When he saw Rick’s arrival, Emmett immediately became aggressive again. “Boss Rick, she’s here to wreck your place! Finish her off!”

That little b*tch! She put so much strength behind her punches. Time to let her know how powerful he was!

“Rick, I’m just here to settle some personal matters. But my ‘little brother’ is really making me disappointed,” Luna pointed at Emmett, who was gritting his teeth on the ground. “If you want any compensation, get it from him.”

Rick played around with the chain of beads in his hand and looked at the room that was completely wrecked. He then slowly showed her three fingers and said, “Three million, and I’ll let you leave.”

Emmett had lost a lot of money here, and he couldn’t even pay for the membership anymore.

He was just worried about how to make him cough up the cash, but he hadn’t expected Luna Brooke to appear here like a lamb to the slaughter.

“Three million?” Melody gasped in shock. “The things here aren’t even worth a hundred thousand!”

Rick didn’t say anything. His eyes were locked on Luna. He was like a wolf that was on the hunt, silently waiting for her answer.

Luna turned around and glanced at the failures behind her, and instantly understood where the three million came from.

She had the cash, true. But she would not be taken advantage of! Oh hell no!

“I heard that… Boss Rick is someone very good at gambling,” Luna raised an eyebrow, as a sly look flashed through her eyes. “Why not play a game with me?”

Everyone in Auburn knew how good Rick was at gambling. Luna was just a young woman that was raised in a sheltered family. There was no way that she could win.

Melody advised her in a whisper, saying, “Luna, it’s fine…”

However, it was as if she didn’t hear it at all. She merely smiled as she looked at Rick.

Rick looked at the young woman, who was timid and nervous. Without Clarence and the others holding her back, she was like a polished diamond, and her light was exceptionally alluring.

“What’s your wager?” Rick said slowly. “If you want to play with me, I’m not keeping you on a tab.”

The meaning behind his words was very simple. He would not allow her to win something with nothing.

Luna took out the black card from her purse with her graceful fingers and said, “Here’s ten million. Is that enough? Am I worthy to play a game with you, Boss Rick?”

“Fine! You, prepare the VIP room on the fifth floor!”

The corner room on the fifth floor was much more lavishly decorated than the rooms on the lower floors. It was obvious that they were prepared for the important guests.

Emmett and the others wanted to see how Luna was going to be humiliated and followed along.

Rick didn’t care about them. After his men had closed the door, he turned around and asked Luna, “What game do you want to play?”

Luna pointed with her fingers and said, “Dice, then! Big and small. Sweet and easy.”

Rick laughed. “Fine! Dice it is.”

While it was something simple, anyone who knew a few techniques could easily manipulate the results.

When the table was ready, a dice cup was given to both of them.

Rick was a man close to his forties. The calluses on his hands were thick.

The dice cup in his hand was spinning around like a nunchaku. The people around him couldn’t even see what was happening until the moment it stopped on the table.

Melody looked at him with shock and asked, “Luna, are you sure you’re going to be alright?”

“I don’t know. But this is all about luck, right?” Luna shook the dice cup in her hand without any particular method and slammed it on the table.

When Emmett saw what she did, he couldn’t help but chuckle.

Anyone could see that Rick had some skills in this. Luna couldn’t win.

“Open!” As soon as the dealer said that, the two dice cups were opened.

As expected, 13 and 6. Rick had won.

Luna was not nervous at all as she said, “Again!”

Each round was only 500,000. They had just started.

“12 and 4, Mr. Muti wins.”

“11 and 7, Mr. Muti wins.”

“14 and 3, Mr. Mutin wins.”

After ten rounds, Luna had only won twice.

Melody couldn’t help but advise her again, “You should stop, Luna.”

If this continued, they would lose all that ten million.

Luna looked at the cup and then glanced at Rick. “Even if we want to leave, it’s too late.”

Rick was someone that loved gambling. He would not let her leave until either one of them lost all their bets, especially when she was the one that started it.

“Open!” The dealer once again looked at the two dice cups. “12 and 3, Mr. Muti wins!”

There was another round of laughter, with Emmett’s being the loudest. “Ahahaha… Rubbish is just rubbish in the end! Ptui! That’s what you get!”

“You are very good, Boss Rick,” Luna said with disappointment on her face. “Should we increase the bet?”

Rick looked at the dice on the table and asked, “You want to double up? That’s fine.”

“All in. Ten million. One final round!” Luna then mumbled, “But three dice are too few, don’t you think? The dice cup is so big, let’s add another two more dice!”

Emmett spat at the side, “You’ll still lose even if you add another hundred dice!”

‘Does she think that she has a better chance of winning by adding a few more dice?’

Melody grabbed at Luna’s arm and said, “Luna, are you crazy! Stop it!”

If she had known this would happen, she would have dragged her away when she wanted to gamble, even if she had to pay that three million!

“It’s fine,” Luna said with a smile. “It can’t get any worse. Not to mention that I even defeated Boss Rick twice! How is it, Boss Rick? Shall we?”

At this time, Rick had already confirmed that the young woman was just someone who had just stepped into society. There was no reason for him not to pluck such low-hanging fruit, right?

“Fine! Take a few more dice! However, you only had six million left on your card. Who’s going to pay for the remaining four million?”

Luna shrugged and said, “I don’t have any left, but I still have my life. I’m willing to break my own finger, how does that sound?”

“Luna, do you know what you’re saying? They… They can do anything,” Melody said anxiously, “Boss Rick, something’s wrong with her head. Please don’t listen to her! I’ll pay for the damages, let’s just stop today, alright?!”

With that, Melody took out a card from her purse as well.

However, Rick didn’t even accept it. He merely said one word, “Fine!”

He hadn’t seen blood for a very long time. This girl had offered herself up as a sacrifice to quench his thirst.

His hands began to dance. When the dice cup landed on the table, even Melody held her breath as she saw the result and muttered, “29…”

Five dice. Four sixes and one five.

Forget about a newbie like Luna, even those who were extremely experienced couldn’t do it.

Luna frowned, her fingers held the dice cup. But as she rolled it, she was so quick that everyone could almost see shadows of it.

Bam!

Rick’s eyes froze. “Ms. Brooke, it’s not a good thing to use too much strength!”

“Who knows!” Luna said as her hand held the dice cup. However, there was no emotion in her voice whatsoever. “I’m just fighting the good fight!”

“Open…”

And when Luna’s hand revealed the dice, everyone in the room gasped in astonishment.

“Thirty! My god! Is that real?!”

“Holy crap! Am I dreaming?!”

“How’s that possible?!”
