Chapter 96: Let’s make a deal, shall we?

Murdering her own brother was not the only disturbing thing she had done, there were countless of other situations where she did something morally corrupt.

Usually, Leo would find it quite disturbing but after all the horrible things he had done so far this kind of eased him, it made sure that his call to murder her was not for nothing.

 

 

 

Leo found out a number of interesting things but he was mostly here for two things.

First of all Alyona's location and second of all the place where Carissa stashed her money and anomalous items.

This was not the first time that Carissa had done something similar to this, she had done it multiple times.

 

 

 

"Bingo." thought Leo.

The memory flashed by quickly but it was clear enough for Leo.

Under one of Carissa's houses was a bunker built where she kept most of her money and anomalous items.

The amount of anomalous items she had was nothing compared to what Noah had, she had five items max.

However, considering the amount Noah would make from one SCP alone it would still amount to a hefty sum.

 

 

 

When it came to cash there was not a lot, there were some bars of gold and what appeared to be a couple million in cash.

Through some more memories Leo learned that Carissa had most of her money spread over the world on various banks, making it borderline unreachable for Leo.

 

 

Carissa's accomplishments were still quite amazing, she had practically built an underground empire out of the small funding she had.

Seeing how far she had come made Leo wonder about Noah's story.

Noah never really talked about his history or his main occupation, Leo wondered how he got introduced to the world of anomalies.

 

 

 

Carissa had a lot of interesting memories but also a lot of boring ones.

One day she would give the order to kill someone meanwhile the next day she would be attending business meetings.

Finally, Leo got the memory he was waiting for.

 

 

Carissa was watching a camera feed that displayed a very similar speedboat, it was getting surrounded by multiple agents before a young woman got pulled out.

Leo instantly recognized her but continued to focus on the camera feed.

 

 

The woman did not fight back at all, much to Leo's surprise.

The woman got transported to a building close to Malbork, Leo recognized it since he passed it on his way to Malbork himself.

 

 

 

She got tied up and there were two people guarding the room she was locked up in.

Next came up a really important memory for Leo.

Carissa had established a password with one of her guards in case she had to bargain Alyona for her life.

Normally it would've worked, but now that Leo was here it was not of much use.

 

 

 

"Interesting choice of password..." thought Leo.

The memories started slowing down once again and Leo soon reached the point where he killed Carissa.

Leo stood up while taking a big gasp of air before taking a look around the room.

One of Noah's agents was treating the agent that got tased.

 

 

 

Noah was sitting on the couch again with one hand on his cheek, it appeared that he was deep in thought.

All attention was focused on Leo got up, the agents didn't know if they were supposed to intervene since Leo suddenly took on the form of Carissa.

The agents looked at Noah for guidance.

Noah simple waved his hand at the agents, signalling that it was alright.

 

 

 

The suit that Leo was originally wearing was almost entirely ripped up, luckily his chest and his undergarments were still covered.

Leo didn't look presentable at all, yet he took a seat at the other couch before looking toward Noah.

 

 

"Noah, I am about to offer you the deal of a lifetime!" said Leo.

Noah was slightly surprised when he heard Carissa's voice once again but the surprise soon disappeared as he realized it was Leo.

"What is it?" asked Noah in a depressed tone."

 

 

 

"I am able to exactly tell you where Alyona is and I can ensure that you will be able to retrieve her without any problems, I also know where Carissa's safehouse is located and I can ensure you that it currently contains 5 anomalies and a bunch of money along with gold, all that I ask from you for this wonderful deal is the fourteen million dollars that you would originally earn!"
