Gene taped the tips of her fingers with a tight bandage and moved them again, better. Slowly she touched the string of her bow attached an arrow and drew it, concentrating any kind of moment.

Her heard pounding she waited patiently moving with soundless steps.

The rustling of leaves alarmed her, and she let the arrow fly, hitting nothing but emptyness.
Frustrated she put another arrow on her bowstring and drew, anticipating, patiently, slowly like a hunter waiting for its prey. Her eyes narrowed as a gust of wind trouseld her shoulder-length white hair and another small target shot far closer out of the trees. She saw the small glitter of metal in the red evening sun from the corner of her eyes and heated the sound of it cutting through the air and moved, jumping backwards and letting loose her arrow.

Her attacker clad in black avoided the shot midair as she tried to move closer to her. Gene clicked her tongue and put quite a bit of Chakra in her fingers, filling her bowstring with it and letting loose another ice arrow supported by the wind and forcing her opponent to draw her two Tanto and cut right through it.
She moved to the right avoiding the fatal strike now that she was near but was neatly pinned where she was standing by a well thrown Kunai.

"You are too slow." Tsukikos black hair swayed in the wind and a smile lit up her pale face that was beginning to show her mothers' beauty. Underneath her long black lashes a pair of equally dark obsidian eyes glittered with mischief.

The black Kimono like coat she wore reached down her ankles, on its edges were slightly crooked turtles embroidered. Tsukiko put the Tanto back into the sheaths she wore attached to a leather belt. She jumped down from the tree branch and landed soundlessly on the soft forest ground.

"Once your opponent gets close, you are screwed without freezing them."

"Why do you think I practice with you." Gene shouted down and followed her friend, pulling out the Kunai that pinned her. "I wouldn't want my behind getting handed to me every single day if it wasn't necessary."

"I know." Tsukiko unwrapped a strawberry flavored Lollipop and put it into her mouth. "But it will be a problem one day. You basically need to make a one hit kill with your bow, or you will find yourself in a pinch without revealing your Kekkei Genkai. There won't always be someone having your back."

Gene knew she was right, so she simply shut up and accompanied her friend back to the main entrance of Konoha. The gatekeeper knowing them waved them through as they jumped over the rooftops of Konoha the bustling people underneath them.

The laughter of children, the voices of people, the smell of dinner, it all reached up here. There was a pulsating mass of life and people underneath them. Standing on one of the high electricity masts, she stared down. Tsukiko was next to her on a rooftop. "Sometimes I really feel the difference when looking down like that." Gene muttered.

"We are from another World, Genevieve, we cannot change it, we should be thankful for the second chance. Anyway I am heading Home, Mother said something about a special extra super-duper dinner and I want to annoy Kakashi."

"You love going on his nerves far too much." Gene said and giggled while Tsukiko shrug uncaring her shoulders throwing her hands with fitting theatrics into the air.

"What am I supposed to do. Better him being annoyed at me than drowning in depression and survivors guilt when we first met. Right my Kakashi-nii-san" She glanced to her right and Gene almost fell from her mast as she saw a huffing in annoyance Kakashi trow Tsukiko over his shoulder and drag away her away while she waved a grinning goodbye.

The heavy gate leading to the inside of the secluded Clan Compound of the Uchiha opened itself and walking through the uncommonly many Shinobi, she wondered what was going on. Nearly every single one of the Clan's Shinobi was running around, even some whose faces she had never seen and whom most likely were mostly on away missions. Stopping one of the more familiar faces, she looked up at him. "What is going on?" She asked and only earned a shrug off his shoulders.
"I don't know, Fukagu-san suddenly summoned every single member of the Uchiha to appear immediately." He said before storming of.

Huh, what is going on?

Hurrying, Gene ran to her room and put away her training equipment before leaving and running back. She walked up the few hundred meters until reaching the main meeting hall. Never having actually been inside it, she couldn't help but gasp at the sheer size and mass of people present.

Hundreds of People had come, woman, children, civilians, workers for the clan, servants literally everyone who was closely related to the Uchiha even babies were present. The oldest and most important members were sitting right at the front where Fukagu-sama who was not here yet would be taking his seat, right next to his wife who was already sitting there whispering sweet nothing's to her baby Sasuke. Itachi was right up in front not far from her together with Shisui who was also sitting in the first line. She waved quickly to him before taking her seat at the back not far from the warm fire place together along others of the younger members.
Some of them greeted her while others eyed her with skepticism, being counted in the lines of an Uchiha Shinobi while not being related to them still had quite a few tempers flaring and left many unsatisfied inside the clan, especially once they had figured out that she originally was from the land of waters. Gene was just happy no one of them had figured out or guessed jet that she used quite a famous Kekkei Genkai like Ice.
She didn't even want to imagine how many tempers would have flared then.

The Door in front opened and Fukagu stepped inside with a grave expression on his face. Every member of the Clan stood up for greeting him, the light of the candles in their surroundings flickering.

"Everyone, I have an announcement of utmost importance to make." He said and sat down followed by everyone else.
