3. Training Center (1)

Ye-Hyeon headed to the end of Gyeonggi-do, where the training center is located, early in the morning.

He had only a simple bag of clothes.

Most things were available inside the training center, so it was a hassle to take this and that.

The site of the training center slowly outlined over the bus window.

All I could see was a distant wall.

The blue wall’s end was not possible to see even if I ran.

Unlike the name of the training center, the awakening training center was the size of a city.

It was mandatory to enter the training center if you registered as an awakening person.

Even if you know that you have awakened, you don’t even know when, where, and what kind of ability will be expressed, so you are quarantined from society for safety reasons.

It is said that human rights abuses are noisy abroad, but in Korea, an absolute majority of awakening people agreed with the training center system.

There was no particular reason to oppose the financial compensation with awakening subsidies as much as the period of living and living without any restrictions in an environment optimized for the expression of amenities.

Even those who had complaints disappeared after living in the training center for a few days.

Hunters traveling around the gate used to miss the training center, saying it was heaven.

“I didn’t know I’d be here again!”

Ye-Hyeon looked bitterly at the entrance that was getting closer.

When he was at the training center, Ye-Hyeon would also dream of a sweet daydream with high expectations.

Not knowing how bitter the reality is, he is so silly.

My eyes were stiff because I stayed up all night.

Ye-Hyeon pressed his eyelids with his palm.

I need to find Yoon Seung-Jae first!

After time passed and the anger subsided once, reason gradually returned.

There was only one thing that changed back in time.

“How was Yoon Seung-Jae?”

Ye-Hyeon complained as he left the third fitness center.

Sweat was formed on the straight forehead.

After arriving at the training center, I didn’t do anything for four days and only looked for Yoon Seung-Jae, but I couldn’t see even just his shadow.

It was all because the training center was unnecessarily large.

The training method recommended by the training center was very simple.

It is to wield a sword directly, touch the fire, run down from a high place, and expose them to situations where their abilities can be expressed.

Ye-Hyeon, who knew he was a “player” even before entering the camp, did not know well because he only pretended to follow what others did, but it seemed to be effective compared to the primitive method.

As the basic stance was like that, there was nothing in the training center, from archery field, swimming pool, and high-altitude dropout.

In addition, new facilities were continuously expanded in the name of providing a pleasant training environment, resulting in six training grounds alone and three archery ranges.

Yoon Seung-Jae did not know how he would express himself as a tanker, so he had no idea what training he would be receiving.

All Ye-Hyeon could do was go around the fitness center, the basic and essential course for all trainees.

There were dozens of fitness centers and spread throughout the training center, so the travel time alone was at least six hours a day.

At first, I was annoyed, but now I’m even here.

“Just take raise the affection or intimacy to level 10.”

“I’ll never do what the quest tells me to do!”

Ye-Hyeon entered the first fitness center with a resolution that would not be kept.

To become a hunter, he had to express his skills in Ability and status window terms, and then pass the Hunter examination.

It usually took a month or two to find Ability.

It takes up to half a year, but if the time spent at the training center exceeded three or four months, it was as if it had been confirmed as a person without ability.

Ye-Hyeon was in an ironic state where he knew what his skills were but couldn’t use them because they were locked.

There’s nothing to prove in Hunter’s review, so if you don’t get inventory skills through quests, you’ll have to spend six months in training before you’re unexploited or fight

They will be an F-level hunter, which means unsuitable for the gates.

Even now, it is sometimes suffocating to have time passing by every minute and second, but it was nonsense to lose half a year meaninglessly.

And even the odds of one or ten millionth he might be able to get skills by opening the store with tutorial compensation, so it was worth trying.

Oh, Yoon Seung-Jae didn’t seem to be here either.

As soon as I was about to go back in disappointment, Ye-Hyeon’s eyes sweep through one place.

Bright curls were seen through the training equipment.

“I found it.”

The shoulders, which were full of strength, drooped with a sigh of relief.

Yoon Seung-Jae was stretching in the mirror’s best view, maybe he was just about to start exercising.

Ye-Hyeon was glad to see him because he had a hard time finding him.

“ehem.”

Ye-Hyeon quietly approached Yoon Seung-jae, clearing his throat for no reason.

As I approached Yoon Seung-Jae’s back, my eyes met over the mirror.

“Hi?”

Ye-Hyeon waved his hand as if they had known each other well.

“You…”

Yoon Seung-Jae frowned and turned his head.

He seemed to recognize Ye-Hyeon at once.

“Long time no see”

Ye-Hyeon smiled on purpose to make up for his ruined first impression.

Unfortunately, however, Yoon Seung-Jae’s face became even more distorted.

“Why are you pretending to be close?”

“I’m sorry about last time. I think I took it out on you for no reason because something bad happened.”

Ye-Hyeon did not give in to Yoon Seung-Jae’s unfriendly tone and apologized gently.

It was right to bend first and go in because he needs to hava a good impression.

However, it was not a heartless empty word.

No matter how confused he was, responding emotionally to young Yoon Seung-Jae was an immature behavior.

In a way, Yoon Seung-Jae was a victim of the same system as me.

It was the difference between knowing the fact and not.

He rolled his eyes.

According to Ye-Hyeon, even if he openly curses in front of him, he won’t bat an eyelash, but the difference in three years seems to be large.

“I’m Choi Ye-Hyeon.”

“What about you?”

Ye-Hyeon changed his words as naturally as possible.

Yoon Seung-Jae showed that he did not want to answer, but Ye-Hyeon armed himself with a smile and did not back down.

This hostility was kind of aegyo for Ye-Hyeon, who had to bend without a bell even though he was ignored outright.

“…Yoon Seung-Jae.”

Yoon Seung-jae, who had been dragging his time, reluctantly replied.

When Ye-Hyeon reacted differently from his expectations, he seemed to be thinking about how to deal with it.

“So how old are you?”

Yoon Seung-Jae asked bluntly.

He seemed to want to continue the argument with age when they encountered at the Hunters Association.

“Twenty four.”

I almost said my age before.

Ye-Hyeon bit his tongue without Yoon Seung-Jae knowing.

“Twenty-four?”

“Twenty-four.”

There was a way to get past it, but Seung-Jae held onto his tail and drooped. Even though he corrected it to be twenty-four, it was a big deal because it was awkward.
“With that face?”

Yoon Seung-Jae squinted his eyes looking if he was lying.
Ye-Hyeon held back his laughter as it was about to come out between his lips.

“I was amazed to be treated like a child by a person much younger than me.”

“Huh? What?”

“No.”

Yoon Seung-Jae snorted when Ye-Hyeon pretended not to hear it.

Usually, it would look weird, but maybe because he was 19 years old, it doesn’t look unnatural.

“I’m older than you, right? Call me Hyung now.”

” You want me to use honorifics next?”

“I don’t mind you speaking informally, but you should call me Hyung”

Ye-Hyeon gently snorted.

Yoon Seung-Jae, who didn’t like what he didn’t like so much, broke out with an upset expression and muttered something.

“You’re such a baby.”

Ye-Hyeon slightly curled his lips.

The more I talked, the more I realized Yoon Seung-Jae’s age.

“It’s okay, get out of here. I’m going to work out.”

Yoon Seung-Jae tried to drive away Ye-Hyeon by waving his hand as if Ye-Hyeon is a bug.

T/N: I would assume you know word’s meaning like Hyung and Noona so there would be no explanations.
