On the way back from the institute Hannah talked about her impressions of it.
“Those guys were kind of amazing weren’t they?”
She actually seemed a little overwhelmed.
“I agree, they were exactly how I imagined researchers would be.”
“Really?”
When I was shown the research they’d had up until this point it all looked like statistics so, it’s possible my hints may have been too specific. Thinking back on it the director must have warned them to remain calm in advance because their bloodshot eyes looked hungry for information. It was honestly a little scary, but I think I told them enough to make their lives a bit easier.
When I talked I emphasized efficiency and they were totally absorbed in it. They’d gathered around me with pencils and paper, taking notes and hanging on my every word. It felt good to be the center of attention.
“This should help increase the number of high ranking jobs but they should hurry up and review it because the deadline isn’t far off. ”
Three more weeks, I’d actually like to recruit 5 more people to my guild if possible.
“I think our number of rivals will increase but that’s ok.”
“Well as it is, it would be too easy for us to get up to S rank, almost boring even.”
“I don’t think I want to know where your getting your confidence from Zephyrus.”
“Well you’re part of the guild too you know. ”
With this the overall level of the entire school should rise.
After leaving the research tower we made our way to C street.
Recently Maria had been depressed for some reason but she had returned to her usual energy.
“Congratulations on forming a guild!”
“Thank you, I guess that information spread pretty fast huh.”
“Well, you’re the hottest topic around right now after all. Ignoring the speed in which you formed a guild, and the amazing people you recruited into it, you also have already cleared and intermediate teir dungeon already.”
“Well then, it looks like there’s no need to explain. Our guilds name is Eden and we look forward to working with you in the future.”
“Same here!”
I shook hands with Maria, now the other members of Eden will also receive preferential treatment here.
“So about the materials, did you get them sold?”
“Of course, here’s the assessment.”
The earnings this time were more than usual totaling 4.1 million Mir. After splitting it with Hannah I now had a total of 3.85 million.
“Did the unit price go down?”
“A little, the berserker party is rampaging around the lower tiers so the market is becoming a hit saturated.”
“I see, looks like we moved on just in time.”
The price of items from beginner dungeons will only continue to decline in the future. After that was dealt with I pulled out the materials we acquired yesterday and Maria nearly went into shock seeing the materials from the rare boss.
