Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Step One

As soon as Yukiro opened his eyes, he was greeted with a bright, unfamiliar landscape. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and trying to take in his surroundings.

He was in a bustling city, with people and creatures of all shapes and sizes milling about. The air was filled with the sound of clanging swords and the smell of cooking food.

Yukiro was filled with excitement. He had been reincarnated into a fantasy world! And not just any fantasy world, but one where he can become a badass bartender.

He stood up, feeling a rush of joy and curiosity coursing through his veins. He had always been a bit of a thrill-seeker, and the prospect of starting a new life in this exciting world was exhilarating.

As he made his way through the city, he couldn't help but marvel at the sights and sounds around him. He saw towering castles and sprawling markets, and heard tales of heroic quests and epic battles.

As he was walking through the city, he spotted a tavern in the distance called “The Drunken Dragon”, he immediately decides to head over there. As Yukiro walks through the doors of The Drunken Dragon, he was suddenly hit with the smell of alcohol and the sound of laughter. The place was packed with people of all different races and sizes, all enjoying the atmosphere of the tavern. 

Yukiro makes his way to the bar, there, was a cute bartender just like he had hoped for. A group of men approached the girl and started flirting with her, she seemed uncomfortable. “Hey darling, you’ve got some nice jugs there. Why don’t we go stay at an inn or something?” The man says. 

As the man spoke to the bartender, Yukiro thought to himself, this is where he steps in and saves the girl.

Yukiro walked up to the group of men and stood in between them and the bartender. "Leave her alone," he said sternly. "She's not interested.”

The men sneered at him, but Yukiro didn't back down. He could see the fear in the bartender's eyes.

One of the men took a swing at Yukiro, but he was quick on his feet and dodged the punch. He flicked the man’s forehead and sent him crashing into the wall, causing him to fall unconscious.

The other men quickly scattered, leaving Yukiro and the bartender alone. She looked at him with gratitude in her eyes. "Thank you,” she said softly.

Yukiro gave her a smirk. "Anytime.”

From there, Yukiro introduces himself and so does the girl, her name was Kiri. Kiri was slim and petite, with delicate features and long silver hair that shone like a beacon in the dimly lit bar. Her eyes were a stunning shade of silver, and they sparkled.

"Who are you?" the manager walks over, eyeing Yukiro suspiciously.

Yukiro smiled and held out his hand. "My name is Yukiro. I'm just a traveler passing through town. I saw this beautiful lady being harassed by those men and decided to step in and help her out."

The manager's expression softened as he looked at Kiri. "Thank you for helping my employee. Please, what can I do to repay you back?”

“Let me work here,” Yukiro gives a quick response with a smirk on his face. “Ah, is that it? Well I suppose you could start  tomorrow.” The man responds.

And just like that, I quickly became a bartender.
