Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Sharing a bed

Both Eren and Lyrica continued their journey to the academy.

On their way,

"A lizard?" Eren asked confused. Even though it looked like a lizard, it was bigger than it by several times. It was almost three-fourths the size of a crocodile.

"No. It is called Crozard. It has an affinity to water. It was a little bit difficult to deal with for you. So, I will deal with it, and watch me closely." Lyrica said and was going to kill it. But suddenly, Eren replied. "Lyri, I will kill it. You don't have to worry. If you think it may threaten my life, then you can kill it"

Hearing this, she wanted to refuse. She feared that when Kuromi heard that she left her son in danger and injured, Kuromi would kill her. But Lyrica decided to take the gamble and nodded at Eren. Eren then went forward to deal with Crozard.

The old man who was following Eren to ensure his safety was in fear. He too feared Eren's safety. He prayed that nothing happened to him. Or else, his life would be gone.

When Eren went near Crozard, it too looked at him.

"Fire Ball" he threw a ball of flames at it.

The lizard (Crozard) retaliated by spraying a jet of water.

But, When the fire was extinguished, it was shocking. It saw that Eren's hand was coated in Lightning and was moving towards it. The lizard also couldn't dodge it as it was near.

The punch fell directly into the face of the lizard. I was stunned for a second. Eren didn't let the chance go and started attacking it with his physical strength as well as using fire and lightning-coated punches.

Lyrica as well as the old man was dumbstruck. They never thought he would be this much power. His physical strength was on another level. Even forge masters of his age didn't have such power.

'If he punched me and I couldn't escape, I would die easily. He has such strength.' Lyrica thought. She was slightly fearing him.

The fight between Eren and the lizard didn't last much time. It was finished in five minutes.

He then went to Lyrica and said with a proud expression " How was it, Lyri? Do you like it?"

"It was good. I never expected that you were such strong" She replied.

Eren shrugged his shoulders as if saying 'What can I do if I am too awesome?

(AN: I mentioned lizard just to make it easy for me to write. It is pretty hard to write Crozard. And Crozard is a name I made myself. I know it sounds weird but plz bear it. Thnx)

Lyrica went to the beast and from its head, she took a pearl. It was rough the size of a small rock. She then gave it to Eren and said "Take this and refine it now. To refine it, eat it and slowly circulate your mana across your body."

Eren then went to sit down and ate the orb. He felt as if large amounts of mana were bursting inside his stomach. He then put his total concentration and circulated his mana across his body trying to tame the wild mana.

After fifteen minutes of hard work, he was able to fully absorb it. The discovery shocked him. He had gained small comprehension of water elements. If he trained for it, he would surely awaken it in a week.

Seeing his happy expression, Lyrica asked curiously "What happened?".

"Nothing, Lyri" Eren replied.

Lyrica then didn't pursue the matter and continued their journey.

After two hours of journey, they reached a city called Hera. It was almost night. The sun was setting. They decided that they would stay here for the night.

Eren and Lyrica went to look for a hotel p stay in. They entered the hotel and asked for two rooms. But all said that all their rooms were booked.

At last, they found a hotel that had a room. But it had a problem….. there was only one room. So, Lyrica and Eren had to stay in the same room sharing the same bed.

Lyrica's mind was in overdrive. She looked at Eren to ask his opinion.

To her surprise, he said "I am okay sharing a room with you, Lyri. If you have any problems…" Inwardly he was very happy. He wanted to hit her and this was the perfect opportunity.

Lyrica thought for some time. At last, he agreed. If they stay in open and someone kidnaps Eren, she would be in the wrath of the Greylash Family.

The hotel receptionist took the key from the drawer and gave it to Lyrica. The room number was 1997.

Both went to the tenth floor where their room was located.

When opening the door, Lyrica prayed for the bed to be big. She then opened the door.

The room was of average size. It had a TV, a bed, and a bathroom. There was also a table.

Much to Lyrica's dismay and Eren's happiness, the bed was of small size. When both of them slept, they may touch each other.

'heheheh nice bed. I like this hotel.' Eren laughed inside while maintaining an expressionless face outside.

Lyrica's face was red in embarrassment. Her mind was a mess. She thought of things that shouldn't be done.

"I will go to the bathroom to freshen up," Lyrica said with much difficulty.

Eren nodded and went to sit in the bed waiting for Lyrica to come.

Inside the bathroom,

Lyrica was in deep thought. She thought of various possibilities. But soon discarded them. This continued for five minutes. After that, she decided to bathe and freshen up.

After a refreshing bath, she exited the bathroom. Now she was wearing a shirt which was skin fit and a pant. Her well-placed curves couldn't be hidden.

'ohhhh! What a hot girl. If I had my previous body, I couldn't wait to fall in love with her.' Eren thought in interest.

After that, he also went to freshen up.

He wanted the shower and exited the bathroom after some time. He only wore his trousers. His upper body was in view. His well-toned body, muscles, etc was fully packed to see.

Lyrica when saw this was dazed. She continued to gaze at him. After she came back to her senses, she quickly shifted her head from him and asked "When did you have such a body?".

Eren just smiled at her question and asked him "How is it?".

"It's awesome. You are a pack. No one would tell no to you…." She suddenly stopped. When she thought back to what she had said, she blushed and fell on the bed keeping her head under the pillow to hide her face.

Eren just smiled.

He too then went to sleep on a bed. But before that, he didn't forget to put on a shirt.

Both their figures could be seen lying close to each other. There was only five centimeters gap between them. One mistake and all was *poof*.

Lyrica's brain was fully working and keeping in check for any unknown dangers. Even after an hour, when nothing happened, she relaxed and fell asleep.

Eren had already decided not to do anything at least now.

The night passed peacefully.
