Chapter 94: Hostage

Carissa's guards were quite well armed for silent combat, the guard sitting next to her quickly pulled out a taser and instantly shot the agent sitting next to Noah.

Noah was still able to duck behind the couch and get to cover but it already meant that the tide of the battle was against them.

However, Leo would soon balance it out again.

 

 

 

One guard turned around to face Leo and pulled out a nightstick, he was sure that he would have Leo since he didn't pull out a weapon yet.

The guard pushed up on Leo and swung at his face, he was sure it would be a direct hit.

However, things turned out differently.

 

 

 

Right as the guard struck Leo's suit ripped around his arm as it transformed into a sharp blade.

Leo quickly struck down at the guard's hand, severing it from the rest of his arm.

Before the guard could scream out in pain Leo transformed his other arm and stabbed it right above the guard's nose.

 

 

 

Leo knew exactly what he was doing and the guard dropped dead in an instant without any further resistance.

Leo obliterated the guard's brainstem.

The brainstem is the part of the brain that connects it with the spinal cord, it controls a lot of crucial functions such as respiratory and cardiac functions but most importantly neural functions.

This was something that Leo learned from Kevin, snipers are trained to hit the brainstem as it results in instant death.

 

 

 

As the guard's body hit the ground Carissa got alert, this was not how she planned things would go.

However, it was a small loss, with one agent incapacitated and one guard dead the tides were even.

Noah's agent pulled out a knife and prepared to challenge the guy who shot the taser.

 

 

 

Leo knew that he would have to take the other guard and already approached him.

The other guard was slightly frightened as he saw what Leo did but he steeled his nerves, panicking now would only result in certain death for him.

He also pulled out a knife but Leo didn't give him a chance to prepare and immediately struck.

 

 

 

He transformed his arm into a mace-like form and struck it down on the guard.

The guard deflected the hit but Leo followed it up by going in for a slash with his other arm.

The guard also deflected it but Leo still grazed the guard's leg, resulting in him bleeding.

The guard quickly counterattacked but Leo was borderline impossible to hit.

The guard was getting frustrated, Leo didn't leave any major openings and the small openings he left would result in the hit being parried.

 

 

 

The guard was getting way more cuts on his arms and legs, his right arm was trembling.

He was slowly losing conscience and Leo knew that as well.

This fight was an endurance match, and Leo knew that well.

 

 

 

However as the saying goes a wounded animal is the most dangerous.

Leo was letting his guard down and the guard decided to make his final move, it was all or nothing.

He went for a leg sweep on Leo and it connected!

He quickly went for a stab to the heart on Leo, he didn't even know if Leo had one but it was all or nothing.

All of the sudden the guard got a bad feeling about it.

 

 

 

Leo was smirking as he went for the stab and the guard's vision suddenly started tumbling.

The hit didn't connect and the guard tried to stand up just to be surprised in utter horror.

Leo's leg turned into a blade and there were two pair of feet without a body standing on the floor.

 

 

 

The guard quickly passed out and Leo turned towards the other agent just to see him finish the last guard with a brutal stab to the chest.

Carissa started backing up and pulled out her handgun.

"Stay the hell away or that stupid robot of yours will get destroyed Noah! My men have her in a remote location and can destroy it at any moment when I give them the word!"

Noah's eyes were filled as he muttered three words.
