Chapter 206: Where Is She?

The call was disconnected, but Chi Qing remained frozen in his position.

His blood had turned cold.

Since returning to Unknown Island, he never imagined that Su Huiqing would ever say something like that to him.

There’s no need for them to meet again in future.

At the very beginning, they were the only two people in the mercenary regiment. They had grown up together and experienced so much side by side, including countless near-death situations.

But Chi Qing had never felt as chilled as he was now.

He knew she still trusted him, but she had personally chased him out of the mercenary regiment.

Chi Yue also heard her words. He slowly took back the cell phone from Chi Qing’s hands.

“You have to get out.” Chi Yue felt that his voice was still relatively calm.

Chi Qing turned, his eyes were totally bloodshot. “Tell me where she is!”

“Chief detective told me you returned to Unknown Island the very day you left the training grounds.” Chi Yue just gazed placidly at him. “But it took half a month for you to appear. Tell me, where did you go during that time?”

Chi Qing was stunned. He pursed his lips and kept silent.

Chi Yue didn’t hesitate but just swung a fist into Chi Qing’s face.

Chi Qing didn’t retaliate but just ducked. He spat out some blood. “After you finish hitting me, tell me where she is.”

Following that, the cold hard barrel of a gun was pressed right against his temple.

“Chi Qing.” Chi Yue was holding the gun, his expression unusually distant. “I don’t wish to kill you.”

Chi Qing lifted his eyes and wiped off the blood at the side of his lips. He said calmly, “Chi Yue, you are no match for me.”

“Even if you can dodge my bullet, can you dodge all of theirs?” Chi Yue asked.

The room door was kicked open and a whole team of people charged in, all wielding particle beam guns. They aimed their guns straight at Chi Qing.

Chi Qing’s heart fell when he saw these people. He clenched his fists. “You guys… do you really want to be a part of this?”

They were all his comrades who had fought by his side in the past.

He never imagined they would ever point their guns at him.

Chi Yue showed no signs of retreat. The corners of his lips curled up coldly. “Are you disappointed? That’s good. At least you can experience a tiny bit of how the captain feels right now.”

She even said that there would be no Assassin God in future.

Chi Yue knew very well how disappointed she must be to say something like that.

Some things didn’t need to be spoken out loud to be understood.

Su Huiqing clearly knew what she was doing.

She sat in front of the computer and opened the secured email sent by Chi Yue. She read through it carefully.

The light from the screen reflected against her face, giving it an eerie glow.

Sometime later, she finally closed her laptop.

She picked up her jacket and threw it on, before heading downstairs.

“Ms Su, where are you going?” Uncle Chen was bringing a carton of milk up for her. He glanced at her in surprise.

Su Huiqing paused. She tucked one hand into her pocket while accepting the milk with the other. She gulped it down and continued out the door. “I am going out to do something. Don’t tell my mother. She has to wake up early tomorrow morning.”

Empress Su followed her with graceful steps.

20 minutes later.

“Infiltrating the laboratory in the middle of the night… that’s not very proper of you?” Principal Dien pulled down his face mask and looked at Su Huiqing with querying eyes.

It was no surprise that he recognized her. He already noted her previously in Green City for her calm and determination. Besides, her performance during training at the university had been exceptional.

Su Huiqing patted Empress Su on the head, who jumped down from her arms, as light as a leaf.

Principal Dien looked at the fox, his murky eyes narrowing.

“Principal Dien, I came looking for you for two things.” Su Huiqing raised a tube in her hand and glanced at the principal. She smiled sweetly. “Number one, I need you to help me keep something safe.”

She placed the tube of virus on the table.

“Number two.” Su Huiqing lowered her eyes and fingered the silver wire in her hands. “The four of us need to take two weeks’ leave.”

She meant Qu Yan and gang.

Principal Dien stared at Su Huiqing suspiciously. “School has just started, and you are requesting so many days of leave? What are you guys doing?”

“We are going to Country H.” Su Huiqing didn’t try to hide the fact from the principal.

