"Welcome to Ammu-Nation, all of our weapons are customizable, cleaned, and ready to fire."
As usual, the gun seller greeted me. I approached the counter and the interaction menu appeared as usual. This time, I would purchase a special carbine, a carbine rifle based on the G36 assault rifle.
The usual display appeared in my point of view.
[Special Carbine LVL.1] [15,000$]
Damage: ■■■■
Fire Rate: ■■■■■■
Accuracy: ■■■■■■■■■
Range: ■■■■
Attachment: -
I wouldn't buy any attachments for this time, due to how expensive several attachments were. Perhaps, I still could buy some inexpensive attachments for the rifle, such as the extended magazine alongside the scope.
[60 Round Extended Magazine] [9,000$]
[Eotech HWS 512 Holographic Sight] [5,000$]
The customization seemed different from what it used to be. If you don't know, the only sight available in GTA 5 or GTA Online for a regular carbine rifle was the standard Elcan Spectre sight which was very much boring, to be honest. In this one, I could ask for anything I wanted.
10,997$
I bought the weapon. 29,000$ was gone from my bank account immediately. The Special Carbine appeared on my inventory. It didn't have many bullets, only 300 rounds, included with the bullets inside of the magazine.
I bought 1,000 bullets for 997$, and all I had left was 10,000$ in my bank account. Well, Special Carbine was a literal laser rifle due to how accurate the rifle was. He walked out of the Ammu-Nation and immediately equipped the Special Carbine on his hand.
The cold polymer and metal touched the palm of my hand. I aimed the rifle and shouldered it on my shoulder. The Eotech holographic sight was easy to use and easy to aim, much better than the regular Elcan sight that the game used by default.
"Hmm, nice grip, it felt nice on my hand too," I commented on the rifle.
I then put the rifle away from my hands. I entered my Oracle and drove away from Ammu-Nation. Great, even though I had a better rifle now, I didn't have any meaningful amount of cash now. There should be a way to get more cash in this place.
◄Incoming Call: Lamar►
"Yo, how's it going?" Lamar asked me.
"Good, kinda good. DUDE, we just met like not 20 minutes ago," I said.
"I know. That's why I'm asking," Lamar said, straightly.

"Is the hood that dangerous?" I asked.
"Now that you're saying that, not really, unless you're Ballas that is," Lamar said.
"Haha, that's funny," I replied in good sport.
"Yeah, I know that. By the way, dog, have you considered getting some wet money?" Lamar asked.
Wet money, it was like wet work, more or less. It also meant illegal work, but what kind of illegal work would Lamarwould Lamar offer me? Or, would he give another contact? Nah, Lamar wasn't exactly a person that was having a connection left and right, to be honest.
If I got something from Lester, on the other hand, he might give me a better job since he was practically the mastermind of every single heist that the whole GTA had ever experienced, from just a jewelry store heist to the Union Depository heist where the protagonists stole more than 200,000,000$.
Hahaha, I wouldn't reach that point anytime soon. My priority would be getting enough level and enough money to buy myself a nice and cheap apartment for sleep. I wouldn't survive simply by sleeping in my car and eating frozen food. It would simply not do.
"Specifically, what?" I asked Lamar back.
"You know, bank robbery, store robbery. That kind of shit," Lamar said.
"Are you really going to talk about that over the bloody fucking phone?" I asked, with a little bit higher tone. Something that I always questioned was how unrealistic the phone system was because I could simply ask for someone to commit murder via the phone, or call a private military company using my phone.
"Dude, relax, the popo will not catch us, trust me," Lamar said over the phone. "Anyway, try to make something out of your sleazy ass," Lamar then suddenly closed the phone.
What the hell was that all about? Sure, that was a phone call, but it was pretty much contextless. Still, I could probably try one of his ideas, which was robbing a grocery store. Sure, it wouldn't give me too much cash, but cash was still cash, there was no doubt about that.
Besides, it might be a good idea to test out the Special Carbine that I just bought. I wouldn't question too much about the law of this world, I had evaded the NOOSE team once, and I could do that again using the tunnel trick.
I opened my IFruit and set the coordinate to the nearest grocery store. I entered my Oracle and drove it to that nearest grocery store which happened to be none other than the grocery store that I visited last night with Lamar.
In GTA:O, if I robbed a grocery store, the shopkeeper changed all the time, that was for sure. So, if this worked the same way, I might be able to rob this store repeatedly without any disadvantage that would eventually come to me.
I exited my car and equipped my Special Carbine. The last time I remembered it, it was only a matter of aiming the rifle at the head of the shopkeeper and shouting to make him give me the money. It should be rather easy.
"GET ON THE FUCKING REGISTER AND GIVE ME THE MONEY!" I shouted as I aimed my carbine rifle at the person. The person immediately raised his hand and grabbed a large plastic bag.
Immediately, the next thing that I noticed was the two-star wanted level that I got from robbing the store. The mini-map started to flash in red and blue due to the wanted level. The police weren't there yet, but he needed to be quick.
☆☆
"EMPTY THE REGISTER QUICKER!" I shot at the wall behind him.
"Please, don't kill me," the shopkeeper put the money faster into the plastic bag.
The cash register threw the bag to the ground and I picked it up. The content of the bag itself was only 3,000$. A small change in comparison to whatever Franklin gave to me for the robbery. Well, time to get the hell out.
