Leo silently cursed himself while he was passed out.

If he simply refused to do this mission it would've had a much better outcome, he might've been locked up for a month or so but it would be better than his current situation.

For all he knew he might never see the light of day again.

Leo hoped that they would also not be able to restore the phone, he smashed it into numerous fragments and hopefully permanently damaged it.

He was still regretting that he allowed Doc to live, if he killed her he might not have had to face all the trouble he had to face today.

At the same time, it was not like the foundation would give up that easily, if they were willing to pay a multi-million fee to "contract" him then a lack of information would probably not stop them.

Leo also knew that he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, preparing an appropriate containment cell along with transporting him to the containment site would take a while, they would keep him sedated in the meantime until they would be fully ready.

Leo also considered lying and telling them that he was a normal human, but he already knew that wouldn't work.

To start with simply extracting Leo's blood would allow them to see that he was an anomaly, and it was something they would surely do.

Furthermore, if they decided to x-ray Leo then they would also probably find something interesting.

Lastly, Leo knew that pretending to be human would only come back to bite him in the ass, even if they believed him humans were treated way more cruelly by the foundation.

If they captured any personnel of value then they would be interrogated for all of their information, once they serve no more purpose they would either be used as class D or terminated.

If they got lucky and had a lot of combat experience they would be placed in MTF sigma-66, sixteen tons.

It was a mobile task force that consisted of captured GOI members that had value in combat.

However, the chances of getting chosen were slim, and even if you were chosen it certainly wasn't pleasant.

They were mostly used on suicide missions, after all.

Leo already started pondering on how he would escape containment.

On his own he lacked the power to, his best bet was either waiting for an attack on the facility or by killing a researcher and shapeshifting into him, using his credentials to escape the facility.

The first option largely depended on where he was contained, if it was another high-security containment site like the one under the rocky mountains then the chances would be pretty much zero for an assault to happen.

The chances of MC&D saving him also largely depended on where he was contained, they saw him as an investment after all.

If they had to dispense a lot of troops to save Leo, which they didn't have, then he probably wouldn't be saved.

The rewards Leo would get for escaping were quite enticing as well.

Getting 5/8th of Nadox's seal would remove him 2 away from actually completing it, meaning he would get a massive power boost.

Sogrith's reward also was quite hefty, unlimited shapeshifting slots would mean he no longer had to worry about maxing them.

However, getting Ion's reward also required extra effort.

Information about other sarkic groups of interests would most likely be locked behind level four clearance, he either had to kill another assistant director or higher or he would not be able to complete the mission.

Leo thought about some other things but he already found himself becoming conscious again.

Little did Leo know that over fifteen hours had already passed.

When Leo woke up he found himself in an armored sterile white room.

The room appeared to be 20 by 20 meters.

There was one armored door leading into the containment cell and there was a window next to the door.

Surprisingly, the window wasn't one-sided and a researcher could be sitting at a desk on the opposite side of the glass.

The moment Leo got up the researcher started noting things down.