“Wait, wait, wait.” Principal Dien knew what happened in Country H. He glanced at Su Huiqing. “There are many major powers involved in that incident. You better not drag Monster University into that mess. If you end up offending anyone of those powers…”

Su Huiqing raised her hand and flung the silver wire outward, piercing right through the wall behind Principal Dien. She smiled obediently. “Principal, you trust that I won’t make trouble for you, right?”

Principal Dien. “…”

It was three days later when Yu Shijin finally knew that Chi Qing had been kicked out of the Rapid Fire Mercenary Regiment.

He was standing in front of that lamp when he heard the chief detective’s voice. He lifted his eyes. “Chi Qing has left Unknown Island?”

At this moment, even the chief detective had no idea what Yu Shijin was thinking.

Chief detective could see turmoil in those deep eyes of his, but had no idea what was causing it.

“This was three days ago.” Chief detective spoke clearly.

From that time when Yu Shijin dragged Chi Qing out of Green City, he already knew that his boss was highly interested in Chi Qing’s movements.

He had hesitated for a long while after receiving this news, before finally telling Yu Shijin about it.

It will be a full year soon.

Chief detective knew that at this time, the boss’ health would be deteriorating again.

He had discussed the matter with Chu Xuning and the gang before finally coming here to inform the boss.

Yu Shijin leaned against the bookcase, his handsome face turning a little pale. He glanced at the lamp. “Prepare the car, we are going to the Su Corporation.”

“But…” Chief detective didn’t want to object.

They had already decided to go to the training grounds to recuperate. But now they were suddenly heading out again.

Chief detective already doubted his decision to inform the boss of this matter.

Yu Shijin glanced at the chief detective and said coldly. “Prepare the car.”

Half an hour later.

The car came to a stop below the Su Corporation building.

Yu Shijin put on his coat and stepped out of the car, and immediately noticed the group of people gathered at the lobby.

He paused and glanced in that direction.

A man in a checkered shirt and a cigarette between his lips was standing at the head of the group. He looked scornfully at Su Zhi, Xie Zhengyuan and the rest. “I heard that your Ms Su is a great beauty. Alright, my man was injured, but if you give her to me, I will pretend the incident never happened. In future…”

“Say that again?” A low, calm voice sounded out from behind.

The smoking man turned and saw Yu Shijin.

He sized up Yu Shijin but didn’t recognize him. As a result, he assumed he must be a newcomer like the people from the Su Corporation. He said scornfully, “Tsk, how dare you interfere…”

Before he could finish his sentence, Yu Shijin had sent him flying away with a kick.

Yu Shijin stepped on his face with his black army boots, his eyes were vicious. “Repeat what you said again?”

“Don’t you know I am Master Chen?!” The face of the checkered shirt man was full of malevolence.

Yu Shijin glanced at him, calmly. “Who told you to come to the Su Corporation?”

Master Chen’s eyes flashed. “Just wait until my men arrive!”

Yu Shijin didn’t want to waste anymore words on him. He turned toward the chief detective. “Inform the International Police. Lock him up forever.”

Master Chen snorted. “The International Police are my good friends. Just you wait and see.”

10 minutes later, the captain of the International Police flew in on a helicopter.

Under Master Chen’s disbelieving eyes, the captain immediately handcuffed him.

The captain never expected Master Yu to raise such a ruckus over such a small-time scum.

“You should thank our boss.” Chief detective patted the captain on the shoulder, before pointing in the direction of the Su Family. “Do you know what that bunch of lunatics are holding in their hands?”

The captain looked at the Su Family. His body went numb.

“Particle beam guns. You have seen them before in Apollo’s hands, right?” Chief detective patted him on the shoulder again. “Every single one of the Su Family people are lunatics. If you hadn’t arrived in time, they would have opened fire and destroyed everything. Do you believe me?”

Of course, he believed him. How could he not?!

The captain’s footsteps faltered when he suddenly recalled a rumor swirling about the International Association. Someone had used particle beam guns against the Dugu Family.

After the police left, Yu Shijin adjusted his collar and looked at Su Zhi and the gang. “Where is Su Huiqing?”

Those deep, profound eyes were full of complicated emotions.

It had been three days.

He had given her more than enough time to consider.

Since she didn’t come looking for him, he would have to personally seek an answer from her.
