Milwa was thinking about this as she lay on her large bed, wrapped in blankets without a stitch of clothing on. Next to her, Albe was lying in the same way. He keeps his back to her.
They have been silent ever since. Even after such an intense encounter, he felt no satisfaction. Even after the affair was over, Mirwa had no desire to seek him out further.
Afterwards, the food was brought to the room and they ate together, again in silence.
The food was very good. The food tasted like nothing I had ever tasted in any other restaurant I had traveled to. I was especially surprised that they served the fish raw in this hotel. Mirwa hesitated for a moment, but the maid who was in charge of serving her recommended it with absolute confidence, so she put it in her mouth, and the freshness and the depth of flavor made her enjoy the food with all her heart for the first time in a long time.
All the dishes were delicious, but Albe did not say a single word about them. He did not seem to be taking advantage of her, nor did he seem to be silent, unable to express his dissatisfaction. She no longer had the energy to be angry with him.
Then Milwa went to the bathroom to take a bath. Usually she let Albe wash her, but this day she did not feel like it.
I thought there was only one washbasin in the bathroom, but it was outside the room and there was only one big tub. The tub was filled with hot water without a break. At first Mirwa had no idea what this device was, but there was a signboard standing right next to the vat that told him to enter the vat to warm himself.
I entered the tub. The water was a little hot, but I felt as if my blood was circulating throughout my body. This was also a sensation I had never experienced before.
I had been equipped with a bathtub in the past, but it was only for holding hot water and washing my body, and I had never thought of submerging my entire body in the hot water. If I had done so, the bathroom would have been flooded with water.
However, this hotel had a very nice trick. When she entered the tub, the hot water started to overflow, but it was sucked down to the floor as if it was being sucked into the tub. Upon closer inspection, there was a small gap in the floorboards, through which the hot water was flowing. Perhaps the hot water flowed out through the floor. Milwa was impressed by the rationality of the situation.
The view from inside the bath was magnificent. The sun had set, so she could not see the ocean, but the sky was full of stars, and she lost track of time for a while and gazed at the magnificent sight.
Relaxing, just taking it easy and spending time without thinking about anything. It was the first time for her to spend her time like this. This kind of life is not so bad, she thought honestly.
After killing Soleil, let's go somewhere with a nice view. And we can spend time like this, taking a hot bath and relaxing. No, rather, we don't need to worry about Soleil. We can stay here for a few more days and spend time with good food and hot water. In the meantime, we can think about our next place to live. Milwa even thought about that.
How much time has passed? Feeling thirsty, she finally got out of the bath.
As she reached for a towel in the corner of the room, a glass bottle caught her eye. There was a glass bottle with a glass ready for her. It seemed to be water.
She filled the glass with water and drank it all at once. I could feel the cool water flowing through my burning body. It was very tasty water, she thought. She poured water into the glass again, and stirred it once more.
"Whew!"
I was satisfied. If I went to bed, I would sleep well, I thought. It was safe to say that I had not felt this contented in a very long time.
I open the door to the bathroom, still naked. Then I see Albe sprawled out in the middle of the large bed.
I felt ...... a sense of anger. All the sense of contentment he had felt so far seemed to be lost. Mirwa approached him silently, grabbed him by the hair, and pulled him off the bed.
"Go to the bathroom and wash yourself!
Like a ghost, he slumped down and walked heavily to the bathroom. The very act of doing so struck a nerve with Mirwa. She was tempted to use her spirit to shoot an air cannon at him from behind, but just then, Albe disappeared into the bathroom.
With a sniffle, I lay down on the bed. The bed was warm, probably because Albe had been lying on it a while ago. Soon the blankets are warm and Mirwa's body starts to sweat. She flinches away from the blanket as if to fling it off.
He rolls around on the bed, looking for a place where there is no warmth. When he comes to the edge of the bed, he feels just the right amount of coldness and lies down on his back. But one hand and one leg stick out of the bed. You shrink and curl up there. You feel indescribably cramped.
It's okay. After a while, the hot spot will cool down. Then you can stretch out your arms and legs and sleep.
I tell myself in my mind. Just then the bathroom door opens and Albe comes out. Mirwa looks at him to see what is going on.
As usual, he walks towards the bed with a slow, calm gait, not showing any emotion at all. Then he lay down on the bed and looked up to the sky in the middle of the bed.
I could not believe it. Everything he did was incomprehensible.
Did this man not enjoy that magnificent bathroom? Not five minutes had passed since he had disappeared into the bathroom. Perhaps he did not soak in that tub. He undressed, took a couple of hot baths, washed himself, and left the bathroom immediately.
Mirwa was astonished, as she had thought that they could share the same story about the wonderful bathroom. Moreover, this man was proudly lying on his back in the middle of the bed, trying to sleep. Even though I am curled up on the edge of the bed like this.
Looking back on my past activities, I have never been on the edge of the bed. And yet, this man is in the center of the bed.
I could not ...... allow that.
Mirwa raised his right hand and fired an air cannon at Albe. He was blown up and thrown out of bed before he could raise his voice.
He crouched for a while, then stood up silently and walked to the sofa. He hugged his bag on the sofa and lay down there.
Mirwa moved to the middle of the bed, took a blanket, put it over her stomach, and lay down. I felt indescribable warmth and dampness on my back. To tell the truth, it was uncomfortable.
Mirwa's anger was growing in her stomach, as she was suddenly plunged from a feeling of contentment to a feeling of discomfort. Then, he said in his mind that he would not be able to drink any more if he did not kill Soleil.
......If I kill Soleil, I will leave that man in Agartha.
