Chapter 29: Chapter 29. Luck

 

The wind blade itself, touching its target and flying past, cut off several bushes and trees, after which it settled down, leaving nothing behind. 

 

 With a newfound confidence, Kuzu was about to move on the enemy again, when he suddenly saw that Ramero rushed to the side where another "battle" was taking place.  Frowning, the boy moved to cut him.

 

Moving forward, Romero glared at the painting in the distance.  He saw how the two children easily blocked any attempts by Heruo to attack or escape.  Due to the abundance of blows inflicted on him, the young man was already barely standing on his feet, and a trickle of blood was flowing from his mouth. 

 

 This picture made Romero's heart shrink in pain and hatred for the Hyuga clan.  When a dozen meters remained to the exhausted Heruo, the man heard a whistling sound and dodged to the side, letting a couple of kunai pass by him. 

 

But as soon as they flew a little forward, Romero saw explosive marks burning with flames on them.  Which a moment later jerked, forcing the man to roll a little back. 

 

 Removing his hands folded in front of his head, bringing the sound of approach to his ears from behind and realizing who it was, Ramero turned around and struck again with a windy blade. 

 

Approaching the man, Kuzu, clenching his jaw from the pain he was experiencing in his side, repeated a mantra to himself.  With every passing moment, an inseparable thought formed in his head in the necessary victory.  Occasionally, these thoughts were interrupted by nasty phrases for him, which spoke of his uselessness, weakness and lack of talent, which stimulated him even more. 

 

Lost in thought, Kuzu did not pay attention to the changing surroundings, which it immediately informed the boy about.  When he was almost at a distance suitable for an attack, a strange situation occurred and, stumbling, Kuzu squinted, almost falling. 

 

At that moment, a compressed stream of wind flew off the blade of Romero's katana, which flew over the boy without harming him and cutting off only a clump of hair.  Seeing this, the man who was already thinking that he would finally get rid of the persecution of the boy, cursed to himself.  Turning around, he was about to move on, when immediately, he had to fend off the Kunai who had flown in.

Seeing that the leader of the bandits was approaching, Samato gave a sign to Satoshi standing next to him, distracted from the battle with Heruo and focused on the aggressive man.  He saw how Hiko and the rest of the Hyugas watching the fight had entered his view and were watching everything closely at the moment. 

 

 At the moment when the man turned around and concentrated his chakra and struck the wind blade on the Kuzu, the older Hyugas were ready to move to help.

But to their surprise and annoyance, Samato, Kuzu by luck, escaped this tragic event.  Sighing to himself, the scientist took out a pack of kunai and threw them at Romero, trying to slow down his approach, giving the lucky guy a chance.  After that, he returned again to "help" Satoshi.

 Romero, having beaten off the kunai that had arrived, was about to move on when he felt a blow in the back.  Fortunately, the force behind the blow was small and the man immediately turned around on the spot, hitting the attacker. 

 

On the other hand, Kuzu immediately after the blow landed, crouched down, avoiding the katana flying over him and resting his hand on the ground, kicked, trying to knock the man to the ground. 

 

 Romerno reacted instantly and slowing down the momentum of the katana, jumped up.  In the air, he raised his katana horizontally and hit the bottom.

Who was on the ground, Kuzu, whose breathing was already quite intermittent, felt tightness in the movement of the hand on which he rested.  And unable to withstand the strain, he fell, rolling a little to the side.

  

At that moment, a compressed stream of wind broke from the katana blade, a meter long, which, due to the short distance, immediately hit the ground, creating a small trench and only slightly touching the Kuzu.  The eyes of Romero, who saw this, twitched.

- Don't make me disappointed in your intelligence, or did Kuzu infect you? -  Hearing such harsh words directed at him, the boy frowned.  Meanwhile, Samato continued his speech.   – If we can push Romero to the edge, he may take rash actions that will allow us to take advantage of this. 

 

 Irritated by the first phrase, Satoshi, without thinking too much about the expediency of what was said immediately, nodded in agreement.  Seeing this, Samato was internally satisfied and reached out and took out a scroll from his hip. 

 

Under Satoshi's gaze, he printed out a pack of explosive seals from it, which he immediately handed over to the boy.  After that, directing his gaze at the young man who was staggering, but continued to stand in a fighting stance, he said.

 

 - Now let's catch our target.      

 

 - Ah, I see.
