Shi Qing was kissed until his mind went blank. His eyes were glistening, and it took a long time for him to finally regain his senses.
Then, he shouted in pleasant surprise, “Qin Mo?” Qin Mo regained his memories?! That’s right! The task was completed, so it was time for him to regain his memories.
Qin Mo held him and landed another peck on his rosy lips, dissatisfied, and whispered, “Yeah, it’s me.”
Shi Qing was enveloped by a great burst of joy. He looked at Qin Mo with a pleasant curve in his eyes, and the corners of his lips were rising up uncontrollably. He couldn’t help wanting to smile.
Qin Mo still had Qi Zimo’s appearance. He had the looks of a young teen. He was not as calm as he usually was, but he was sharper now, which served to add onto the gorgeous beauty of his delicate face.
He stared at Shi Qing and his eyes fell unconsciously to his lips. Then, he lowered his head again, kissing him with even greater force. He parted his lips and his tongue entered through that track, as if he could never get enough of that. That charming taste, the intoxicating feeling, the sweetness was rousing up the desires within the deepest recesses of his heart.
Shi Qing did not resist in the slightest. He circled both his hands around Qin Mo’s neck. Craning his neck, he responded to his kiss clumsily, but sincerely. When you were requested of something, you would also learn to do the same.
After their lingering kiss ended, both of them were slightly out of breath.
When it came to this, Shi Qing felt embarrassed instead… When he faced Qin lil’ Mo, he could still stay calm; but when he really faced Qin Mo, a thousand points of tension came flooding into his mind.
Especially when he remembered what he did before.
Even though it seemed like Qi Zimo had taken the initiative in all their interactions, he didn’t have Qin Mo’s memories at the time. Wouldn’t it make people think that he took the initiative to get closer? Especially with how young Qi Zimo was, and he even promised to marry him or whatnot…
Would it still work now if he said he was just coaxing a small child?
Would he be killed…QAQ.
While he was still caught up in those thoughts, his responsibility as a system came, and gave him a chance to escape just in time.
“Triggering the secondary task, repair the damaged judgement space and life space.”
Shi Qing’s eyes lit up. There were actually sub missions!
Since he had read through handbook-kun before, Shi Qing was very clear about the various tasks, and the secondary task was different from a supporting task. Supporting tasks had to be completed before the main task, while the secondary tasks could also be called the follow-up tasks, and were triggered after the completion of a main task.
The trigger conditions were unknown, but it was like a normal task, completely based on luck.
Even though the rewards of secondary tasks weren’t as impressive as random tasks, it was still a good way to earn points!
After its successful completion, the number of points they could get was beyond imagination!
Shi Qing had just recently been forced into bankruptcy, but getting a secondary task now, things could not be better.
Of course, there was something else that made Shi Qing very pleased. With a secondary task, they could continue staying in this world a little while longer. Even though the main task was complete, they had pretty much messed up the world.
If they left just like that, then even if Qi Zimo and Xia Nuo got together after that, what awaited them was just a huge mess.
Qi Zimo was an extreme badass, and managed to become the public enemy of the world in just five years. Even if Xia Nuo survived, he had already done what he had done, and his mental illness had also been activated. Whether they’d be able to live a good life in the future was still uncertain.
All of that was caused by he and Qin Mo. After messing things up, Shi Qing’s heart felt uneasy.
Regardless of the great rewards they could get from secondary tasks, even without them, as long as he had the opportunity to fix things, he’d definitely take the opportunity.
After sending the task prompt to Qin Mo, Shi Qing also explained the details of the secondary task.
Qin Mo did not hesitate to accept the task.
Shi Qing breathed a sigh of relief. He immediately turned back to look seriously at the mission objectives, and asked subconsciously, “What’s the judgement space and life space?”
Qin Mo’s line of sight suddenly moved away from a certain someone’s mouth. When he heard Shi Qing’s question, he asked in turn, “Can Xia Nuo’s dimension be entered?”
Shi Qing was slightly stunned, and he tried to enter it. He realized that he couldn’t get in!
Qin Mo spoke further, “Qi Zimo’s dimension is also damaged.”
So to say, the judgement space and life space referred to their respective dimensions? And they’ll be able to complete the task by fixing them?
In that regard, the task seemed very difficult, fixing a dimension and whatnot. Shi Qing, as someone who had gone through the entire library, could tell you for sure that nothing of the sort has ever been recorded.
He had never heard of any dimensions being damaged, so there’s no way for anyone to know how to fix them.
It seemed like a task without a clue, but for Shi Qing and Qin Mo, it was not hard at all.
After all, they had a save point!
As early as when Shi Qing had just met Qin Mo, he had guided Qi Zimo to make a save. Before that he couldn’t contact Qin Mo, so he couldn’t reload at the save point, but now…they could load it!
The damage to Xia Nuo’s dimension was definitely from his death, and the damage to Qi Zimo’s dimension might’ve been the pent-up guilt from those five years…
As long as they could avoid all of that, as long as none of that ever happened, then their dimensions naturally would not be ruined!
With that, wouldn’t they easily be able to clear the mission objective?
Not only could they complete their task, but they could also change their lives and truly give them a good ending.
Thinking up to that point, Shi Qing was overjoyed. He looked towards Qin Mo excitedly, “Load the file!”
Qin Mo smiled, “Alright.”
Time turned back, and the cycle of the moon and sun turned backwards as well.
The two returned to five years prior, when Qi Zimo had just met Xia Nuo.
