Chapter 2: Character Creation

I awoke from my slumber as the darkness around me began to recede. I glanced off into the skies of the ever receding darkness with cold eyes. 'I've lost it all… I had protected her life at the cost of her heart and my life…' I didn't even get to say that I loved her… I glanced down onto my white polo shirt. It was previously a stainless button up shirt that would've gone well under any black coat, but now it was all bloody. I sighed in relief as I noticed the fact that the bleeding had stopped. A dark blue panel suddenly appeared in front of me causing me to break my line of thought.
