"If the Beast God attacks you directly, your life will be in peril and I won't be able to get answers," The Heavenly Snow Maiden spoke up. She cast a glance to the battered Duskgold Dreadclaw Bear who proclaimed one of the strongest tearing forces in the continent and yet wasn't able to display his full might. She then looked at the Three-headed Mastiff, Di Tian, and the Evileye Tyrant. Her look was clear.
To not interfere.
"It is said that the Heavenly Snow Maidens brew storms with each step which explodes once they stop moving. It's clear that you are in control of that aspect," Ja Sun smiled, "But I don't have any answers for you."
"You do. Back when your intent wasn't strong enough to shroud your fortunes allowed me to—" before the Heavenly Snow Maiden could continue, she felt a terribly ominous sensation and a burst of snowy gales from her body failed to impact a rather casual arm that leaned onto her shoulder. The Ja Sun in front of her disappeared as if it was a mirage while she heard a chuckle, "Do you have a name? It's hard to just call you Heavenly Snow Maiden."
Not losing her bearings, the woman's icy blue gaze gained a golden sheen and her presence grew several folds, "You may address me as Snow Empress."
"That's a title," as if unaware of the Ultimate aspect of the snow attribute that the spirit beat wielded, Ja Sun hummed, "Don't you have a name? It would pain me greatly if I beat such a fair spirit beast without even knowing your name."
"I don't have one other than Snow Empress."
"That's a shame. Well, I will call you Snow. There's something you should know about me, Snow," Ja Sun smiled, "The Cold never bothered me for some time now."
"Burn to ashes!" The Three-headed Mastiff howled and appeared behind Ja Sun and Snow Empress. The three of its maws stretched open while furious elements roiled within, waiting to explode in all strength.
"Oh, the heat doesn't bother me that much either... I mean the more literal heat," Ja Sun looked up with a wicked grin. The three breaths of energy instantly landed on the duo. The Three-headed Mastiff didn't have much empathy for foreign spirit beasts and thus, it didn't matter to him if the Snow Empress was currently supporting them or not. He'd had enough of this charade.
With a cold snort, Snow Empress tapped the foot with her toe and a brilliant world of snow descended onto the forest. The ground and trees froze due to the cold while the mastiff's body was covered by a thin layer of snow that stopped him from moving. The same thing happened to Ja Sun as he observed everything curiously.
Snow and Ice have very little difference but there existed Spirit Beasts of both natures distinctive to one another. Snow Empress and the Ice Jade Scorpion were such a case. Aside from the cold, Ja Sun could glean that Ice had a more aggressive, almost stubborn quality while the snow was volatile and flexible in its usage. And suppressive, too, but this was shared with ice attribute, too. Still, both of these fell into the broader spectrum of cold attributes.
And as Ja Sun stated honestly, Cold and Heat attributes of most nature, including the ultimate kinds were almost useless in front of him due to his two cores.
The Yin-Yang War Physique and the Immortal Buddha King Core were both developed by the two opposing forces of cold and heat, yin and yang. In fact, the spirit core was refined from the two opposing divine souls so his body was quite literally the point where cold met heat and blended into the perfect bathing temperature!
"And you would think of using your domain after seeing a bestial acquaintance of yours getting destroyed," Ja Sun smiled, even now, the Three-headed Mastiff and Snow Empress hadn't utilized their domains and Ja Sun could empathize with them. Every being at their level will have certain confidence. Even now, Ja Sun could feel many of his clones extinguishing and many beasts returning with outrageous killing intent. Of them, these beasts left here were the cream of the crop. Going all out against a human despite the battle capability he had demonstrated still felt quite ridiculous to them.
While the cold from the snow didn't affect him, the element itself proved to be suppressive. Essentially, Ja Sun was highly resistant to the point of an illusion of immunity when it came to extremely high and low temperatures. But the form of the element itself could hurt or affect him. Clenching his fist, Ja Sun finally used the second skill of his second spirit ring.
The Silver Goddess Convergence.
