When the massive front claw crashed in front of Qin Yu, it seemed to have lost all its powers. It was as if its energy had been continuously depleted as it broke through layers of invisible shield. Its speed grew slower.
Qin Yu dodged it comfortably, and when his figure reappeared, he was on top of Chengshan Crab and he threw a blow at the vague enchanting demon figure.
Charm Demon snickered. Her laughter was alluring, as if a real figure had been broken and reformed.
“Why must you be so fierce? Everyone on this ferry will definitely die here. However, you are an exception. As long as you are willing to go through the demon energy infusion ceremony and become a part of the Demon Clan, I promise that you will be able to survive. Moreover, every day will be better than now.”
Qin Yu was expressionless as he threw out a punch. Charm Demon broke before reforming again.
“This is your last chance, are you really not considering? In this world, isn’t it the same whether you are a human or demon? There is no need to consider so much. Surviving is the most important thing.”
Qin Yu frowned.
Charm Demon’s voice was getting more and more alluring. It was as if she held a little brush over his heart and was softly brushing it.
“Consider carefully. Will you choose to survive and live a happy life in the Demon Clan or die with them? This is not your fault. You don’t have to settle the bill for someone else’s mistake. Let go of the longing and join the Demon Clan.”
Qin Yu suddenly said, “Found you.”
He threw out a punch.
Bom –
Charm Demon’s body broke as she cried out miserably. Her charming and alluring voice turned into one that was filled with disbelief and hatred, “Go, kill him!”
Her figure reformed once again but it was more vague than before. It was obvious that Qin Yu’s punch had hurt her.
Chengshan Crab roared angrily as his fat body rushed towards Qin Yu. Qin Yu looked calm as he pressed down.
“Suppress!”
It was as if an invisible mountain had descended and was pressing heavily on his body. Chengshan Crab roared continuously and suddenly seemed to struggle to move. This was the frightening part about the small world. When in it, it was like one’s own world where everything could be controlled by one’s thoughts. One could easily change the strength of the world.
And the bigger the range of the small world, the more stable and stronger it was, the greater the power that it contained.
Wind Demon opened her arms and her body disappeared. A moment later, the green demon wind picked up again.
Fire Demon’s eyes grew more and more red as if they were lava boiling deep underground.
A sea of fire appeared in the air and grew intense as the wind fueled it. Two of the top three major demons were joining hands. Their might was horrifying.
With the demon wind fuelling the demon fire, it formed a huge round fire dome, covering the entire port and going against the power of the small world. The pressure that Chengshan Crab was withstanding was instantly reduced and he moved faster as he dashed towards Qin Yu.
After Charm Demon’s figure dissipated and turned into a pink mist that went into Chengshan Crab’s nostrils, Chengshan Crab was now behaving crazier.
Qin Yu frowned. He had no choice but to fight directly against Chengshan Crab. Chengshan Crab did not feel pain and did not fear death; his attacks were crazy and violent. Very soon, Qin Yu looked tired as he faced Chengshan Crab’s attacks.
And with the fire dome that Wind and Fire Demon had joined hands to set up, occasionally there would be sneak attacks from demon winds with flames. The situation was starting to look precarious for Qin Yu.
With the pressure on the ferry greatly reduced, Deng Haibo flew into the air and said in a deep voice, “Everyone, if we don’t work together today, once this fellow cultivator falls, we will all die.
“Those ranked below the Ruler realm, please join hands to maintain the formation on the ship. Those that are of the Ruler rank and above, please follow me to attack our enemies and help this fellow cultivator.”
On the brink of death, no one thought about arguing. No matter how cowardly they were, they knew that Deng Haibo was right.
The more they were afraid of death, the more they could not back off. Otherwise, they would really die.
The cultivators that were still alive on the ferry helped to stabilize the formation that had broken. With Deng Haibo in the lead, four other Rulers rushed off the ferry.
“Fellow cultivator, we are here to help you!”
In Bull Bean’s yard, her face paled as she saw what was happening outside the ship. She could not help but tremble. She knew what the demon soul meant to the demon clan. Though her cultivation level was not high, she was born in a good family and knew these kinds of things.
So ever since she saw what happened in the sky above the demon city and hear the cries of the demons, Bull Bean knew that there would be no peaceful way to settle this.
Even if she let her status be known, those from the Demon Clan would still not let her off…otherwise these demons from the Demon Clan would die. If not, why would all the major demons rush out of the demon city and head for the port with such murderous intents?
Demon soul backlash!
With Qin Yu taking action, the situation was temporarily stabilized, but the fear in Bull Bean’s heart did not reduce at all. She looked at the mist above her head and could not help but shake in fear.
Her ancestor once told her about Breaking Heaven Mountain. The demon clans that were located here had average prowess. Even if the Demon Clan risked everything and awakened the old demon that was lying asleep beneath the ground, it was just another small trouble. What was hidden in the mist was the real danger. It contained an ancient person that had lived for a long long time and her ancestor told her to be careful.
From Bull Bean’s understanding of the Old Ancestor, the ancient person must be extremely powerful for her proud and haughty ancestor to give such a judgement.
