Chapter 79: Transport: Tunnel Ambush (3)

Leo was quickly closing in on the operatives and he had only been noticed just now.

The reason that Leo knew that he was noticed was quite simple.

He could hear the impacts of the bullets on the riot shield.

 

 

 

He was almost in the perfect range to use his MAC-10, he steadily moved forward.

When he felt like he was close enough he quickly pressed the red button.

Two standards popped out from the shield, resulting on it being able to stand on its own.

 

 

 

Leo took a quick look through the glass pane and saw that the three operatives that were taking shelter behind the dodge had moved to the other side to take cover from Leo's potential attack.

The other operatives were covering them from Artemis' and Pirate's attack, however they were still in a quite dire situation.

One of the agents behind the dodge peeked his head over to see what Leo was doing.

 

 

 

In the next second Leo heard a loud thud behind him quickly followed by the operative that was peeking falling to the ground, bleeding from the head.

"Fuck! Fuck! There is a sniper at the tunnel entrance! Helios is down! Keep an eye on that riot shield shit as well!" heard Leo coming from behind the dodge.

Leo could not help but smirk upon hearing this.

 

 

 

"Zelus! Come help us out!" yelled an operative behind the dodge.

An armored agent stepped out of cover behind the bearcat and quickly made his way to the dodge to support the two agents left behind it.

Leo quickly took out his radio.

 

 

 

"Nightmare to Crawler, you think you can take out the armored agent?"

"Crawler to Nightmare, if an opportunity presents itself, sure."

Leo sighed before pressing the red button on the riot shield again.

 

 

 

He started making his way closer to the dodge again but he was quickly stopped.

He fell under a rain of gunfire, making the hand that was holding the shield numb.

Leo quickly redeployed the shield.

 

 

 

He took out his MAC-10 and blindly fired his entire magazine towards the dodge RAM.

He didn't expect to his anyone, but he hoped that one of them would peak for a second too long and get dunked by Crawler.

However, Leo suddenly got a pretty decent idea.

 

 

 

he felt around for a while before pulling out one of the vials of acid out of his holster.

He threw it towards the dodge, making sure that it went above the operatives seeking cover.

Leo quickly peeked out above the riot shield and shot his entire magazine towards the vial of acid.

One of the bullets hit the vial and acid got shot out all around the operatives.

 

 

 

Leo waited for a second before he heard a loud scream of agony.

"MY EYE! IT GOT IN MY FUCKING EYE!"

 

 

 

Leo quickly took out his radio.

"Night to Crawler! I am pushing in! Keep my covered!

Leo knew that the vial would for sure not be enough to take out the operatives, it only created an opening for him to push in and do the job himself.

 

 

 

He was about 50 meters away from the dodge.

Leo started sprinting as fast as he could towards the vehicle, but halfway through he saw a head pop out behind it, ready to fire upon him.

However, once again a loud thud was heard and Leo saw a hole appear in the man's head before he dropped down.

 

 

 

Two operatives were left behind the dodge ram, and soon there would be zero.

Leo dove over the top of the dodge and transformed his arm into a long sword.

He saw an operative sitting on his knees clutching an injured eye with his hand.

He looked up at Leo in fear and shock.

 

 

 

Leo's dive lined up with the place where he was kneeling and Leo slit his sword arm right through his face, resulting in it coming out from the other side.

The other eye of the operative was still stuck on the point of the sword, crushed.

The last operative that was left at the dodge looked toward Leo in fear.

 

 

 

A maniacal smile could be seen on Leo's face right as he looked towards the other operative, the lifeless corpse of the agent he just killed was still dangling on his sword arm.
