Chapter 10: Learning Lore Makes Me Stronger!

"Say augh." She said as she stared into my azure eyes and held the spoon between my eyes. 'Oh fu-' I began to panic before she turned the spoon over and the spoon entered into my mouth. It strung into my mouth and I came to a stop. 'This…' I gulped as it rushed down my throat. 'IT'S LIKE A WATERFALL OF COKE! I need more of it!' I stared at her and nodded. "Give me another spoonful." She chuckled before slashing the corner off and providing me another slice of pudding into my mouth.

 

We ate pudding for 12 minutes…

She chuckled as she glanced at me. "I never knew that you loved slime pudding this much." She said as she grabbed a cloth and rubbed it over my lips. "There you aren't as messy." I stared into the crimson eyes which were as brilliant as the dawning sun. "Uh. Sorry. I ate a lot of slime pudding and I really shouldn't have eaten this much."

 

She chuckled. "It's alright. I won't take it against you." I nodded before staring into her eyes. "Also let's get to reading that book." "I'm going to get it for you!" I said as I ran up the stairs and into my room. 'It seems like I am really not going to progress with the system…' I noted as I came to an abrupt stop before my desk and grabbed the particular book.

 

"On the history of Altrea." I returned to the table and stared at my elder sister. "I'm back with the book." "That's good. I'll begin reading the first paragraph then you will do the second paragraph and then we will take turns." I nodded. 'It's kind of like how my older sister read books to me.' I thought to myself as I stared at her. 

 

"Also. Do you know my name?" I shook my head. "I'm Runa and I'm proud to be your older sister." She said as she placed the book onto the table and grabbed my hand and placed it onto her forehead. She smiled at me with the happiest look in the world. My heart began to rush. "Sorry for not knowing your name."

"It's alright. Yesterday was very lively, especially with all your friends." She said as she began to smile. She definitely knew that something was up between me and my fr- no minions. I stared at her before placing my hand on the book. "I think we should start reading the book now."

"Alright. Let's begin." She said as she adjusted her hair and swung it to the back. "The nation of Altraea is a nation known to many races. Such as the humans, beastkin, lizardmen amongst others. Although it is a majority human nation, Altraea is a nation that is very inclusive of other races mainly on part of the virtues that the nation has been founded on. The virtue in question is tolerance." Her glance shot at me. "It's your turn."

I nodded as she handed the book over to me. "The history of Altraea first began with the creation of nomadic human tribes in the province of Alundea. Alundea is currently a northern province of Altraea split between her and Kansber, but during that time much of Alundea was under the Altraean tribes. Among those tribes there was one called the Altranders and in multiple wars of conquest by a man named Herodotus the First and his successor and younger brother, Altermides the great, the Altraean nation came into being for the first time."

I returned to my room. I was finally done reading that long as hell book. It wasn't exactly boring, but the two of us just had to read a 300 something page book in one sitting. So naturally I would be tired as hell. I jumped into bed and thought to myself. 'The first empire era kind of reminds me of Alexander the Great…' I rolled over under the blanket.

 

"But! System I summon you! How well are my stats!" I said as I pointed at the mirror sitting at the other side of the room.
