Thunder Clouds Sect - Sect Outskirts

"I won't be going with you back to the Capital, My Prince. I have business to attend to with Heavenly Thunder Sect," Elder Zeng said.

"I see.," Feng Cai nodded. "You know I am quite surprised that you aren't dragging me with you, Elder Zeng"

"My objectives regarding your majesty's conduct in official situations have already been met. Besides, you have your own business to attend to," Elder Zeng said, clearly mentioning their residing God-Kin and all the problems that could come with her simple existence. After all, all rival powers would attempt to kill when - not if - they discovered the truth regarding her bloodline, that or kidnap her, any method that would deprive the Sacred Heaven Empire from having such a powerful and promising asset.

"When you arrive in the Capital, go to your Father or Mother as fast as you can. They must know the truth first before anyone else," Elder Zeng said through word transmission that he did so, clearly highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

Still, Feng Cai was a bit confused. "Elder Zeng, you didn't send a message to them?"

"No, this is too important for a simple message that could be intercepted. Word of mouth from a trustful and reliable source is much more trustful in my mind"

Feng Cai nodded and spoke using his actual voice, "I will talk to them"

Elder Zeng nodded before taking off from the floating vessel and heading to the domain of the Heavenly Thunder Sect. Feng Cai what would be their fate when Elder Zeng arrived, but it certainly woundn't be pretty, after all even without taking the account that this a universe that runs on Xianxia rules, even back on Earth Kings and Emperors did many things to unruly vassals, to scare the others into submission by giving out an example what would happen to those that dared to rebel.

"My Prince, can this one ask a question?" The clear voice of his silent feminine companion brought him off his muses.

"You may" He also wanted to say that she didn't have to sound so formal around him, but they were not that close - at least for now, he was pretty sure he would be ordered to have at least a courteous relationship with Xue Lihua, not that he would any encouragement, as he was already planning to do that, anyway.

"How does the Capital look like?"

Feng Cai thought a little before saying, "Well, I can certainly say that it is quite the sight. Cultivators from all parts of the Sacred Heaven Empire come to cultivate there, or to buy things from the various markets,"

Xue Lihua nodded. "Is it true that all the buildings are made of gold?"

"No, it's just wood and stone." Really, that tale was ridiculous. Gold was not even a great construction material, it just served for decorations and nothing more.

They continued to talk about all sort things, Xue Lihua was hungry for knowledge about the Imperial Capital and Academy, which makes sense after all she is going to live and cultivate there from now on. So Feng Cai explained how things worked, well, at least the public ones at least, there were things in the underbelly of both the city and the academy that he didn't know, mostly because he never bothered as searching for those things is just asking for trouble.

As he continued to talk with Xue Lihua, Feng Cai starting thinking how the Heavenly Thunder Sect was handling Elder Zeng's visits.

Meanwhile - The Heavenly Thunder Sect

"YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!!!"

Zou Weisheng, the sect master of the Heavenly Thunder Sect, was not having a great day- no, scratch that, he wasn't having a great century. First, his son returns, not victorious like he had expected, but defeated and humiliated by his rival, the boy who had somehow survived an assassination sponsored by the Nine Demons Assassin Hall!

Second, the 'oath' made by his son to the entire Thunder Clouds Sect, that his own sect would not interfere with any of the matters of the Thunder Clouds Sect, which he begrudgingly accepted mostly because he had his own sense of honor, that if you made an oath, you should not break or fail to uphold it.

Officially, of course, there was no way he wouldn't try to mess with the Thunder Clouds Sect's business. He and his sect would just be not so obvious about it. But whatever good mood he could have had with those future actions were instantly ruined when he learned that a group of elders of his own sect went behind his back to realize a plan that he had denied to be put into progress, because he knew it was doomed to failure, no matter what they did.

But the same group of elders went behind his back and did it, anyway!

"Sect Master please, if you would just hear what we have to say-" One elder, that he didn't even bother trying to remember name, tried to explain his groups actions, but honestly Zou Weisheng was too pissed off to hear whatever they had to say.

"NO! I won't hear any excuse you all have to say, because I can clearly see that all of they are as idiotic as you!" Zou Weisheng shouted at them, his aura causing all to cower before him, after all the strongest of them was not even entering the True Immortal Realm, while he was already in the peak.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down. It didn't work, but it certainly helped him grab his wits again. "Do all of you know what you just did!? You altered the amount of resources the Thunder Clouds Sect send to the capital!" Honestly, it was a very, very, dumb idea which brings to mind how the assembled Elders in front of him thought it was going to work, and not get one of the two Imperial Legions sent to exterminate all of them from the face of creation.

Before one elder could speak and be promptly silenced by Zou Weisheng, every single cultivator that lived in the Sect felt an enormous presence descend upon their home. It easily surpassed Weisheng's own power by leagues and suppressed all of them instantly.

But just before he could upon the ancient formation that was built by their founder (Not that it would have helped anyway), he saw him. Standing, or rather floating, upon the center of the room just above the kneeling and white faced Elders was one of the most terrifying beings in the entire Sacred Heaven Empire. Zeng Xiang The Blood Brother of The Old Heavenly Emperor.

But that wasn't why he is considered being so dangerous, but what he single handily did during the Year of A Billion Rebellions. It is said that Zeng Xiang killed every single rebel leader, some of which were already in the Heavenly Immortal Realm, while still in the True Immortal Realm. And counting the difference between both realms, it was impressive, as it was dreadful.

The event happened roughly five centuries ago, and while to mortals that was very long, to cultivators that can easily live for hundreds of years it was a short time, which is why many don't want to anger him especially the ones that saw him in action those dreadful days.

And as the old monster locked gazes with him, all Zou Weisheng could whimper and hope that this wasn't the day that would herald the destruction of his Sect.

Imperial Capital City - Royal Port

"Home sweet home" Feng Cai said, a warm smile spread across his face as he watched the distant buildings that encompassed the beating heart of the Sacred Heaven Empire.

Xue Lihua was beside him, watching the near endless rows of buildings with silent awe, because truthfully, the capital was utterly massive. Feng Cai once saw a detailed map of the Capital and he couldn't help but notice how big it all was, having enough infrastructure to cover an entire planet - Of the mortal realm, according to the books he read at least - the Capital is sprawling Metropolis having been built roughly in the beginning of the current era, and been expanded over the coming myriad amount of centuries.

But he had matters to attend to, and they concerned his company. "Xue Lihua, go to the Imperial Academy and show this to them and say that you were sent there by me to become a disciple of the Imperial Academy," He said, tossing an Imperial Token reserved only for direct members of the Royal Clan, which Xue Lihua easily caught.

"What if they don't believe it?" Xue Lihua said, sounding doubtful.

"Don't worry, I got it covered" Feng Cai said, while sending a mental conversation to two of the Silver Tigers, asking them to guide Xue Lihua to the Imperial Academy and deal with any problems that could arise. Instantly, from his perspective, at least - two bright silver warriors appeared beside Xue Lihua.

The latter was previously about to ask how she got to the Imperial Academy in the first place, as this was her first time in the capital, but seeing the two silver clad immortal warriors beside her, she didn't voice her thoughts, as she correctly guessed that Feng Cai had asked them to guide her to the Academy.

With that, she left with her two escorts, leaving Feng Cai alone. Well, not truthfully, as he had many cohorts of the Silver Tigers constantly watching for any danger to his person. The Capital was dangerous even for princes after all.

But he didn't focus on that. No, what he focused on was the conversation he would have to deal with his parents, as he walked towards the Imperial Palace.