Qin Yu would not be able to hold him back!

Bull Bean could not help but look at Rourou. However, she could not bring herself to say anything before Rourou looked back at her. Bull Bean did not know why she was so afraid of Rourou.
Shu Huan took a deep breath, “Both of you go and help.”
“Miss.” The servant girl behind her looked anxious.
Shu Huan spoke in a low voice, “Go now!”
“Yes Miss!”
The two people beside Shu Huan spoke respectfully as they flew off the ferry. The truth was that they had wanted to help when they heard Deng Haibo speak.
However, their mission was to protect the lady, and before they received any orders, they could not make the decisions themselves.
Young Yuan Hu suddenly ran in from outside. His cultivation was too low and he could not help much even with maintaining the formation. Now he was following two astounding array masters and trying to fix the formation. He was just doing some errands.
“Miss, the stall owners are here.” Behind him were the young couple who fried the rice cakes and their baby.
As they entered the residence, the both of them fell to the ground with a ‘plop’, “Miss, the both of us do not dare to ask for much with the current situation. We just wish that if possible, you can save this child.”
Tears were streaming down the couple’s face, “He is only four months old and has yet to see this world. Please Miss!”
Bull Bean could not help it even though she knew she herself was in trouble as well, “Don’t worry, I…I will try my best to help you all…”
However, when she said this, she lacked confidence and did not sound assuring.
The wife held the baby and kissed it multiple times before placing it reluctantly on the ground. She then kowtowed heavily, “We do not dare to ask for more. You saved our lives and we just hope that you can help save this child. Thank you Miss!”
The couple kowtowed heavily before turning to leave. The wife could not help but keep turning back and the husband had to pull her away.
As if realizing his parents were no longer here, the baby in the swaddle suddenly burst out crying.
Bull Bean could not sit still as she stepped forwards and wanted to hug the child. This child was so pitiful; he lost his parents at such a young age.
However, before she could take the child, Rourou suddenly reached out and grabbed the baby. She then said slowly, “It seems like I have some fate with this child; leave it with me for the time being.”
Bull Bean looked at Rourou’s cool expression. Do you know how to hold a child? Don’t scare the baby.
But surprisingly, as soon as the baby landed in Rourou’s hands, it quickly stopped crying.
This caused Bull Bean’s eyes to widen and she could not say anything.
Shu Huan looked at Rourou, who was carrying the baby, and walked beside Bull Bean. She grabbed Bull Bean’s hand, “Don’t worry, although the Demon Clan is strong at Breaking Heaven Mountain, the world is still ruled by humans. Everyone on the ferry has thought of ways to send out messages. Perhaps there will be assistance soon and we can be saved from here.”
Bull Bean nodded and forced a smile. When the incident happened, she had also attempted to send out a message for help. However, when the message she sent entered the mist, it quickly lost connection. Who knew if it would work? She did not have high hopes.
However, there was still a possibility and it was better than utter despair.
The main battle at the port was the three major demons collaborating along with the defecting Chengshan Crab against Qin Yu, Deng Haibo and the rest. The remaining demons from the demon city that had flown to the port did not merely just stand there and watched. They started to frantically attack the ship.
The demon soul’s backlash curse existed, and none of the demon clansfolk dared to think that they would be spared. They had to kill everyone on this ship in order to appease the cursed demon energy that had entered their bodies.
Boom boom boom –
Loud explosions could be heard around the ferry. The intact ship was not able to withstand so many attacks from the Demon Clan. Moreover, after Chengshan Crab defected, the ferry was breaking apart and the formation suffered huge damages. Its powers were not even thirty percent of their usual state.
To be able to survive till now and not completely break apart was because Qin Yu was taking the brunt of the Demon Clan’s attacks. Thereafter, the cultivators on the ferry did their best to end it. They did not know if there was any chance today, but if they did not do anything, they would definitely die. If they tried their best, there might be a possibility.
Was there any room to hesitate?
Heavy fog covered several thousands of miles of the space above Breaking Heaven Mountain; it now grew denser like a curtain blocking out all senses from the outside world.
All the variations of messages that had been sent out into the fog had failed. They had been destroyed by the fog and lost their powers, falling somewhere on the mountain.
Of course, even if some of the messages made it out, no support would come. Because from the moment Bull Bean boarded the ship, everyone on it became sacrifices.
It was only because of this point that the owner of the fog dared to release his power and temporarily separate this area. If not, he would not have dared. The crazy people from the Great Qin Empire had always been trying to kill him.
Now, a portion of the fog had concentrated to form a huge eye. It was completely hidden in the fog and its aura was completely hidden.
It was looking at the port, watching the four demons try to kill Qin Yu. Sensing the aura from him, it became a bit greedy.
The owner of this eye did not care for the secret of this small world. What he wanted to get was the Heaven Crossing Great Dao in Qin Yu.
Nine bends that could cross the heavens.
If he could steal it for himself, perhaps he would be able to recover his original energy and even become stronger than before.
Just when the eye in the fog was staring at Qin Yu, on the top deck of the broken ship, Rourou played with the baby. She looked up into the sky at the fog and the corners of her mouth pulled up.
