I remember the heroine having the overpowered Holy affinity in her aura and that was also what made her revered as a saintess and thus gain support from the church.

Holy element is extremely rare and people born with it could be counted on one hand all around the world regardless of race.

They were revered everywhere and the church treated them as apostles of the god of light that they followed.

The other elements are fire, water, wind, earth, ice, lightning, and a few others.

There's one element that is the polar opposite of the Holy element and it is the Dark element.

This element is detested by the church and followers of the church hunt down anyone associated with the dark element.

Although the only church has such behavior toward dark elements.

The academies are there that welcome anyone with elemental affinity no matter what it is.

I was soon to be tested on what affinity I had to plan my training methods.

But…a shocking thing happened and I became aware that I had three elements rather than one.

The thing was only known to me and I was wise enough to keep it to myself only as I know what will become of me if this is known to the outside, especially that clever duchess.

I cleared my mind from unpleasant thoughts and focused on my elements.

One of them was the Dark element.

I was speechless now, for me to have this extremely rare element that is almost as hard as a holy element to get.

But at the same time, it was also an overpowering element just the holy element and one might even say it is more offensive than the holy element which is obvious as the holy element focus more on defense and health.

The other element was rather a more normal one as it was the Ice element.

It was a good element both offensively and for defense as well.

The last element I had was….

No one in the world had more than one element in their aura.

No history of any such happening has ever been recorded as well.

Only Ellis so far was the only one to have more than one aura element.

It was believed by scholars that having more than one aura was impossible as two auras can't co-exist just like fire and water can't be mixed.

A person born with more than one element could never be able to use the aura as the presence of another aura in the same body will prevent the other to keep from manifesting.

They didn't expect to take into account an anomaly like Ellis.

I decided to reveal my ice element to them as it was the most normal one of all.

Still, this caused an uproar as well.

Fire, water, wind, and earth are the most common elements in the world people can have.

Ice and lightning are rare among people and few are lucky enough to be able to get them.

So, even in nobles such elements are rare and for someone like me to have ice elements is a sort of big deal but I know it won't be much of a ruckus.

It was then when I reached the ground to train, that I was told that the instructor has been changed due to the unexpected talent I showed.

The duchess had more expectations from me and wanted me to be more of use.

The instructor was the knight captain in charge of protecting the mansion.

There were many knight squads and each squad had a captain, although all these squads were patrolling all around the dukedom to maintain order.

Only the squad in charge of maintaining the safety of the household was at the mansion at all times.

The knight captain's name was Cecil.

She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a petite frame.

She was a fire aura user and I remember she had a scene in the novel where she fought with the heroine in the later parts on the orders of the villainess.

She was a loyal subordinate of the duchess and followed her orders efficiently.

She was informed about me already and so my hellish days again returned but this time even more so as just after practicing with her, I was expected to do house training with the head maid.

That vexed woman didn't bat an eye on my schedule and kept it like always even knowing that I had morning training as well.

I often fainted in the middle of work when doing manner training or cooking training.

It was just too much for any child of my age and my body often could not handle the exhaustion.

This resulted in more beating by that maid.

I was living under constant fear of not fainting or else I would be beaten badly.

I felt scared of all the beating that was delivered when I fainted.

It was very painful as the damn maid seemed to enjoy beating me as I noticed in the years of training under her.

There wasn't a day in the following year when I was working without bandages or scratches or bruises on my face.

At least she was kind enough to not fracture my wrists or legs. It was most probably because this would hinder my aura training and however bold the head maid may be, she could not go against the duchess after all whom herself ordered the knight.

For me to be saying that she is 'kind' enough just shows how much fear I am of her.

If I had to say, then I feared the head maid more than the duchess.

The duchess rarely was at the mansion since she was always busy with work.

So, only the head maid was the one with the highest authority left in the mansion.

Excluding the knight captain.