As the phantom of the butterfly expanded from Ja Sun's form, the snow was absorbed by the phantom and both of them began to crumble at a quick pace. Snow Empress' expression changed and she shifted back quickly but the same thing couldn't be said about the Three-headed Mastiff. Although the beast could sense everything, Snow Empress was simply stronger than him and now that the sneak attack failed, it was time to suffer the consequences.
As the element itself was absorbed by the million-year-old spirit skill, Ja Sun's grin grew wider and menacing. For a second, he stared at Di Tian, "King of Beasts and also Beast God... you must have quite the reputation. Are you sure you're alright with your subordinates getting backhanded?"
The taunt, however, proved ineffective, "I won't interfere now that you are no threat to another million-year-old spirit beast."
"You mean now that you get to devour its body, right?" Ja Sun shrugged, "Oh, well, I can understand. Rulers often adopt hypocrisy to suit themselves but it's simply one of the best possible solutions out there."
Not minding the least that his thoughts were exposed, Di Tian kept his silence until...
"Still, it must sting. You banished Bi Ji... how about it? Regretting your actions now that you know what she was up against?" Ja Sun always thought of himself to be humble. After all, he was praising himself even when he hadn't gone all out. This is the true stroke of humbleness.
Snow Empress furrowed her white brows while Di Tian narrowed his eyes. Yet, Ja Sun didn't wait for the beast to act again and strangely lock down his space but instead brought his clenched talon down on the Three-headed Mastiff that was enhanced by the sheer power of an ultimate element.
The results were...
Devastating.
The Three-headed Mastiff already had trouble enduring Snow Empress' slightly serious move and now it was impacted into a single region. One of its heads, to be precise. Although the middle head exploded like a watermelon on a summer beach, the other two merely fell unconscious from the pain.
The crushed head would regrow but it would take quite some time...
A period of time that could have been shortened drastically if Bi Ji was to be still present.
Relishing the sight of his handiwork, Ja Sun looked back. His gaze brilliant and his expression stunning to the point that Snow Empress questioned whether they outnumbered the human... or he outnumbered them. It was just a feeling. Though, given his cloning skills, it might just be something within Ja Sun's capabilities but the mind of a warrior is also a factor to be considered.
There was no way in hell Ja Sun would let some instinctual clones not even powered by his Death Astral Combatant to rob him off of his fun for dealing with the continent's strongest. It was like getting cucked by himself... the worst kind he could imagine.
"I sincerely hope you survive," Snow Empress exhaled softly. The pure white hems of her dress fluttered without any wind and a domain spread out instantly, causing Di Tian, Evileye Tyrant, and other spirit beasts to quickly retreat a short distance. Well, those that could move did. Those unconscious could only have a thin film of snow shrouding their bodies.
The snow-white domain caused the surroundings to wrap due to the sudden shift in temperature equivalent to the extreme north. Snow formed around Ja Sun and Snow Empress before drizzling on the ground.
Enamored for a second, Ja Sun stretched his hand out and let a batch of snow settle over his left talon covered by Vajra Gauntlet.
"Hmm, it's beautiful... Snow, since your species is born with a humanoid form, have you ever delved into the human's method of growth? Fighting techniques and as such?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Of course, I don't want to overwhelm you using your weakness. And if it's close-quarter combat, then I will keep a good distance to even the playing field."
Narrowing her eyes in suspicion, Snow Empress couldn't help but scowl, "I don't need your pity."
Ja Sun grew silent for a second. Many other beasts watched from a distance. One of the major reasons they didn't expand their domain senselessly was that they feared retaliation of foreign spirit beasts. The Deep Sea Demonic Whale and his partner were not a threat but Ice Jade Scorpion and the Heavenly Snow Maiden still presented quite the strength in tandem and not to mention the wicked Evileye Tyrant whose strength closely followed after the Beast God himself.
Under the silence, Snow Empress felt a sensation of bubbling... disgust festering inside of Ja Sun.

"Pity?" Ja Sun's smile receded for a moment as his gaze turned a tinge crueler, "No... it's not pity. I will dominate you even when I'm not at my best and when I'm done with, you'd sigh in relief that you're still alive... because I let you live. All you beasts, too.
