Abel took the pancake and ate it, not caring what Anna said to him.
While he was eating, Anna squatted down to look at the dark lines on his face. After so many days, there was no sign of fading at all.
“You should meditate more to recover as soon as possible!” Anna couldn’t help sighing, “I’m not saying that I will drive you away once you recover. At least if the dark lines on your face are gone, you can let Givina know of your existence. Otherwise, you are in a lot of danger like this.”
Abel had just finished eating one pancake. He picked up the second one but didn’t put it into his mouth immediately. Looking at Anna, he said with a strange expression, “When you said danger, did you mean that person just now?”
“You saw him?”
“I took a brief glance,” Abel smiled slyly, “Is he courting you?”
Anna shrugged: “You could say that!”
“Then I advise you to either agree quickly or refuse as soon as possible, this person is very dangerous.” Abel said, and ate the pancakes, in his own world.
Anna’s heart jumped, she didn’t expect Abel’s senses to be so sharp.
That was a demon, okay? How could he not be dangerous?
“Why do you think he is dangerous?” Anna asked curiously.
Abel took a big mouthful of pancake and said vaguely, “Just a feeling!”
“Then your feeling is not at all accurate. He was mentally overdrawn before and is still recovering. He can’t cast spells as powerfully right now.” Anna said deliberately.
Abel chewed on the pancakes, his cheeks bulging like a hamster. Anna’s face was reflected in his pure black pupils, his expression seemed to be a bit mocking: “If you don’t believe me, forget about it.”
He paused, then said, “No, you can’t not believe me until I get better. I think you should reject him sooner rather than later!”
Anna thought, if it were so easy, she wouldn’t have put it off until now.
She patted Abel on the shoulder: “You have to thank me well, if it wasn’t for my wit that made him think I didn’t live here, you would be dead now.”
Abel said indifferently: “Why don’t you just say that I’m your younger brother?”
“I don’t have a younger brother as old as you; he knows me very well.” Anna threatened, “Also, he is hostile to the males that appear around me. If you are discovered by him, you’re good as gone.”
Abel didn’t show any fear when he heard these words. He just looked at Anna and seemed to think for a while before saying, “Do you like him?”
Anna was taken aback, wondering how he came to this conclusion. She looked at him with question marks written all over his face.
After eating the last bite of the pancake, Abel licked his fingers and burped before saying slowly, “He’s so perverted, with the way you speak about him, I don’t think you’re afraid of him at all.”
Was she not afraid?
She was probably just used to it.
Anna suddenly flicked Abel’s forehead and scolded him: “What do children know about love, if you’re finished eating then hurry and wash up, I’m going to tie you up!”
Abel covered his forehead and glared at Anna fiercely, but he didn’t say anything. He got up and went to the bathroom obediently. After a while, his greasy hands were clean , and he obediently let Anna tie him up.
While lying on the meditation mat, Abel asked Anna, “When will you stop tying me up? It’s very tiring to sleep like this at night!”
Anna said: “As long as you live here for one more day, there will never be such a time.”
Abel muttered: “Coward!”
Anna ignored him and went to bed after a little meditation.
Early the next morning, Anna was a little excited at the thought that she could watch Mage Dawkins’ new potion experiment today. After preparing Abel’s food for the day as usual, she happily left for the Mage Association.
The demon and Natalie were both in the library today. After Anna met up with them, she told them that she would go to see Mage Dawkins’ new potion experiment later. She would go right after reading some books in the library for a short while.
As a result, when Anna got up, the demon who hadn’t said anything also got up. When she looked over, he said, “I’ll go take a look too.”
Of course Anna couldn’t stop him, so she waved to Natalie who seemed to want to go but was too embarrassed to say so, and went with the demon to find Mage Dawkins.
Anna couldn’t stop the demon herself, so she gave the decision to Master Dawkins and let him decide whether to let the demon observe as well.
As for Natalie, it was still important to pass the first-star mage examination. It would be best if she did not get involved in her and the demon’s affairs.
On the way to the potion lab, Rothgarr suddenly asked, “Who is that person living in the attic?”
Anna was already prepared for this question. When she heard him ask this question, she deliberately froze before saying, “Oh, I think it’s Givina, my landlord, some grandchild relative of hers. He’s only around ten years old. I haven’t seen him.”
She said it lightly, as if she had absolutely no interest in the person who lived in the attic. Instead, she continued with the topic and said, “Givina’s cooking is delicious. Next time I will bring you some of her snacks.”
In fact, Rothgarr didn’t see the man in the attic clearly, but intuitively he had a feeling of disgust for that man which was why he asked this question. Seeing that Anna didn’t know anything, he didn’t bother to ask any further.
“I have a chef in my house who is good at making snacks. You can come to my house if you would like to try it,” Rothgarr said.
