Chapter 13: System rewards and New knowledge

[[[Good morning host, you have some unopened rewards. As you are alone, the system recommends opening up a few]]] 

             Hearing a voice in his mind, Draxes eyes opened up to the light blue coloring of the inn's roof. Getting up out of his bed, a large yawn escaped Drax's mouth as he stretched out his back in the same way a cat would. Looking at the notification in front of his eyes, Drax was a little surprised as he had almost completely forgotten about his quest rewards. Thinking about it for a moment, Drax decided to take the system's advice. "Okay system, what rewards did I get?''.

              Not getting any response from the system, Drax started to wonder why. As he thought about why it wasn't working, a memory of what the people in fiction novels that had systems usually did to get the system's attention went through his mind. Slapping his paw against his forehead as realization went through his mind, Drax opened his muzzle before saying. "Show status." Saying this out loud, Drax gave himself a mental thumbs up as a large blue screen wig the following information appeared in front of his eyes.

             Looking at his status, Drax found that there were a few things that made him confused. "Hey, system, where are my stats."

             Drax took a second to organize his thoughts before saying, "Well, jn fantasy novels, the MC usually had a system. When these systems showed the MC's Status, they would usually have something like STR- 40 or Int- 10, but I don't see anything like that on here, so where are my stats?"

             "Hey, that was uncalled-for" shouting out at the system for being rude, the system of course just ignored Drax and continued to speak.

[[[The numbers next to the skills does not represent quantity, but quality. Each skill has 10 different stages showing how formed the skill is. These stages are classified by their numbers and allows one to know what stage of power their skill is in. For example, let's say your bite skill was level one. This would mean that your ability to bite into things is only at the beginning stage and is still forming. But as your teeth get stronger then so does your skill level. This gives you a rough idea of how much your teeth can now endure and how powerful your bite is]]]

             "Oh, I get it. But then what about the percentages located beside my abilities, what do those mean?"

[[[This is because abilities, unlike skills, do not get stronger. Abilities are the things that come almost naturally to a living organism, and as such they cannot grow in strength. They can, however, be improved. These improvements are calculated by a percentage that tells the organism how much more improvement is needed until the ability has been completely mastered. Another thing is, unlike skills, abilities cannot evolve by just improving them. In order for the ability to be upgraded or evolve then the ability requires two external factors. One, the mastery of the ability must be at 100%. And two, the Host must evolve with the mastery at its peak.]]]

             "I see…" Looking at the system message In front of him, Drax thought about all that he had just learned before nodding his head. The system did make sense, and he'd be a fool to think that something that was made by a god would tell him incorrect information. Giving a sigh, Drax rubbed his paws against his eyes before once again looking at the floating blue screen. Looking at the (System tabs) Drax set his eyes on the rewards tab as he focused his eyes on it. As his eyes focused on it, a clicking sound was made inside of Draxes mind before a new screen popped up In front of his field of vision.

             Looking over his rewards, Draxes eyes were drawn towards the exp award. "Hey system, why is my exp locked?" Drax asked as he continued to look at the reward.

             "Well, I guess I should probably open the rewards then. Hmm, I'm going to save the blessing and message for last so let's open this one." Picking the advanced status page viewer reward, a ringing went through Draxes head followed by a slight tingling sensation over his body. As the sensation stopped, another notification popped up In front of his eyes.

[[[Body projection feature has been added to host's status. Host will now be able to see how the host body looks. Host can also use this to see how Host's body can and will change during future evolutions.]]]

             As he finished reading the message, the notification dissolved right In front of his eyes as he was shown his new status page.

             Focusing on the body scan tab, a large 3D picture of Drax's body popped up In front of his eyes. Looking at the picture, Drax focused his mind before the picture on the blue screen started to slowly turn. Looking at himself in the picture, Drac couldn't help but let out an "aww" sound as Drax looked at how he looked. HE WAS ADORABLE!!! Wishing that he could make the image do cute poses or something, Drax started to look around for any button on the screen that he might be able to press. Looking around the picture, Drax gave a yip of joy as his eyes caught sight of something. 

             Right above the picture were three tiny colored dots with small words written below each one, the dots were only about the size of a coat button and were red in color. Looking closer at the words, Drax's heart beat in anticipation as he read what the button said.

The words were as follows.

Stick out tongue

roll over

             Pressing each button in turn, Drax watched as the picture started making multiple different actions. Letting out "aww" sounds as he watched the picture move, Drax couldn't help but want to have more poses. One must remember that in his past life, Drac was insanely obsessed with foxes. So, like any obsessed idiot would do, Drax continued to watch the picture do multiple poses for more than ten minutes before finally deciding to open his other rewards. Closing the body display tab, Drax looked at the rest of the rewards as he tried to figure out which to open next.
