The triplets were already used to this hand-washing routine. They did not fight or argue with each other. Besides the one washing the hands, the other two would wait by the side, pushing and kissing each other, laughing happily.
After Qiao Nan finished washing their hands until they were clean and nice-smelling, Da Bao and Er Bao did not need Qiao Nan to hold their hands. They would run out first to let the auntie carry them to their respective high stool chairs and wait for their meal.
On the contrary, the most impatient San Bao would insist Qiao Nan hold her hands and sit beside her so that she could feed her.
In the blink of an eye, it was almost the end of the year.
In fact, Qiao Nan had almost completed her studies. She had passed all her thesis and stuff. She had also obtained enough credits for her studies.
If not for the sake of taking care of the triplets, having to spend a great deal of time and effort, given Qiao Nan’s ability, she could have graduated with a double degree in flying colors.
However, as a mother, the happiness and achievement of watching her children grow up healthily every day, from carrying in the arms to becoming little monkeys who ran all around, were much more important than a graduation certificate.
“San Bao, does auntie look good wearing this?” It was the end of the year and nearing the marriage day between Zhai Hua and Tian Dong. Qiao Nan and the triplets were keeping Zhai Hua company while the latter chose her bridal gown and tea ceremony dress.
“Are you sure about wearing a white bridal gown?” Qiao Nan looked at Zhai Hua’s back view. She felt that this was a little difficult.
Unlike western ladies, Asian ladies were not typically tall. However, nothing was absolute. Zhai Hua was taller than most ladies. It was not too much to describe her as a tower amongst the crowd. Even if she was in the army, it was hard to drown Zhai Hua under normal circumstances given such height of hers.
Each time she looked at how tall Zhai Hua was, Qiao Nan could not help feeling happy and glad for Zhai Hua that Tian Dong, who was marrying her, was even taller.
Precisely due to this, a bridal gown that typical ladies found too long actually seemed a little too short on Zhai Hua. At a glance, Qiao Nan was afraid that Zhai Hua would reveal the ankles, let alone the shoes.
However, at the sight of Zhai Hua looking so happy, Qiao Nan knew that Zhai Hua very much wished to wear a pure white bridal gown during her wedding.
Following Qiao Nan’s line of sight, Zhai Hua lowered her head and laughed as she looked at her instep. “Given this height of mine, it won’t fit me very well unless it is custom-made.” Since a young age, her height was above average. After puberty, any man of the average height would look like a dwarf before her.
After encountering more of such situations, Zhai Hua had completely taken this in stride.

“San Bao, is it pretty?” Zhai Hua lifted the hem of her skirt and turned one round in front of San Bao. San Bao was the only girl among the triplets. Hence, Zhai Hua felt that San Bao could understand her own feelings most. Certainly, San Bao had higher appreciation standards than Da Bao and Er Bao.
True enough, San Bao blinked her eyes, held on to Qiao Nan’s hands, and shouted for her mother in a sweet and delicate voice. That tone was so sweet that one could make candy floss from it.
Qiao Nan pinched her little daughter’s face. “Do you want to wear it too?” San Bao was so young and was already so vain.
San Bao’s little face nudged Qiao Nan’s knees and she kept shouting ‘mom’.
Fine, she did not say anything else. If Qiao Nan could not understand what her daughter meant, Qiao Nan could not call herself a mother. Hence, Qiao Nan looked for the store assistant and sought her help to find a small gown for San Bao to wear.
Of course, when San Bao received something, Da Bao and Er Bao would as well. San Bao had a little wedding gown while Da Bao and Er Bao naturally wore tuxedos. While looking at these items, Qiao Nan did not feel the least burdened. One had to know that all of Zhai Sheng’s money was with her.
Watching helplessly as Qiao Nan brought the three children into the changing room, Zhai Hua blinked her eyes in disbelief. “Am I or the triplets getting married?” Shouldn’t they help her confirm the bridal gown first?
When San Bao shyly and obediently allowed her mother to hold her hands and came out in her little gown, her face as red as a little apple, all of Zhai Hua’s grievances vanished. She was too adorable. Zhai Hua could not care less about her slightly tight-fitting dress. She squatted down, wanting to carry San Bao. “Oh, my goodness! Such a beautiful child. Whose family is she from? San Bao, can you let auntie give you a kiss?”
San Bao laughed and refused to let Zhai Hua kiss her. She ran behind her mother and peeped at Zhai Hua from behind.
San Bao was not the only one who was as cute and beautiful as little gremlins. After changing to the little tuxedos, Da Bao and Er Bao were both adorable and suave, looking very much like gentlemen.
However, most of the usual clothes that Qiao Nan prepared for the triplets were comfortable ones. This was the first time that Da Bao and Er Bao wore little tuxedos. They were thus not very used to wearing them. They kept twisting their necks as if the collar was prickling them and making them feel uncomfortable.
“No one can be compared to these three children of our family, indeed.” Zhai Hua said proudly. She sounded as if she was the one who gave birth to them.
Besides Zhai Hua, the store assistants in the wedding gown shop were also smitten by the triplets’ adorable manners. “These three babies are so cute. Are they of the same age? Triplets?” The store assistant heard that their names were Da Bao, Er Bao, and San Bao. Hence, she made a guess.
The three children did not completely look alike. Nevertheless, there was a great resemblance between them. At one glance, one could tell that they were deeply related by blood.
“They are so beautiful. Can you let me take some photographs of them?” Photographers were always present in a wedding shop. When a good photographer sighted good photography targets, that excited look was not any less than that of a veteran wine lover who finally encountered a fifty-year-old good wine.
These were such adorable children. The photographer was so tempted. He very much wanted to capture the lively and lovely mannerism of these three children and could not wait to let the whole world know that such adorable children existed in China.
“Sure…” Zhai Hua agreed. The triplets were so good-looking. There was nothing bad to take a few more photographs to keep them as memoirs. When they grew up, she could take them out for the triplets to see how they looked like when they were young.
