PARKER'S POV:-

"Damn it, what the f**k did I do to fight against this monster?!" I exclaim as I dodge a slash from the kid's scythe in front of me.

"Who are you and why are you so adamant about attacking me?" In an impatient voice, I ask him the reason for his attack.

'Seriously, the fact that I don't know why am I being attacked is bothering me more than the fact that I am being attacked.'

I keep dodging him and trying my best to find a way to attack him.

Not answering me, he keeps attacking.

'Just what is this bastard thinking?' I mutter as I look at him

His smile deepens everytime he manages to slash me.

'Psychopath.'

'Haah...Sorry Guild Master, this isn't my cup of tea. I'm running out of here,' I think as I begin to run away from that monster.

But he blinks in front of me as if waiting for that moment.

'When did he?...No he always was this fast, Is he toying with me?' Realisation dawned upon me as I saw through his motive.

"Can you please not spoil all the fun?" Confirming my doubts, he asks as he takes a step forward.

"WHY?!?WHY ARE YOU AFTER ME?? I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO YOU, HAVE I?? EVEN IF I DID SOMETHING TO YOU, I AM SORRY," I shout out of desperation...or not.

'Will you please fall for this trap and tell me how I f**ked you up?'

'Are you one of those guys, who usually come to take revenge on me for a certain friend or family? Haha, I wonder if it was your girlfriend or something. If it was, I would love to see your face after I defeat you and tell you how I did it.'

"A certain someone..." He speaks but stops after three words.

'Haa..tsk tsk...Same old, same old...Mate, in this world who gives a damn about anyone else? Can't you understand that in this world if you have power you have everything? Whoever it was, must have been pathetic to be defeated by me. Survival of the fittest, dude.' I think as I look at him.

Humans and Devils were collaborating to take over Eslaine, but somehow that plan failed. So now, all of the Devils have planned to take the Lesser Fruit of Gaia and burn the tree itself as you can see. And you see, some higher members will share a part of the fruit among themselves," a smile forms on my face as I reach the juicy part of the conversation, "I am one of those members who will get a part of the fruit.

So, how about it? I can give you 1/4th of the part I am getting?" I speak in an understanding but anxious tone.

'Just you wait till I kill you later, oh God I am gonna enjoy this so much.'

'Just fall into my trap, will ya...how do you say it...yeah' pretty please',' I plan as I look at his expression.

He starts walking again as he does a few slashes in the air as if he is testing his slashes before making any move.

"Half of it, I'll give you half of it. How about it? Look, I have worked hard for that fruit for over a decade now, I can't really be more parting to it now, can I?" I speak in an 'anxious' tone.

'Yeah, do you know how many people I have killed and $#&@#% till I reached this point? It was all sweat and blood. Of course not mine.'

He keeps walking.

Then...

Something happens...no his aura changes...this...this isn't something I can handle...I must run.

"Is that all your life worth? Kinda cheap, if you ask me," he speaks in an uninterested tone.

My body gets numb as he moves forward.

'He will kill me. I can feel it. He won't show any mercy.'

"All of it. I will give you all of it. Please don't kill me," this time really scared I readily give him my most precious possession.

'This is my last move, since I already used it, I might as well kill him before leaving from here.'

My speed and strength increase massively.

"Haha...In this form I can go tow to tow with a Sin Devil, you are going to regret provoking me...ummm...hey what's your name? At least, I should know the name of the person I am going to kill," I speak with a grin on my face.

He was looking at me with an excited face but then at my final words his expression turned plain as he spoke,

"You don't need to know," he speaks with an uninterested expression.

'Huh?'

'What?'

I look at him.

'Did he do something?'
