Chapter 66: Alexander Cartel(2)

Sitting beside him in the Airplane I recall what had happened a few minutes ago.

"What's your name kid? You can call me Aether. Aether Rodriguez," Aether spoke as he raised his hand forward for a shake. But my mind being in turmoil I didn't...or more precisely couldn't raise my hand. Him being present gave credibility to the dream to be true as well. Honestly, it felt as if I was still in a dream and if it really was like that then I wanted to wake up as soon as possible.

After a few moments since he raised his hands, he waited for me to shake it back as he observed me I slowly gained my composure and raised my hand too for a shake. Dream or not it wouldn't have been a good thing to leave someone hanging on a handshake,

"Alexander Cartel."

"Do you know me?" Grabbing my hand he pressed it tightly as he asked as he looked at me with those blue hazel eyes. His question completely snapped me back to reality. I wasn't shaking as much as before...no I completely regained my composure. My mind was even sharper than normally it should be. I looked back at him with a look of curiosity. 'Was he the one who is responsible for regaining my composure? It was too abnormal for all of my anxiety to wash away in an instant.'

"Acupuncture or something along those lines. I specialised in those fields," he spoke as he saw through my question filled looks. My eyes turned to his hands which were tightly grabbing mine. I tried to remove my hands back but it looked like I couldn't. They were tightly gripped.

"If you do that, your anxiety will return. It's not a permanent solution, heck it's not even temporary, so till you can get back to normal and I solve your problem let me hold onto your hand for the time being and just for informations' sake I am pure straight and I have no interest in men," He answered as he joked with me. A twitch formed on my forehead as I understood what he meant,

"I am straight too," I couldn't help but blurt out which made everyone around us look at us which made the situation more complicated. I was embarrassed and that bastard started laughing his ass off at the situation.

'Weirdo,' I couldn't help but think that.

He smacked me on my head with a chop as he glared at me but it looked quite funny so a chuckle escaped my mouth at which...

"Owww" I felt irritated at which he started laughing again. As if by instinct I slowly started laughing along with him.

Soon we both started laughing like crazy for no reason, it made things better for me emotionally. Before I realised he already had left my hand. My anxiety was mostly in control. Looking around the other people were giving us weird looks.

"Flight XX has arrived at Runway YY. Passengers, please arrive at Gate no. C of Runway YY."

An announcement bought back the situation to 'normal'. Both me and Aether got up and started to move in the same direction. Looking at him he was smiling at me and I realised the reason too, we were going to catch the same flight. As we were walking he asked again,

"You haven't answered my question. Do you know me?"

I couldn't help but recall the dream I had in the morning today. Honestly, I don't want to believe that dream but looking at the person in front of me I couldn't help but get in a dilemma on what should I do. He clearly looks like a good guy, even in my dreams he was there to help me but should I trust him just because of a dream? I don't know honestly. He might as well take me for an idiot. I mean even I would take this situation as a moron talking nonsense unless I myself witnessed something like that. I look at him for a few moments before speaking.

"Honestly, I don't know. I don't know that I should trust you enough to tell you that," I took the straightforward approach by telling him what was going on in my mind. My answer was vague but looked like he was somehow satisfied with my answer, so he didn't ask anything again.

Later when I sat on the airplane I found myself sitting beside him.

"Damn! Even our seats are beside each other. Just how much of a coincidence is this. It is as if the Fate itself is trying to bring us together," I spoke in slight annoyance. I don't know whether I should get close to him to ask him for his help or stay away from him and change the timeline or something like that. Like if he won't be at my family's...

My expression turned horrified at the thought of my family dying. Honestly, I don't know what I should do. I turn my head down, but before I could shed even a tear, a hand grabbed my hand again and my emotions turned normal again.

"Thank you," I spoke with complete sincerity. I really needed that, I could not afford to break down here. I must remain as calm as I can before reaching home. I can't stay away from this guy, I really need him, at least for now. Thinking along those lines...

"I saw a dream of my family's funeral today. You were there at their funeral consoling me," I spoke about the dream. I left out the other details like my sister called me and others. Luckily he didn't ask about another thing and kept quiet for a few moments. His eyes closed and his breathing relaxed he seems to be thinking something. Soon he opened his eyes again and spoke,

"Let's save your family," he spoke with a smile on his face as he looked at me. Honestly, I was...stupified at his statement. To believe in me....Is he mental?
