Luna was held in Alexander’s arms. They were like a pair of iron rods locking her tightly.

She took in a deep breath and said patiently, “Can you please let me go first? We can talk after that.”

If it weren’t because he was drunk, she would send him to heaven with one punch.

“No! Just stay here with me.”

He already treated her so nicely, yet she still called him president? He nibbled her earlobe furiously.

“Hiss… Are you a dog?” Luna raised her head and stared at Alexander angrily. “You’re drunk, go to bed!”

Alexander smiled, but that smile didn’t reach his eyes. He said, “What did you call me? Say it one more time?”

Luna said, “…Alexander.”

Why was the drunk Alexander so difficult to deal with!

Alexander wasn’t that happy with it. “I don’t like this one. Switch to another.”

“Switch to what?” Luna asked.

Alexander looked straight into her eyes. “Call me hubby.”

Luna looked at him angrily and said, “We aren’t married yet!”

Alexander breathed in her face, then said, “Wouldn’t you?”

Luna, “???”

How did he end up like a totally different person after being drunk?

“…No!”

After struggling a few more times, Alexander still managed to catch her tightly. She wasn’t sure where his strength came from.

Luna realized that she had no choice. This body was too weak. It was not possible to free herself from him without hurting him.

“Can’t you call me that?” Alexander’s eyes turned even darker as if becoming a black hole that wanted to consume her. “Why won’t you call me that? Because I didn’t give you what you wanted? Hm?”

His voice seemed to be carrying some kind of magic, and she could instantly feel his disappointment and sadness.

For a long while, Alexander did treat her very well.

Fine. It was just a name. No need for her to fight with a drunkard over this.

“Hubby,” Luna called out as if humoring a child. “Can you go to bed now?”

Alexander let out a smile and said, “Alright, accompany me then.”

Luna then cried out, “Alexander White! Don’t you dare get so greedy!”

His charming face had really made her fist become tougher and stronger.

Alexander then moved toward the bed along with her. His voice was so gentle that she felt like melting. “I won’t do anything. Can you just let me hug you? I’m so tired lately…”

“Really?” Luna asked, clearly unconvinced.

He quickly nodded. “I promise you.”

Luna then asked again, “Just this one time?”

Alexander didn’t say anything but buried his head by her neck and smiled quietly.

Luna tried to break free again but noticed that Alexander was far stronger than she had thought.

Once she heard the sound of light snoring from him, she then gave up on struggling.

Oh well. It was already too late. That was it!

“If I don’t leave, can you give me a more comfortable position?”

However, when no one answered her, she simply let out a sigh. It seemed like she was going to stay in that position for one whole night.

The night was long and dark, and Luna tasted what was meant by the word “helplessness” for the first time…

The next morning, Luna woke up when there was some light streaming in.

Her arms were wrapped around Alexander’s waist, her entire figure was in his embrace.

Alexander had already been awake since god knows when and he looked at her with a smile. “Morning.”

Luna suddenly woke up wanting to get out of his hold, but he immediately caught her hands that were still on his waist. “What? You’ve hugged me for a night and you want to run away just like that?”

“No, I didn’t!” Luna looked at Alexander and instantly thought of an excuse. “I just wanted to go to the toilet.”

“Oh, really?” Alexander didn’t trust her at all. “Call me hubby and I’ll let you go.”

“…” Luna heavily suspected that he was never drunk yesterday.

“No? I guess you didn’t want to go so badly anyway. Sleep with me for a little bit longer!” Alexander then pulled her closer to him. “There isn’t much to do in the company today, I can go in the afternoon.”

Luna, “…”

Was he really that free or he’s just saying that so he could take advantage of her?

Seeing that she was no longer talking, he then kissed her lips and asked, “What are you thinking about, hm?”

Luna then said, “I was thinking when you become such a rascal!”

After saying that, Luna stopped talking again. Why the hell did she blurt out what she was thinking?

Alexander let out a soft smile and said, “What? Disappointed?”

Luna gritted her teeth and then said, “Hubby, let me go. I can’t sleep anymore.”

Alexander’s smile became even wider. “Can’t sleep? Then lie with me in bed! I can’t sleep too!”

Luna then said, “Didn’t you say that you’ll let me go if I call you hubby?”

“That was then!” Alexander said. “Have you ever heard of the idiom ‘now or never?'”

Luna was speechless.

D*mned capitalism. One day, she would defeat such a force of evil!

She was forced to lie down in bed together with Alexander until nine in the morning when he finally got a call and reluctantly got up. “I need to go to the company, come with me.”

Luna immediately sat up due to her disbelief. “I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to go with you, right?!”

Alexander stood up and slowly unbuttoned the shirt that he was wearing. “There’s nothing inappropriate about that. Go change!”

Luna nodded and walked out. But the moment that she closed the door, she accidentally saw Alexander’s eight packs for one moment.

Was Alexander’s body that good?

When Mrs. Niles saw Luna walking out of Alexander’s room with her messy hair, she immediately gave her a sincere smile and said, “Madam, you must be tired. Come, I’ve made some chicken soup just for you.”

Luna then said, “Mrs. Niles, it’s not like what you think.”

The moment that she said that, Mrs. Niles smiled even brighter and said, “Don’t be shy, Madam! I understand. There’s nothing to be worried about!”

Luna, “…”

Looking at Mrs. Niles leaving like that, Luna suddenly felt that it was not worth it staying in the mortal world. Not worth it at all.

Once she returned to her bedroom, Luna quickly changed out of her clothes that reeked of alcohol and had a quick hot shower. She changed into some fresh clothes, and only then did she go to the living room.

“When are we leaving?”

Alexander sat on the sofa and glanced at her hair then said, “It’s fine. We can go over after breakfast!”

Although his eyes no longer had the dreamy look from yesterday, his eyes still showed that there were still some of that desire remaining when he looked at her.

She blushed, turned around, and went back to her room.

After they had breakfast, Alexander then drove towards his company together with Luna.

“Is there something happening today? Why are you bringing me over?”

“A friend of mine just came back into the country. He’s waiting for me in the company.”

“Chantelle Clark?”

“No. You know about her?”

“I heard a little about her.”

“Oh? What kind of things did you hear?”

“Nothing much, just things like you two grew up together and stuff like that! Aha…”

“Your laughter is so stiff! What are you worried about?”

“Nothing. Don’t put words in my mouth..”
