Chi Shuyan was standing at a window in the hospital corridor, the tall man next to her. The two looked at each other wordlessly, and neither was the first to speak. The atmosphere was very quiet and a little awkward.
Chi Shuyan felt that she would have rather stayed in Jian Chongying’s ward a little longer just now than hang around outside here in this strange atmosphere.
She wasn’t a taciturn person, but whenever she was in front of this man, she was either embarrassed or didn’t know what to say!
Qi Zhenbai didn’t know what the woman in front of him was thinking. It was the first time he was interacting with a woman he liked, so he was very cautious and afraid that she would be repulsed by him.
Chi Shuyan wondered if she should just open her mouth and talk about how nice the weather was. Or she could go back to the ward, but what reason could she give?
At that moment, the man suddenly said, “If you want to register for marriage, we can do it when we get back to the capital!”
Chi Shuyan stared blankly for a long time without understanding what the man meant. When she did, she stared at the man in front of her as if she had seen a ghost.
Forget the fact that she wasn’t the legal age to marry yet, but even if she was, it wouldn’t be to this man, alright? And were they close? When did she say she wanted to marry him?
Chi Shuyan blurted out her thoughts and Qi Zhenbai was immediately rendered speechless. His originally very handsome face turned even darker. He gritted his teeth and retorted coldly, “We’ve swallowed each other’s saliva; how can we not be close?”
Chi Shuyan was rendered speechless by the shameless man in front of her. He suddenly pinched her chin with his slender fingers and narrowed his long, sharp eyes. He stared at her lips and said, “What? Do you still want to get to know me better?”

The man in front of her gave Chi Shuyan goosebumps all over and she flushed red in embarrassment. “Don’t, don’t… Don’t take things too far!” Afraid that he would take it too far, she quickly found a random excuse. “I have no plans to register for marriage yet, I’m still young!”
Qi Zhenbai narrowed his eyes, his expression unreadable for a moment. His eyes suddenly swept over her chest and he said meaningfully, “You’re not young anymore, we can get engaged first!”
Although Chi Shuyan was young, her figure was very good and she had curves; her bosom, in particular, was far superior to her peers.
Chi Shuyan had memories of her past life and could be considered an adult; she knew what the man meant with his look and that “not small[1] anymore.”
She had experienced a lot, but this was her first time dealing with relationship matters. The man in front of her suddenly declared proudly that she had big breasts. Embarrassed and furious with shame, Chi Shuyan flushed red and had the urge to dig a hole and bury this man. “Get lost!”
“No, I won’t get lost. If I do, I won’t have a wife anymore!” Qi Zhenbai’s lips curled into a light smile. Sunlight shone on the man’s face. It had to be said that he was really good-looking. Even when he was acting like a rogue, he still had a serious and noble appearance.
Without waiting for the woman in front of him to speak, Qi Zhenbai coaxed, “We’re engaged, you can kiss me whenever you want in the future!”
“Not good! Not good! Zhenbai, Sister Shuyan, hurry and take a look at that kid Wang Xuewen, and see what the hell is growing out of that kid’s back!” Zhu Bocheng was so anxious that he was sweating profusely. He thought about how Wang Xuewen had suddenly rolled over the floor in pain. He kept scratching his back until his hands were covered in blood. The others had panicked and pressed Wang Xuewen’s hands down as they tried to take a look at the kid’s back.
Who would have thought that what they saw would scare them so much that they broke out in cold sweat and shuddered in fear: Two strange human faces had suddenly grown out of the kid’s back. The faces even smiled at them, and the smiles were incomparably sinister and strange.
Thinking this, Zhu Bocheng’s hands trembled violently and his face was especially pale. He was even more terrified than when he had entered King Ying’s tomb.
