Yu Shijin remained silent.
He looked at that little girl smugly walking away with her balloon.
With hands still in his pocket, he looked rather coldly at Su Huiqing. He sounded vaguely annoyed. “What, didn’t I recognize the wrong person?”
He was referring to that incident in the private room the other day.
Su Huiqing, “…’”
At this moment, his cell phone rang.
It was Chu Xuning.
Yu Shijin accepted the call and uttered one cold word. “What?”
“Just… just that… just that we have been found out by Bai Yi.” Chu Xuning stammered in fright.
Su Huiqing sighed after realizing Yu Shijin was ignoring her. She turned to leave.
Brushing back the fringe on her forehead, the corners of her lips curled up in their usual relaxed manner.
Never mind if he didn’t want to say. She could check it out herself.
With one hand holding his cell phone to his ear, Yu Shijin reached out his other hand to grab her wrist.
Su Huiqing gazed at him.
“Throw your cell phone into the lake.” Yu Shijin spoke up placidly after making sure that Su Huiqing had stopped. “I have something else to see, so you guys settle things on your own.”
Yu Shijin drove both of them to a nearby restaurant.
It was lunchtime and it was very crowded.
The private room was well heated and Yu Shijin had just taken off his jacket when his cell phone rang.
He glanced at the caller ID before calmly rejecting the call.
Su Huiqing surveyed the dishes and was not surprised that it was all her favorite foods.
A strange feeling welled up inside her.
Actually, from the very first time they worked together, she should have already known something was off.
Especially that first time at that base in Green City. Apart from Yu Shijin, there had never been a person who could coordinate with her so perfectly. Not even Chi Qing.
“Why did you call me Fifteen?” Su Huiqing put down her chopsticks and propped up her chin with her hand.
She was asking in a casual manner.
Not knowing how provocative that word was to Yu Shijin.
His eyes instantly dimmed.
His fingers instinctively reached out for a cigarette. Just as he was about to light it up, he suddenly thought of something and tossed the cigarette onto the table.
“Why, haven’t you already guessed it?” Yu Shijin sat by the window, surveying the scenery outside with cold indifference. Gravely, he turned and asked, “Let me ask you, does Chi Qing know about this code name?”
“What has this got to do with Chi Qing?” Su Huiqing was momentarily taken aback.
Yu Shijin remained stony-faced, his lips slightly pursed.
His arm was still perched on the back of the chair.

Cool, silent, distant.
Until his cell phone rang again.
This time, he accepted the call but just allowed the person to continue calling. The caller was also very persistent.
“Take the call.” Su Huiqing narrowed her eyes.
She felt that unless it was an emergency, no one would dare to keep calling Yu Shijin’s phone in this relentless manner.
Yu Shijin shot her a look. Without another word, he walked out the door to take the call.
“I thought you weren’t going to pick up my call.”
Yu Shijin leaned against the wall and finally lit up his cigarette. He said coolly, “I hadn’t planned to.”
After a moment of stunned silence, the caller spoke up again. “Master Yu, please hurry back. There’s not much time left.”
Yu Shijin was still holding his cigarette.
His face remained impassive, his tone neutral. “I can’t for the time being.”
“You are risking your own life.” The voice sounded more stern now.
“I’ll head back just a few days later. Things are not that serious.” Yu Shijin saw the door to the private room being opened. He extinguished his cigarette and said nonchalantly, “That’s all.”
Su Huiqing truly felt that Yu Shijin was an exasperating person.
It was the first time she met such an opponent.
It was just too difficult to squeeze out an answer for things which he did not wish to say.
She massaged her temples, feeling the onset of a headache.
After leaving the restaurant, Yu Shijin suddenly came to a halt. He placed the keys in her palm. “I have something on. Help me drive my car back.”
Su Huiqing didn’t refuse him and wrapped her fingers tightly around the keys. She fell into deep thought as she drove off in his car.
Yu Shijin watched the black car steer off before turning to walk in the other direction.
Not far off, Chi Qing was leaning against the hood of a car. All alone, he cut a lonely figure.
Even his wide sunglasses failed to mask his extraordinary good looks.
Normally placid and affable, Chi Qing looked unusually cold and aloof.
Even though he was a talented superstar actor, he could not mask his own emotions.
“You will leave tomorrow.” Yu Shijin glanced at the neon lights shining upon them. He adjusted his coat, his tone mild. “I have already had someone make the arrangements.”
Those same words again.
Chi Qing’s face turned chilly.
He looked up at Yu Shijin. Hidden behind those sunglasses, his eyes were very grim.
His two hands were wound into tight fists.
He did not want to leave at all. “What if I refuse to go?”
“You are in no position to negotiate with me. Chi Qing, remember that she has already died once.” Yu Shijin didn’t turn around, but a malevolent smile played at the corners of his lips.
Chi Qing’s eyes wavered. He involuntarily took a step back, his face completely drained of color.
Yu Shijin tilted his head, his eyes deep and profound. “Do you think I will let you guys cause her death a second time?”
