*Humming*
This feeling… is warmth, almost as that like being hugged by the ones you love. You name it, whether it's your lover, friend, family, or someone who just knows how to put away your condescending thoughts.
*Whoosh*
Alongside the wind, is heard the machinery of humankind's magnificence, that is of technological wonder. It is as if they are planes from the golden era of the 1900s or beyond when the time of advancement calls for human ingenuity.
My ears start to adjust to the sound, and what's baffling is that it sounds like we're up in the sky, and as ridiculous as that comes up in someone's mind, the thing is, there are people here talking Just Fine. `Ngh, my brain aches, is this the aftermath of my long and deep slumber?`. Now, with my ears clearing up whatever's going on inside my head, I can at least make up for what they're saying.
Currently, a couple is chatting with their selves, namely, the guy's named Garvin and the lady's named Fiona from what I hear as of my current hearing capability, as ridiculous as it already is for hearing words foreign to my knowledge.
Garvin:"…ou d… it, Fi… ! Our newb… ch… is now …thus, at …long last". Unfortunately, the best I can do is make up what they're saying on the fly, and fill in the blanks myself. "Wou(ld) you want (to) hold him?"
Now that he mentions it, my body feels kind of nimble, like a living vegetable, I feel almost no muscle of mine moves how I want it to.
`W-what the fuck? I can't move my fingers, God's Sake. Heck's going on?`
And just when I'm in the midst of my mind battle, my body got swayed from left to right, as if my body doesn't weigh over 70 Kigs (Kg, Kilogram)
Fiona:"… So, he rea(lly) is a 'St(ray)', even though I don't believe that first checkup… ". Her voice is a sorrowful one, and it somehow gets to me, as her breath is getting closer. "N-nonetheless, I won't treat him any different from the other children of your other beloveds. Now, what should his name be, Garv?". She stuttered for a bit there, accepting her defeat of me being a failure(?) in this age of time.
With time, my hearing is returning to how I normally perceive it as is, not needing to guess what they're saying any longer despite hearing something that is neither my home language nor the second language of English (almost fluent).
Garvin: "Let me see his eyes first". With his command, I feel the light from outside blinding me, yet I keep still to not damage myself from some fingers trying to open my eyes. "He indeed is 'One of Them', *Sigh*". I feel as if I have a flashlight focused on a pupil of mine, checking whether I can be given a 'Second Wind' ʼ¹ by some medic using a defibrillator.
Stabilizing my pupils, I now see the sight of a brown, Armenian-looking guy, while two nurses(?) are taking notes and communicates to each other behind our backs. Piercing Brown eyes, Anchoring Goatee beard, Fiery Mullet brown hair, and the one that stands out the most is, Ears of a Canine(?) around his head. `… If he's a furry, then I'm a-Oh, No…`
Wearing an attire fit for winter, he's layered in a thick dark blue coat above his white shirt, shackling his hips with a belt before his black cargo pants and winter boots.
Garvin: "Oh? Look at you, lil' bud, staring like there's no tomorrow… *Giggle*". He shakes his head while thinking to himself with some mischievous laughs, grinning across the room. "… Arlan, that is what you would be called, my child". As he said that, he reaches a hand out for his partner, which should be no longer asked, that is my 'Mother', Fiona.
As he now carries me for a walk in the aircraft(?) that we're residing currently, I now guess what kind of fate happened to me.
`… I… Live?…`
