I drove the car down the streets of LS. As usual, people were driving left and right, and sometimes, deliberately crashing into another car without any particular reason, aka programming at its finest. Still, it could be just a random encounter out of nowhere, as far as I considered it.

Arriving at the LS custom, the garage door with the Los Santos Custom written on it in cursive opened slowly, one of the most annoying mechanics in this game, especially during the wanted level when time became key. Even a single second could be the difference between life and death.

The car entered the garage and the mechanic immediately greeted me, "Simeon told me that you'll come. Everything that you order will come under his tab, so pick what you want."

The interaction menu appeared again. This time, it displayed a bunch of options for modifying cars. Of course, I scrolled to insurance first to know what I'd buy first, which was the tracker and the full coverage.

"Ah yes, insurance, always a good choice, what's next, maybe a modification or something?"

"Sure thing."

"Wait, you speak?" The mechanic sounded really surprised, and I was surprised that it was his reaction.

I scrolled the interaction menu for any upgrade, but all of it was locked behind rank requirements which meant all I could do was to change the color of the vehicle, which wasn't much at all. Well, I liked the color of this Oracle, I wouldn't change it at all.

I chose to get out of the garage. I reversed the car out of the LS custom. The garage closed once I left the place. Immediately, out of my Ifruit, a notification from Mors Mutual Insurance came. It confirmed that I had purchased their insurance.

[Now that you have purchased insurance for your car, you can make a claim if your car is destroyed or stolen. To claim the insurance, you can call Mors Mutual Insurance and have it replaced]

And that was it, I didn't have anything else to do. The tutorial was complete, now I just had to find some works to be done and I'd be set for life in Los Santos. However, what kind of job I should do in this town? I was basically a nobody in this town.

I decided to call Lamar. There was an option which appeared as simply ■Jobs■. I clicked on that option and the phone called automatically without me having to press anything other than that.

◄Calling: Lamar►

"Sup, homie, looking for a job, eh, dog? Well, I have something, my boy G wants you to retrieve drugs from those ballers in La Puerta. They are doing a deal in the recycling plan. Think you can handle that, dog?"

"I think I can try," I said.

"You better go get a better piece. You know what I'm sayin'. Your gun goes pew pew and their guns go brrt brrt and bang bang."

"Yeah, yeah, I get what you meant."

"Go to the ammunition in La Mesa. I heard Simeon called you, right?"

"Yeah, something something about a car," I said.

"Nice, the dude will also provide you with works, if you get what I mean," Lamar closed the phone.

[Go to Ammu-Nation]

A yellow circle appeared on the mini-map and it pointed straight right at the ammunition on the road near LS customs. I drove the car up the ramp and to the ammunition that was on the right side.

I parked my Oracle in front of the Ammu-Nation. Once I entered the place, the dealer immediately talked to me when I approached the counter. Again, another interaction menu appeared, but this time, it only appeared next to the weapon that I looked at the counter.

"Welcome to Ammu-Nation, for your weapons need. We have the semi-auto, full-auto, large caliber, and small caliber firearms, all at a price tag, of course," the weapon dealer said.

He was the usual Ammu-Nation guy with gun glasses, shorts, and a cap. Still, he was an overall friendly guy, to be entirely honest, selling weapons without asking any questions. Heck, this shop also sold RPGs.

I looked at the MP5 aka the SMG. It was displayed on the wall, however, it wasn't sold because it was out of stock. At the bottom of it, a text said [Weapon is unlocked at Rank 100]. There was still a long way to go.

I looked at the micro SMG aka the Mini-SMG. It was also locked, but it could be unlocked way earlier at Rank 5. The Assault rifle was out of the question since it was considered an advanced weapon by the likes of new players, like me.

However, most of the weapons on the right were unlocked. I looked to the left. A rifle was hanging on the wall. The rifle was an accurate rifle, resembling the G36C assault rifle refitted with furniture.

[Special Carbine LVL.1] [15,000$]

Fire Rate: ■■■■■■

Accuracy: ■■■■■■■■■

Even at the most basic variant, the special carbine was the most accurate assault rifle in the game, even without any upgrades. With upgrades, it became a much deadlier weapon in the right hand. However, it also came with somehow peashooter damage. Then again, it would cost me my entire lifesaving.

Still, level 1? I didn't remember such a mechanism was in the game at its creation. Well, I shouldn't even assume this was full-blown similar to real GTA in any way I knew. It could be mixed with Call of Duty as far as I cared. Heck, it could involve some hacking.

However, the rifle was simply too expensive at this moment. Even from the extra cash I got from Lamar and Gerald gave to me, I only had 10,000$ in total which was not enough to purchase the gun.

Well, there was only one gun that I would think was worth buying. The other guns were simply not accurate enough for my taste, especially with how big the spread of a gun could be. The option was the Bullpup Shotgun loosely based on Kel-Tec KSG.

[Bullpup Shotgun LVL.1] [8,000$]

Damage: ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Fire Rate: ■■■■

Accuracy: ■■■

Range: ■■

A Shotgun was a close-range weapon with a ridiculous amount of damage, but the range was less than desired. However, on a basic kind of enemy, they would die just from one shot alone. However, it was quite finicky.

I bought the Bullpup Shotgun and it automatically appeared on my inventory. How did I know? Well, there was a notification and there was another option which was the weapon wheel.

The shotgun appeared in my weapon wheel. It appeared like the regular weapon wheel, but it was on the top of my wrist, just like a watch, felt like playing VR games to be entirely honest. I got out of the store and my Ubermacht Oracle was still parked there.

I entered the car and turned on the car engine again. Time to go to the recycling center. How to open the big map of this world, though? Would there be an app on my IFruit? I opened the phone and there was indeed a map app.

Judging from the location of the blip as I observed the map, the deal was going down right inside the recycling center. Well, I would take the front entrance of the recycling center then, it would give me easier access to the top floor.
