Because all the others' bags were currently full with items, Alan told Nim to take what remained in Sam's bag.
[3 x Canned Meat]
[2 x Canned Fruit]
[1 x Bottle Water]
Previously, there were 16 cans of food in Sam's bag, but now, most of them are gone, and only one-third were left. This was actually part of the game's mechanics. When a player died, only some of their items could be collected by other players.
After that, Alan approached the unconscious man and looted what he could from his wear-on equipment.

Luis watched as Alan looted the unconscious man and collected all the items. Seeing that the deed was done, he approached the latter with a cheeky smile, "My man… these are all super fine, anything you can share with me… Ahem, I mean, with us?"
Alan had no problem sharing, but he decided to keep the [Hunting Knife] for himself without raising a discussion. Only after that did he let the other three choose one item each.
At first, Laura was thinking about taking the jumper. But, the Mexican seemed to hate the cold weather because he took the jacket at the first opportunity, leaving her and Nims remaining. She gave Nims a look, prompting him to choose between the two weapons, but considering the monk seemed to have no preference, Laura took the [Metal Bat], while the bigger [Lead Pipe] automatically went to Nims.
Alan scoured the surroundings as he finished looting and found wires from the nearby rubbish bin. He took them without hesitation, wound them together to create a makeshift rope, and tied the unconscious man with it. He then asked Nims to carry the man away.
"Are we going back to the library now?" asked one of them, Laura, to be more precise.
Alan shook his head and said
"No, we still have one more place to go."
All four walked across the snow-filled streets, staying vigilant for anyone who tried to come close to them. After walking for a few blocks in deep snow, they finally reached their destination; dozens of civilians and players were seen walking around the place during this time.
Led by Alan, the group stopped their feet in front of a specific 10-story apartment building. Alan looked at his Gamelink and saw the countdown.
[5 hours. 0 minutes]
"Right on time," Alan murmured slowly to himself.
Even though it was faint, Laura still managed to hear Alan's words and was confused by what they meant. She cast her gaze around, but there was nothing significant around this area besides the apartment building in front of them.

But just as she was about to ask, her words were stuck in her throat as she suddenly felt the temperature drop sharply. The skies above felt like they had become heavier as well, and then, more and more snow started to fall down.
[Warning: The Snowstorm turns heavy. The temperature will drop]
Right after the notification appeared, the snowfall became extremely heavy, almost like a blizzard, and with that, another notification came as if it had been waiting for this exact moment. Some of the players stared at the text with dread.
[You Received Status: Cold level Three]
[Stamina Regeneration Drops 50%]
Reading the notification made Laura panic. Since her overall stats were lower than the others in the group, her debuff status has been raised to level 4, carrying a 75% stamina regeneration drop and an added effect of a 30% reduction in movement speed. The cold now felt like it was spreading within her body, making each of her limbs feel numb and unusable.
Meanwhile, the Mexican was smiling, as with his new jumper, his status was only on level 3, just like Alan.
"What about you, Nims?"
Alan turned to look at Nims, and the monk raised two fingers, "Level two," he answered. A faint gasp escaped Laura's mouth when she heard that, while Alan raised his eyebrows in amazement.
This Nims is a monster, and a part of Alan couldn't help but be curious about the man's stats. However, he noticed that Laura had turned pale, and her movements had slowed considerably, so he decided to bring the group into the building first.
When they closed the door to the building, they felt much warmer than before, and all cold status slowly fell down by one level, making Laura sigh in relief.
"What are we doing here, Alan?" Laura asked. Though she was glad to be warm, she still had no idea what Alan was thinking.
"Follow me," Alan took the lead walking up the stairs.
There was not one single soul in this place, just like when Alan came to hide in this place last time.
When the second stage of the snowstorm arrived, those with low endurance would end up taking refuge within any building. Hence, if they still did not have a buffed item like the one Luis was having, there was a high chance they would be stuck in one place for the next 5 hours.
The last time Alan was here, he had taken some time to check the whole building floors. He was fortunate to find a fashion photography studio with a massive wardrobe, enough to take up half the floor.
The group quickly got excited when they were finally told why they were there. The next instant, they split up and searched the whole place with renewed vigor.
In a matter of minutes, they found three similar jumpers to the one Nims was wearing, not to mention three thicker ones.
[Name: Winter Jacket]
[Type: Clothes]
[Rarity: Common]
[Attributes: Defense +3]
[Effects: Moderate Cold resistance]
[Equipment Rating: 14]
[Able To Bring Outside The Game: No]
[Remarks: It's fashionable too!]
Alan passed the winter gear he found to the others and announced, "Alright, as Luis already has one, these will be for the three of us," Alan said with a knowing smile towards the Mexican.
Luis' face had gone pale from shock, and he could only stammer as he stared at the jackets.
Unlike what he was wearing, the winter jacket with extra buff would help drop 2 levels of the cold status. In other words, it would highly increase the chance of survival in this round, at least from death by cold.
Knowing that, Luis decided to throw his pride to the wind and beg the monk for a trade, but Alan shook his head. "Don't, Nims, we are going to need all the extra buff we could get for what we will be facing next."
At the same time, the unconscious man was awake, "Where.. What are you doing to me?"