I'm gonna ravage every single one of you. Strip your pride and decorate you with lingeries of shame and humiliation and despair until you realize how lucky all you are to escape with your life... except that whale."
Saying so, Ja Sun stretched both his arms. The extremely light and dark tiger stripes pattern on the surface of the Vajra Gauntlets grew prominent and the back section of his arm had the fur covered by a white and black arm guard that wrapped around his shoulders.
There was a distinct tiger's head imprinted on the Vajra Gauntlets as of this moment while Ja Sun's dark voice called out internally—
"Sage Tiger Summoning."
Unlike the clones that created the giant phantom of the divine beast on the outside, Ja Sun used the Hell Black Tiger Right Arm Bone and the Hell White Tiger Left Arm Bone to wrap the phantom of the giant tiger with glimmering white fur and eerily dark stripes. The phantom had three eyes. Each eye decorated with one red and one blue pupil that made the hearts of the viewers shudder as the presence Ja Sun commanded was simply... devilish.
Not floating in the middle of the beast, Ja Sun's gaze bore into Snow Empress. His unruly gaze felt disgusting yet she could only take the threat with all her seriousness since Ja Sun's words and his desire left many disturbed.
Who would want to go through such a humiliating experience?
Not her, at least.
"To answer your previous question... I am well-versed with battle techniques. Of all, my strength excels in this aspect the most. Prepare yourself... I shall go all out."
Ja Sun's gloomy expression instantly turned into a passionate one.
"Fine," his laugh caused the tiger to roar itself, the air itself vibrated by the sheer pressure caused by the combined spirit bone skill— "Let's rumble!"
"Not good, stay farther back!" Di Tian exclaimed suddenly and ordered others to retreat. Everyone except the Ice Jade Scorpion did the same.
For a second, Ja Sun's eyes widened.
After all...
"What an elegant control of spirit energy," Ja Sun's eyes grew glazed.
The sight of the domain that could freeze a Titled Douluo to his or her death contracted. It grew smaller and smaller until all the strength was collected in the Snow Empress' left palm. Her already fair palm now had a crystalline look as if it was formed from snowy crystals and she took slow but elegant steps towards Ja Sun.
"Heavenly Maidens are beauties of the world and envied by heavens. Cursed to brew storms and never settle, they are targeted for their essence by man and beasts alike.
It is I, who allowed my species to prosper because I'm the strongest.
Space warped around her palm as she continued.
"In my cold heart remains a trace for warmth towards life and respect towards Heavens still. Gods are creatures mighty, and we all must look up to them. Similarly, my technique shall shroud your spirit energy.
Your body may be impervious to cold, but energy is a concept far too abstract and in this giant form... I can easily freeze your very essence."
Standing right in front of the colossal tiger, Heavenly Snow Maiden stretched her left palm out while Ja Sun gulped in anticipation.
"There is warmth amidst snow... Snowless Glacier," she whispered. Her spirit energy shot through the roof as the surroundings trembled.
*Tap*
"I still hope you survive," she added while touching the phantom.
Many beasts gulped audibly. Waiting for the haunting sight of energy freezing itself yet...
"Pfftt! I can't put up a brave face! Damn! Warmth within snow?" Ja Sun's outrageous laugh is the only thing that shook the forest, "Bitch! Even my energy itself is refined by treasures you can only have wet dreams about! Fuck! It was too good!"
Not willing to give Snow Empress a chance to regain her bearings, the tiger instantly bit onto her body.
The sight of the stunned Snow Empress mauled by a tiger... chewed out and then spat out with another spit of disgust that only turned the phantom energy into an actual drizzle, everyone felt breathless.
"Now, this is my first time fighting like a beast so you guys have no excuse of being a loser..." Ja Sun grinned, "Ready or not, here I come!"
The Tiger leaped gracefully while a pair of wings stretched out of its back. The feathers themselves broke free and shot out at a startling speed towards every single creature except the obvious two.
Much to Ja Sun's relief, the two beasts also seemed intent in battling him alone at this point. He had roused enough interest, anger, and shame that he was bound to be rich once this was over...
Then again, at his level, not everything is usable.
Oh, the 1 percenters suffer indeed.
