Reincarnation 

Adam, a 16-year-old boy, a young high-school teenager, was a very intelligent boy, he was quite capable as compared to his peers, he had skipped years in school with his sharp mind and was about to graduate with people who should be his seniors.

He was a kind person and always helped others in need if asked for it, he belonged to a middle-class family, and lived with his parents, older sister, and younger brother.

They were a very loving family and each of them cared a lot for the other.

Like every other boy, he liked to play video games, watch anime and read light novels.

He was quite cute for a boy and was often mistaken as a cute girl with short hair.

His appearance had broken the hearts of many of his male classmates who initially thought of him as a girl.

Today, as usual, he was going to school and was crossing the road when he spotted a blind person behind him.

The blind man requested his help to cross the busy road and he accepted to help that man.

They were slowly crossing the road as the age of the old man was quite high, as they were in the middle of the road, he heard the honking of a car.

Honk!

The fact was that the car was speeding crazily toward them and the driver inside was drunk and asleep with his head on the horn.

Adam was athletic enough to dodge and save his life but the old man was not.

'Should I leave him….

Yeah, he is very old anyways so it wouldn't matter, right?

I still have a future ahead of me….'

Dark thoughts that were never there before appeared in his mind.

He was just about to push the old man to death and save himself but in the end, his body didn't want to do such a selfish act and instead pushed the old man to the side and faced the car that was inches away now and….

Boom!

His vision darkened and he lost consciousness.

Sirens of ambulances and police cars now could be heard as people around called for them.

Adam's family reached the site of death and their expressions were blank.

His mother and father were on the verge of fainting, his little brother cried himself to sleep….

….though if one closely looked at the expression of his older sister….cold chills might run down his spine.

She was staring at Adam's body like a crazy maniac and her eyes were completely blank as if she had lost her mind.

She turned around and stared at the blind man who was saved by Adam, he was also being carried to the hospital due to wounds he suffered.

Same for the drunk driver.

She cracked her head a little and went away to a dark alley….

'Huh…where am I?'

'Wasn't I dead…is this the place where we reach after death….'

'I thought I would be judged for crimes and all the shit I read….heavens and demons….'

'Wait! Would I have to spend forever in this dark place!?'

He was in a completely black space floating, he could not feel and just think about his surroundings.

He might go crazy if he spent time here alone forever 

As a social being, he could not survive here….

'fuck you….any higher being or even god….I was foolish to believe in such shit….there's nothing here like that….'

Slowly more time passed

'AAGGHH…AAGHAAH'

He tried to thrash around as he was getting desperate and wanted to be out

He was now completely silent as he was slowly going insane for being here for who knows how long.

He was just here lost forever, he accepted that fact a long ago and was just waiting for himself to go so much insane that he could not think properly….at least that will save him the misery of being alone here.

And he was sure that he was on the verge of breaking into insanity since he had already started getting insane thoughts already.

Whoosh!

Suddenly he felt himself stirring.

But his mental health was now not so good and he was just lost in delusions.

A light in the darkness enveloped his body in a bubble and the bubble now started floating and kept floating….

He was just lost but he knew in some part of his still sane mind that this was happening in real.

'Was this what happened after the mind of the dead finally goes insane'

'Does this bubble think I have gone fully insane now that it's carrying me somewhere?'

Adam still had a bit of sanity left and was just hoping the bubble doesn't find it.

He was fearful of the terrifying black place.

He saw the bubble reach another….bubble?

No, it was a fucking planet!

The bubble he was in burst out and he again lost his conscious

Adam's perspective

Bright light assaulted my eyes as I found that I am in the body of a newborn

Reincarnation….

A thing he always thought was just fantasy.

He could not make much of his surroundings but he could see that he was in some sort of wooden carriage being carried by some man.

'Haa…the feeling of living again is just too good….'

After saying so in his mind, he slept peacefully…..probably the last of his peaceful sleep for a very long time…

The man carrying Adam stared at the baby he was carrying and a cruel and wicked smirk appeared on his already dirty and disgusting face.

He was staring at Adam and was thinking something to himself, whatever that was not good for Adam.
