Walking back to Konoha with Team 7 is a bit awkward. Sakura’s gaze darts between me and Sasuke in confusion. Sasuke avoids eye contact with me. Naruto looks shockingly introspective.

I don't blame him after that day in the Academy when he slipped and fell into an accidental kiss with Sasuke, and now seeing his teammate naked last night... Fufufu, talk about a meet cute!

While I hope I haven’t damaged the story too much, the time is approaching when I’ll have to make some big decisions. I can’t worry about the little things too much.

After arriving in town, I reconnect with Kiba and Hinata.

Apparently, she ended her relationship with Asuma in a letter, saying she found someone new. Asuma wouldn’t believe it, so he stormed the Aburame compound demanding to see his former lover.

The rumors say it got ugly. They say Kurenai told Asuma he never properly satisfied her as a lover, that she’d always preferred women to men, and she even said he has a small dick (I doubt all that’s true, as rumors tend to blow things out of proportion, but… maybe the Aburame are spreading the rumors to make it seem worse).

I’m worried Choko totally dominated Kurenai in bed, got her high on Pheromones, then tease/denied her to the point she’d say anything to get another dicking. Kurenai’s post-nut clarity is going to be god-awful.

I'm a little surprised the Hokage didn't get involved since he's Asuma's grandfather, but it can't be a good look for someone that important to interfere with a petty breakup. It'd be different if Kurenai had a major clan affiliation, said she was being held against her will, or if she'd been engaged, but she was just dating Asuma. I'm not sure how the Time-Skip will work since us Genin are already eighteen, but it could've been years until Asuma would have gotten her pregnant in this timeline.

Hmm... I may have accidentally forced Choko’s hand by exposing Dweller-dick to Kurenai, but the Aburame seems a lot bolder in this timeline compared to the Anime. It’s because of me, isn’t it? Being born a woman who inherited the Pheromone insect and Deep Dweller accelerated Choko’s plans, compared to a male-Shino who was (no offense) a basic bitch.

I ask Hinata how she’s holding up and she says she tried to go see Kurenai, but the Aburame turned her away. I guess that makes sense since she was disowned by the Hyuga and doesn’t have a clan backing her the way Asuma does.

The Aburame offer to have one of their Tokubetsu Jonin substitute as Team 8's sensei, but Asuma insisted on taking Kurenai's place when she requested 'temporary' leave. I don't know Choko's long term plans, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kurenai soon claims she is pregnant from some Aburame guy and starts taking maternity leave. 

Asuma's time is split something like 60/40 against us. We even have Ebisu fill in one day. Asuma looks pretty messed up when I see him. I don’t have the courage to tell the man this is my fault.

I’m so sorry, Asuma-san! I swear I’ll make this right somehow!

Not even Hinata’s cuteness can make me feel better right now.

From talking to Kiba, I learn that Kurenai (at Choko’s request) approved my ‘mission’ to the land of waves retroactively. Well, it’s good that I won’t receive any additional negative repercussions beyond the natural consequences of my actions.

My team is aware of the upcoming Chunin Exams and has redoubled their training despite everything.

Before I start my preparations, I need to decompress with my girlfriend.
