Chapter 91: II Chapter 46 – Jinchuuriki Training

Ichiraku Ramen came closer at lightning speed, and she landed in front of it on a newly repaired and good-looking street with a sign and rolled her shoulders, the new Ramen Store with its brand-new front also looked really great.

"Gene.", she was hugged from behind in a vice. 

Yes, Kushina is already here. 

"Kushina." she greeted and was grinned at. 

"Ramen?", Kushina asked, and Gene nodded. "Nothing goes over Ramen in the morning.", she added, and Kushina was in full agreement as they walked inside the store. "Ichiraku-san." They greeted and Ichiraku suddenly smiled over both ears. 

"My best costumers, Kushina-sama and I should call you Yuki-sama now Gene?", he asked and Gene shook her head. "Anything but that, did the rumors go that far already?", she asked while Ichiraku made his noodles, extra for them since he wasn't open jet, actually. 

"Oh sure they did, it is not every day a new Clan joins Konoha or has a future Head that is a Jinchuuriki." He said. "It is actually the topic right now, along with the fact that Kushina-san has been announcing in an official decree from the Hokage office on how cute little Naruto is." 

"He is THE CUTEST!" Kushina announced openly and loudly before she hogged the first Ramen bowl all to herself. Gene claimed the second bowl and digged in the delicate Miso on her tongue. Signing in relief, this was the best. 

"So Kushina where does the Jinchuuriki training start?". She asked and Kushina that had a mouth full of Noodles. 

She said something incomprehensible and shallowed down her noodles. "We start by you having a conversation with the Kyuubi.", she said, and Gene blinked. 

"A Conversation?"

"Ah, you might believe the Kyuubi is a powerful animal from all you heard, but that is wrong." Kushina said. "It is a thinking, talking, sentiment, and is equal existence that is sealed inside a person and for better or worse I even understand him that he is not happy being a prisoner, no one would after being imprisoned for that long." 

"Alright, and how do I talk to him?" She asked and Kushina shrugged her shoulders. 

"That's the issue, we can force communication, but doing it naturally is more useful." Kushina explained moving her chopsticks. "The first thing you need to do for that is find a way to enter your own soul.  Meditation is the most common way to do that, and that's what we will start off." 

"Meditation?" 

"Yes, and not to sit still and do nothing kind of meditation." She said, smiling, and finished her Ramen bowl. 

Hastily, Gene finished hers too. 

"Now let's go to the practice place." She said and the two of them, the two of them moved to one of the training ground. 

"Now, how do I meditate?" She asked and Kushina smiled at her. 

"First, we empty your Chakra Reserves." She said and Gene looked at her a bit startled. 

"I never completely emptied them, I collapse before that happens." 

"I know." Kushina put on a glove. "It's a protection mechanism, one every Person has, but we are going to be a bit brutal." 

Gene stepped back. 

"Kushina I am no...why do I have the feeling this is more your way than the proper ONE! HEY!"" Gene jumped aside as Kushina rushed at her, and she narrowly avoided a fist. 

"Now let's do this." Kushina smiled. 

"What does Meditation have to do with me emptying my Chakra stores." She asked and avoided another strike. 

"Everything. Now come at me." Kushina laughed out and Gene moved her hands. 

In that case. 

[Water Style: Fountain] 

[Ice Style: Freeze]

By freezing the ground it became slippery and Kushina had to keep working with her chakra to get a firm stand. 

[Wind Style: not so gentle breeze] 

Opening her mouth, she blew out a bit of air that formed into a vicious steam of wind towards Kushina. Taking an arrow from her bow, she shot it and started her count. The arrow hit home, pouncing a giant hole into the ground. 

Seven. 

I should have packet more than those. 

Avoiding a strike from Kushina she shifted position and catapulted herself into air moving freely as she created small Ice spheres in air using them as catapults, cutting corners and getting a small agility advantage. 

Kushina made a few hand signs, and suddenly Gene thought she was seeing double. 

What the....

Throwing a Kunai covered in wind Chakra, it went right through the body, and she moved away with caution. 

Suddenly, the figure vanished into thin air, and she felt how something caught her ankle. Looking down, she saw a chain and cursed. The Chain acted up and threw her aside. 

[Ice Style: Guard] she moved her fingers and guarder her body with a wall of ice, but rolled over the ground and groaned when hitting the floor. 

She really is serious about that. 

Moving her fingers, she made a few more hand signs. 

[Water Style: Vanishing]

Vanished from plain sight, she put another arrow on her bow. 

Six 

Observing Kushina she grinned and grew her bow, filling it in Chakra. Feeling the thrum of power in her fingers, she let her arrow loose. It fired the arrow filled with pure Chakra flew towards Kushina who grinned, and a thin chain coiled around the arrow, and it fell to the ground completely harmless. 

"Good." Kushina said, and she was feeling a bit duped. 

Well, now that is...surprising. 

She filled the other arrows with ample amount of Chakra and fired it. Kushina just did the same again, and an area of water filled her surroundings. Water that moved as she wanted it to. 

Holy, and they say I have piles Chakra. 

She thought and moved further. Slightly tilted her path and stopped. 

Time to take out the big guns. 

She moved his fingers and hissed as she messed up and needed to start again a full two minutes. 

Her arm was covered in Chakra as she used her two biggest Jutsu simultaneously. It thrummed through the air, making a slight whistling sound. It ramped up again and again, and she smiled.  

Let's see how she deals with this. 

Filled with Chakra she moved in her invisible state above Kushina an Ice block to her advantage, she felt the cloth rip on her left arm. 

[Ice Style: Blizzard]

She aimed down and it went off tilter. Swaying to her left, the ice and snow filled storm froze everything in its wake, but missed Kushina. The entire left side of the training grounds was frozen solid and a frozen Ice hell as an ample amount of snowflakes danced to the ground.
