Chapter 8: Chapter 7: Blessing and The Curse

***Away from Kingdom Evergarden***

Rrr...rrr...rrr... the fast-moving sound of the wheels can be heard. A total of 13 carriages are moving in a single row. Each of the six carriages, other than the one in the middle, is drawn by two horses. Four white horses with armor plates pull what appears to be a massive carriage. Six carriages are also pulled at the back by two horses each. Anyone can see that the individual in the middle carriage seems to be very important. An older man with a powerful physique occupies the central carriage. He has red hair and a scar in the shape of an X on his cheek. He is holding a scroll and carefully reading it.

"Ahem, Father, what does it say?" Sitting across from the older man is a young man in his mid-20s with a powerful physique and unusual breathing. He had a worried expression on his entire face.

The older man turned to the young man and said, "It's from your mother." He said, with a smile, "It has to do with your brother." The young man nearly sprung out of his chair. He was even more worried, saying, "What Leo! **Cough**cough** What went wrong with **cough** him? He's fine, right? "

"He is doing fine. Nothing to be concerned about. In fact, he is better than fine. " The young man is perplexed at hearing this and asks, "What do you mean, father?"

Clare's eyes welled up with tears as she heard all of this and gave the young girl a fierce hug. "I'm relieved you're safe. How can you be so careless?" Kisses covered the entire girl's face.

Clare approached Leo after they had both calmed down and thanked him for saving her daughter.

She continued, "I'm also grateful that you returned her to me. I'm not sure what I'd do if something had happened to her."

The beautiful woman stood naked in front of him as if it didn't matter. Leo was doing everything he could to keep his gaze away from her breasts.

Now, the only people left in the house were Leo and Clare. Leo said, "I should leave as well," Leo said, but Clare stopped him.