After seeing Father and Mother Nuo again, as well as their little buddy Yan Qi who was still alive and kicking, Shi Qing’s face was nearly filled with tears.
After Xia Nuo’s death, both Father and Mother Nuo had received a great shock. Even though they had always been watched over by Qi Zimo, they still lost their only son. The unbearable stress that resulted caused their hair to whiten instantly.
When he saw them again, Shi Qing could only feel his heart well up with emotions…he couldn’t help but think that if he could be born again, and return to Father and Mother Qing’s side…Thinking up to that point, he shook his head. It’s better not to be too greedy.
During dinner, nobody knew what came over Shi Qing, but he kept helping to distribute the side dishes that were gathered at the center of the table. Father and Mother Nuo were very surprised, but they still accepted wholeheartedly.
Naturally, they would be happy if their son was filial.
Qin Mo was watching that whole scene. Since he had Qi Zimo’s memories, and even lived five years as him, he didn’t feel too out of place after transmigrating here into the body of an eleven year old child.
Coupled with the fact that Qi Zimo had ripened extremely early in the first place, his calm and quiet character was just like Qin Mo’s, so there were no flaws with it.
Shi Qing was excited for the whole night, and his heart was still thumping when it was time for bed.
However, he wasn’t being excited about Father and Mother Nuo anymore, and was instead excited about Qin lil’ Mo.
He never thought he could see Qin lil’ Mo again, hehehe, this was great!
And it was the real Qin lil’ Mo, the Qin lil’ Mo with his memories!
But…then he couldn’t be pleased anymore, because even though Qin lil’ Mo’s body was small, he wasn’t the pure, kind, obedient, and cute little Qi Zimo any longer.
Qin Mo held him and said, “Don’t go to school, starting from tomorrow.”
Shi Qing, “…” Even Qi Zimo let him go to school, he just asked him to stay in the Qi residence during the night!
“What’s wrong? You want to go?”
Shi Qing muttered, “Well…Xia Nuo has always wanted to be a teacher. If I don’t go to school, and don’t take the exam, I won’t be able to stay in school.”
“Being a teacher? For what?
“Well…for…uh…”
“Don’t worry, Xia Nuo will have a better life, and a more fulfilling one, he won’t have time to stay in school.”
Shi Qing, “…” That didn’t sound right.
Qin Mo held him, and landed a kiss on his fair neck, “Shi Qing, you promised me you’d stay by my side.”
Great, the genuine brand mental illness patient is here. As expected, his freedom fluttered away just like that.
Even though Qi Zimo was also a strange child at eleven, Shi Qing was still able to coax him.
However, when it came to his eleven year old mentally ill host, he could only be coaxed.
After putting away the problem of going to school for now, Shi Qing began to worry again, “Even though we loaded the save point, Xia Nuo’s dimension is still considered damaged. Also, Qi Zimo’s dimension still hasn’t activated, so we still have to activate it successfully before we can complete the task.”
Everything that happened before was all during Qi Zimo’s dimension assessment. So to say, there were a lot of things they had to avoid, and with that, they wouldn’t have to repeat the same mistakes, and go down the same road.
While he was thinking seriously about the first step they should take, Qin Mo said softly, “Go to sleep, it’s fine now, I’m here.”
Shi Qing was slightly stunned, but following that, his eyes curved into a smile. That’s right, Qin Mo was back.
With him there, nothing was a problem.
Even though he was scared of him at first, his heart would only feel steady now, and he couldn’t be any more at ease.
Thinking about that, a deep sense of languor washed over him. After being unable to rest well for five years, he finally found a resting harbor, and fell asleep with much ease and peace.
Qin Mo only opened his eyes when he saw that Shi Qing had fallen asleep. He lightly pulled out his arm, and carefully covered him with a blanket before getting off the bed. After that he left the room, heading to the door at the side.
“Yan Qi.”
Yan Qi slept late, and when he heard Qi Zimo’s call at this time, he got out of bed immediately and said respectfully, “Young master.”
Qin Mo looked at him, and said, “Follow me.”
Yan Qi didn’t know what he wanted to do, but he followed him out of the house.
The Xia family residence was located in a civilian area where housing prices were not low, and the occupation was sparse. Both Father and Mother Nuo could be considered well-off families, so they also had a small yard behind their house. At that moment, Qi Zimo and Yan Qi were standing right in that yard.
After the five-year campaign from before, though Qi Zimo had used his power excessively, which impacted his dimension greatly, he was still a genius with high comprehensive ability. He spontaneously found a safe and effective way to use his dimension’s power.
Yan Qi’s dimension carried the power of wind. Qi Zimo knew his dimension like the back of his hand, so guiding him now was very easy.
When he heard Qi Zimo’s words, Yan Qi was confused at first, but then he saw the whirlwind gradually forming in his palm. The ensuing ripples in his heart were like the waves in the ocean, surging and tumbling.
Yan Qi had never thought that he had such a powerful force.
The author has something to say:
The host has returned, so the task will be a breeze all the way to the end!
I told my editor yesterday, “I want to write ABO in the next world, I want to write brothers, I want to write smuttt!”
Editor, “Be good, I don’t have the time to bring you food in prison.”
Me: “QAQ”
Well, I finally finished the arduous task of repairing all my broken links. So binge away. Also, I did a re-read of Screen Partner and re-edited it. Some of those early chapters were baaaad. But, I love the story as much as ever.
I can’t decide what’s a bigger golden finger: being a system, being Qin Mo, or being able to turn back time.
