any difference in the crimson and million-year-old spirit ring aside from the obvious impact of the skill itself. But Ja Sun still couldn't confirm that there completely similar.
"So?" Ja Sun inquired with an eager expression, "Was the Spirit Bone worth it?"
Ah Yin smiled slightly, "Guess."
Ja Sun observed Ah Yin intently and he began, "Your physique brokethrough and reached the limits. Do you feel any different?"
"Aside from the feeling that something terrible is suppressing future growth, no," Ah Yin hummed thoughtfully and glanced at the nine bracelets in front of Ja Sun which he proceeded to store in his storage ring.
"Just that breakthrough is enough to be considered a worthwhile experience," Ja Sun nodded.
"Hmm, then check this out," Ah Yin smirked. She made her domain visible and revealed how it covered the entirety of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. This was nothing new. As long as plants exist, Ah Yin can continuously expand her domain. She then touched the ground in front of her. Her spirit energy began to continuously seep out of her body and form a thin yet sturdy pitch-black staff that was rooted into the ground.
Ja Sun knew of this skill, too. This was a new ability of her domain after she absorbed the Yin-Yang Petals.

Yin-Yang Domain Independence.
It allows the user to plan a yin or yang nod into an area that keeps the domain active even without the user nearby by actively absorbing natural energy from the surroundings. The domain provides information to the user constantly until the node is destroyed and the domain can be manipulated portably as if the user is present itself.
After anchoring her Blue Silver Domain onto the Yin-attributed node, Ah Yin took a deep breath. Suddenly, a beautiful pendant formed from black and white petals emerged and stayed right beneath her neck, slightly close to her collarbone. The ribcage spirit bone didn't form any armor. Instead, this pendant on her flesh was rooted into her ribcage.
Suddenly, a grey wave of energy emerged from Ah Yin's body and seamlessly merged with the Blue Silver Domain. Strangely, the plants around Ja Sun and Ah Yin began to grow at a speed visible to the naked eyes. It was to be kept in mind that all these plants are immortal herbs of various properties yet their growth had been suddenly multiplied! This was a speed not known to these plants even with the support of this blessed land since each of these plants would take thousands if not ten thousand years worth of energy to have any noticeable change.
With a smug smirk, Ah Yin explained, "This is called Yin-Yang Growth Domain. It multiplies the growth of any plant and herb or its spirit beast variants by a level every ten ranks. Right now, at rank 80, the multiplier is at 9 times."
Ja Sun blinked, "That's it? It's just for plants."
"Plants are equally important!" A visage of a young girl in dotted white and black robes appeared behind Ah Yin as she balled her tiny fists and glared at Ja Sun with a cute pout.
"For you, maybe. Not for me," Ja Sun shrugged, "Aside from you, of course." He waggled his brows suggestively at Yin, "Come on, lemme water you~!"
Rolling her eyes, Ah Yin prepared her blow, "It might not be useful for you but think. Once we settle here, I can keep this domain up for a longer period of time as I grow stronger... we can form a base of our own. Even if we own the Giant's Fortress, it is heavily reliant on Spirit Hall for manpower. With the Immortal Herbs and your skill at medicine making, we will be able to sustain ourselves well enough."
Ja Sun nodded. It was quite reasonable since aside from the Attack Clan, there weren't any orthodox factions dealing with medicines.
"Besides, this is only one of the four skills," Ah Yin smiled.
"I'm sorry... four?" Ja Sun questioned.
"Four."
"As in— one, two, three, and four?"
Ah Yin shrugged, "I've got four skills from the spirit bone, I don't know what else to say."
Ja Sun mulled over it for a moment. He knew about the cultivation of the spirit energy quite extensively but even his tomes never mentioned the use of a million-year-old spirit bone.
"What are they?" Ja Sun grew interested at once.
"Well, one of them allows me to passively absorb energy from the surroundings and refine it into mental, internal, and spirit energy."
"Wait... mental energy, too?" Ja Sun pouted, "Then what about mental acupuncture—"
"No." Ah Yin gritted her teeth and glared resolutely. She now felt that Ja Sun was already crazy... but if Yuehua persisted with this training for so long, something might be wrong with her, too. Of course, as a spirit beast who was reformed into a human with the highest potential, Ah Yin couldn't understand the sheer exhilaration Yuehua felt with every minute progress due to her bottleneck for more than twenty years.
"Anyway, the skills by themselves aren't extraordinary. It's as you said, the benefit was the enhancement of my body. My third skill is a control-type skill and the final one is rather... peculiar. It isn't needed for most of the situation."
Ah Yin replied as she huffed softly and revoked the domain. The pendant over her collarbone reverted into her body, too.
"Even if the consumption of energy isn't as high as the skill should demand if it were a black ring... the toll of this domain is uncharacteristically high." Ah Yin admitted as she inquired with a smile, "Amazing, right?"
Ja Sun didn't know what to say. Well, he knew...
"If that's all then it's... eh, I guess, you need to be lucky with your spirit rings."
Ah Yin's expression turned dark.
"It's a million-year-old spirit soul!" She mumbled, "Not like you have any."
"But I've got domains, too," Ja Sun shrugged, "Aside from the influence of my martial soul that increases the cultivation of everyone," he emphasized the last portion, "The True Fantasy Domain adds to the base multiplier... not to mention, this."
Ja Sun still had his Vajra Gauntlets but the faint stripe-like patterns on their surface turned rather deep as a pitch-black arm guard with further white stripes covered his right arm and a white arm guard with black stripes covered his left arm.
These were none other than his two arm bones.
A grey domain erupted from Ja Sun's body this time.
Unlike Ah Yin's that easily mixed with her Blue Silver Domain, this one had a mist-like projection and Ah Yin frowned.
"This... it's..." Ah Yin whispered... a bit jealous, "If you were present with this domain when I was growing... I would have gained consciousness at almost half the time..."
"It's called Sage Domain. It works to increase the comprehension of any living being present within the domain so... I'd say it's useless for me unless I'm stuck at some part of array or refining and need inspiration."
Ja Sun revoked the domain while Ah Yin closed her eyes, enjoying the after-effects as she could feel her mind getting clearer. It wasn't an effect of mental energy but her thoughts being strangely revitalized and ready to tackle any theoretical problem.
Ja Sun kept its weakness to himself though. The two spirit bones worked together. So, if he lost his arm again, even if he lives, unless he finds a way to grow his arm and then absorb the spirit bone once again, he won't be able to use the skills of either the arm bones.
Aside from the two divine weapons that he gained this time, Ja Sun still had something else he wanted to inspect.
Ah Yin isn't the only one with a million-year-old spirit bone, after all.
Still, Ja Sun agreed with one thing. His and Ah Yin's support skills are enough to create an organization with the potential to become the same as, if not surpass, the Spirit Hall.
With Ah Yin keeping the Yin-attributed node in the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, the duo finally left the blessed land to tackle the location given by Qian Daoliu to Ah Yin as her reward. It was time to reap the benefits even if it meant tackling some troublesome spirit beasts.
