Along with Celestine, I moved around from one elective class to another class experiencing their lessons and by the time I felt like I had free time, it was noon.
Lunchtime. A valuable time that was usually cut in the game. In reality, students can choose from stores, school canteens, restaurants or lunch boxes.
In my plan to enjoy every aspect of real life <Dungeon Activity>, I am also busy digesting all the menus one by one recently.
My goal is to taste everything they have to offer by the graduation, albeit, I feel like that may prove a bit challenging.
There are just so many menus to choose from that I couldn't help but think it would've been nice to not have so many places.
Today was the turn to eat in the school cafeteria, but as the restaurant was much closer from the location we were in, I and Celestine decided to sort out our lunch there. Today's menu was Italian style.
"Zephyr-sama. The time to submit the schedule for the elective classes is by 6 p.m. today, have you decided which one you're going to take?"
"Well, Each and everyone is so fascinating that it's too difficult to choose. I'm lost. Speaking of, what about you?"
"Me? As I had said last week, I will be taking the same class as Zephyr-sama."
"I see. But are you really fine with that? I mean, it's fine even if you choose something else."
"No, I'm your attendant."
Celestine has already decided.
Well, I particularly don't mind as long as he's doing it by his free will, though I will stop him if I feel like he's forcing himself.
It would be a bit lonely without him, so I have to make sure to select something that's also liking to him. My motto is to avoid the unlikable things as much as possible in the work. A work where you can have fun is the best.
After lunch, we went around to check-out the art class Sierra had mentioned since I had already finished checking out all the elective classes I had in my mind to in the morning time.
When speaking about the art system of <Dungeon Activity>, what comes to my mind is interior.
It was one of those areas I didn't bother to check in the game, since it had little to nothing connection with the dungeon capture.
But this is the real world. It's not impossible to find something new that might haven't been available in the game. Maybe, the interior of guild rooms or houses might light a passion inside me.
So I took art classes with such bubbling feelings in my chest.
To speak of the result; it was impossible for me.
It was hard for me to suddenly ignite my interest in arts when the art and me never crossed each other's path as far as my memory can take me down.
On the other hand, I also received a lot of explanations about paintings from Celestine. Like, as I look around the replica painting hanging on the wall, he said it's a famous work depicting a scene from a so and so book and how to read it. And after explanation, he also taught me how to read the painting logically instead of feeling it.
Although it was interesting, it wasn't fun. And again, the all mighty really is all mighty, even well-versed in arts and that's when I suddenly realised.
"Of course it would be a high hurdle for me to get into arts at this point when I am too much invested in the dungeons."
"But I believe otherwise. You have even understood around 70% of my explanation, don't you?"
"No, I don't deny that being able to understand a painting is interesting. The main point is, it's not suitable for me."
The crux of this matter is preference. Like, If there's someone who likes RPGs, then there would be someone who likes simulation too. That's what I mean. I'm mainly interested in dungeon capture strategy, while I have left the management of <Eden> in other hands. I'm just worried about the girly vibe. Especially the no. of plushies that are steadily increasing in the guild room.
"Our idle time is almost up. Next should be the last I think? Which one are we going to check this time?"
"Hmm."
It's half past 2 right now, this visit has taken much more time than expected. Just as Celestine said, art class will end at 3 p.m., and the next elective class would be our final destination.
Also, I can't take classes that are far from our current location. The only option is to search nearby.......
I have already gone around the elective classes I had wanted to check, so while there are still too many options, they just don't give me a kick.
As I was brooding over this fact, Celestine took out his <Smartphone> and showed it to me.
"I picked-up these classes nearby. Please check it out."
"I knew I could rely on you, Celestine. Thank you."
He's truly a fearsome attendant.
That was a joke. I thanked him and took a look. In the end, there were still not any interesting classes nearby.
"Then, what do you think about this?"
"Hmm, an advanced dungeon study class huh...? I don't feel joining it either."
This was a class about advanced dungeons, which is still an untrodden path. A dungeon where roams the unknown and unidentified monsters as of yet. An overly conscious type class where they gather information about it, debate over it and then aim to capture the high-grade dungeon one day.
However, let alone advanced dungeons, I can't be anymore familiar with even the top grade dungeons.
Rather, I'm sure I can be easily qualified for the position of teaching, rather than to be at the receiving end of it.
一一Hmm? Just now, I had an epiphany. What was it?
For a moment just now, I had realised something that can be terrifyingly fun.
Ahh, what was that? Let's go over the thoughts I just had.
I can't be any more familiar with them. I can easily be on the teaching side, than to be at receiv... ing...... Yes , that's it!
"Change in plan, Celestine. We're going to the research institute now."
"Huh? What are you going to do about elective classes?"
"That doesn't matter anymore! I have already decided what I'm going to do with my 6 periods! Anyway, there's much more important in our hands right now. We're going to a research institute."
"Understood."
Come to think of it, there shouldn't be any need to take Celestine since class is over...... Well, whatever.
And so, our plan changed to visit the research institute that wasn't far off from our location.
