"What do you mean by he is on a quest?" An elf is arguing with a white-haired girl in front of 'Kitten's Paw' inn.
"Zwain, Leader is not here and he will return within 10days, if you have anything to ask him please come back 10 days later." the white-haired girl answers.
"At least he should have a communication sphere or scroll with him, right Lucy?" Zwain asks Lucy.
Lucy turns her head and starts walking away.
'Even my communication sphere isn't connected to him, who are you to have a connection with him before I do?' She mumbles in an irritated voice.
"Hey, Lucy! Please, this is urgent," he pleads. His eyes are clearly troubled by something. Something must be happening around otherwise he couldn't possibly be looking for Leader with such urgency.
"Sigh...Truth be told, I haven't connected to his communication sphere yet...so I really can't do anything about it," Lucy speaks shaking her head.
Although, even if she had been connected, she wouldn't be giving it to him without the Leader's permission.
"He doesn't have one. It costs 1000 Gold coins to buy one and we didn't have that many coins so we couldn't buy one," Icelos speaks as he comes out of the inn.
"Huh?" Zwain and Lucy are shocked.
"Why?" Asks Zwain. Well, given Morpheus' personality it is hard to believe that he wouldn't have something as important as a communication sphere.
As they are mulling over that fact
"Excuse me, you are Lucy Farcel, right?" A man approaches Lucy.
He looks like a platinum rank adventurer.
"Yes," she answers observing the man.
"Sir Morpheus has sent a message.
'Tell Zwain that I have saved the Pixie Queen and the Wood Fairy Queen and will be returning in 4 days.'" He relays Morpheus' message to them.
"Huh?" Lucy and Icelos are quite shocked at the message.
'Isn't the timing perfect?' Lucy thinks
"Ah! Okay. Did he say anything about the Elf Princess?" Zwain is looking somewhat ecstatic, his smile is beaming as he asks the question.
'Elf Princess?' mumbles Lucy getting shocked again.
"' I won't do it for free, Zwain' is what sir Morpheus instructed us to say if you ask this question," he says and Zwain's face turns dejected.
"Okay, tell him that I will comply with his wishes," he speaks dispiritedly hoping that as soon as Morpheus returns they can save Princess Lia.
" 'She is probably in the hidden chamber at the centre of the World tree, if there is any. Or else she might be in the basement near the head office of Adventurers guild. Don't forget your end of the deal or I'll make sure devils would be the last thing on your mind.' Sir Morpheus had said to pass on this message if you would have agreed to his wishes. Since I have relayed all the messages, I shall take my leave now," and then as he leaves, the trio dumbfoundedly watches him.
'Devils?' mumbles Lucy.
Icelos' eyes are narrowed too at the mentioning of Devils.
"Zwain..?" As Lucy asks, she turns to find Zwain gone from there.
"He got what he came here for, huh," speaks Icelos.
"Yeah...Leader...is amazing, isn't he?" Lucy speaks in admiration.
"Well, he is a monster after all," Icelos smiles wryly thinking about Morpheus.
"Yeah, that he is," affirms Lucy.
Then they both start to move towards the Adventurers guild...
-Boom
A big shockwave from the core of the city spreads all around Eslaine and dust starts flying in an outward motion.
"[Air Blast]" ×100
Many mages used this spell to clear the dust in the air, as soon as the dust is cleared something comes into everyone's vision.
Lucy and Chase...no, everyone is shocked because...
The Sacred Tree of Eslaine is burning.
The fire reached from the bottom to the very top of the tree.
Soon, the devils start coming from left and right.
Even those who looked like elves and humans took out their disguise and released devil energy.
'Devils' Icelos mutters
Most of the people start panicking at this site but there is one person who is smiling in this situation,
"You mother*****rs," she curses as she lifts up her staff.
"[Burn]," she chants a spell, a very high-level one that would probably require 15minutes to chant for an average Supreme mage, but since she had done this 1000s of times, she can now do it instantly.
And the area starts burning or rather only devils in the area start burning in purple fire.
"Icelos call Phantesos, today's training is going to be about real-life battle experiences." She speaks with an icy smile on her face.
Icelos nods in return and starts running towards the market area where Phantasos went before.

Fights have started everywhere.
Some are fighting for the bounty placed on the devils' heads, some for Eslaine, some for vengeance but no matter what the reason be, everyone is in their high fighting spirits.
The same could be said for the devils too.
Although everywhere a fight is taking place, a crucial fight at the top of the Sacred tree has not yet begun.
The area between the fire is frozen and 3 people are visible in that area.
Zwain and Karina are facing a single Devil together.
It isn't an ordinary devil.
The fact that they both are fighting a single devil itself explains the strength of the devil.
"Unia," mutters Karina with a serious face. Her eyes are scared of the enemy in front of them.
"Damn it! Why her?" Zwain speaks, his eyes have lost most of the hope but he would definitely not go down without a fight.
Supreme Devil, Unia.
Though in terms of strength she is below average and in terms of speed she stands among the top members, the problem is her main power: Foresight.
She can see the future.
From 5 seconds to 10days, she can see as far as she wants.
She can plan for any possible future scenario and act on it.
Her speed is comparable to a Sin devil under transformation.
But she can't kill a Sin devil even though she is capable of doing that.
Why? Nobody knows.
But the most probable answer is that Ladros has bound her by something because of which she can't kill him and take his place.
And he had also ordered her not to kill any other Sin devils.
Now, Karina and Zwain had to fight against a devil who already knows their next move.
"I am here only for the Elf Princess, everyone else can leave," Unia speaks in a robotic voice.

'I must run fast without anyone noticing,' A high devil carrying Princess Lia is running through the city.
He probably has an invisibility spell activated on him as nobody seems to notice him running through the battlefield.
Almost nobody...
"Can you stop hiding and running while carrying a princess like a sack?" A child speaks with roots surrounding the area around him.
