Chapter 94: II Chapter 49 – Lessons Uzumaki Style

Now it was final, Kushina was a devil incarnate, running another lap around the training ground Gene felt as if her feet were a single hurting entity. 
The weights made her legs feel as if they were iron blocks, her shoulders hurt and her arms were logs, she had no idea what Kushina put in those weights, but it sure hurt, and it was heavy. 

Chakra control my ass, this categorizes as torture. 

Continuing to drag herself further, she cursed every star that came to her mind and continued circling her Chakra to keep going, according to Kushina she was spilling it all over the place since becoming a Jinchuuriki and this was the perfect way to improve it. Tuskiko laughed off her ass while watching her drag herself further before getting called into a meeting a few hours ago, and she wanted to just collapse on the ground, but Kushina had told her she would need all the physical strength she needed to compensate the increase of natural Chakra caused by being the Jinchuuriki of the Yin half of the Kyuubi. 

To make things worse, she had to have a conversation with that ass of a nine-tailed fox on a regular basis and still hadn't gotten his name, instead they just spend time ignoring each other, she had started to play chess in her own soul world out of boredom and was not a single step closer to the person who caused Seiyu in coma nor the ominous third in my Soul World, she didn't know what was supposed to bother her more, it bothered her all. 

The only upside is that Izayoi seems to become a management whiz, and for all that matters the kids are settling in well.

She ran another round and continued cursing internally. 

"You can stop now!", it came from behind and Gene almost collapsed in relief but somehow kept herself standing relieved it was just over, finally over. "We start with the second exercise, for that Minato is coming here, he will be teaching you something that might be helpful to you." 

"The flying thunder?" She asked, the Jutsu was simply practical, and she still hadn't figured out how it worked, it was the same for body flickers, everyone got them, but she ended up screwing them every... single ...time. It was frustrating. 

"Nope, not that, it is called the Rasengan.", behind her Minato said, "I doubt you will complete it, but the training will prove useful for you in chakra control." 

"Never heard of that, how is it done?"

Minato threw her a water ball and Gene caught it, noticing she was still wearing those weights. She wanted to take them off when Kushina made a refusing sound. 

"Nope, keep them.", she stated. "You will need to make your body stronger, you hold the Yin half of the Kyuubi, that gives your already natural inclination towards using a pure Ninjutsu and overpower them with Chakra style of fighting a boost, but your physical body needs to be capable of keeping up, and since you are not a baby like Naruto, that means training, training and training again." 

"Kushina." 

"Don't Kushina me, I am serious."

Shutting her mouth, she kept silent and stared at the water ball. "Then.", turning to Minato. "What am I supposed to do with that?" pointing at the water ball, she tilted her head. 

"This."

The water ball flattened in his hands, and she stared at it, perplexed. 

What?

"You are a clever girl, try to do that, and then we talk.", Minato vanished with a flying thunder, and she blinked not knowing what now, was he serious about that?

"Minato!!, Gene thundered in anger, "Back here! I have something for you!"

Minato reappeared and since he was leaving her hanging on a mysterious Jutsu she would do just the same to him. She handed him a stack of paper from her storage seal and smiled. "Leaving it all to you.", she stated, and Mianto took it skeptically. "I am certain, if you won't find the funds for that, Tsukiko will. Now you may vanish." 

Minato turned pale before he vanished.

"Best of luck.", Gene called after him, and Kushina next to her seemed a bit lost. 

Pressed flat, now how am I going to pull that off, maybe by air compression from above and below. 

Trying it out, it flattened, but it didn't look right. 

No, that isn't it ... perhaps rotation, flattening the water as if in a whirlpool.

She waited and waited trying to rotate the water but didn't succeed, instead the water moved around in the strangest of ways and the ball promptly exploded.

Now I need a new water ball, this Rasengan is hopefully worth it, well probably is since it's Minatos Jutsu.

"Here.", Kushina handed her a bucket filled to the brim with water balls. "Take those, the rest is up to you, since you already figured out the core point before I explained it to you." 

"Wait, there would have been an explanation?"

"Yeah, technically, bye.", with that Kushina also made her way and left Gene to her bucket full of water balls. Bothered by the sight, she put it into her storage Seal before stretching and noticing how heavy her entire body felt. Looking at her weights, she suppressed the urge to take them off. 

I am going to have the mother of all muscle aches tomorrow. But it's worth it if I get stronger in exchange, complaining won't solve anything, power is in the end the only thing recognized and skill the only thing acknowledged. Maybe Tsukiko was right, starting to think like that maybe I really was made for this entire Shinobi, Mission, Battle thing.

What did she say? You are a Bernaude, you and your family are born for battle it is in your veins, generations over generations all the way back to the Middle Ages, your people have done nothing else but head into battle, be it with swords, guns or now chakra, it's destiny. 

Climbing over the fence, she mobilized her Chakra to jump on a rooftop and stood there with a sign when the roof underneath her feet started creaking. 

You have got to be kidding me.

In a hurry, she jumped away and saw the roof underneath her feet collapse. 

KUSHINA! How heavy are those weights?!

She stumbled to the ground. 

It seems I have to walk properly on the ground. 

With an, I cannot change it style of acceptance, she started to walk picking her next stops to be at the hospital to visit Seiyu, like every day and then back home to Izayoi and the kids.
