Everyday was bliss. Purely happiness.

The moody skies are now gone, only the bright sun that covers the skies shines brimingly.

Waking up in happiness, sleeping with a smile on my face. I feel like I'm the luckiest man in the world.

Remnants of the past me were nowhere to be seen. A past where I'm all alone and carries a thought of only myself, now changed into a life I never imagined I would end up living.

Waking up early in the morning, my heart was filled with excitement as I left my bed. Today, I have a date with my girlfriend! It was also my special day with her today!

Scanning my surrounding, I soon enough stumbled accross the calendar on the walls, and staring at it, an idiotic smile crept up on my face.

August 15, 2014

It was my 3rd anniversary with her! A day different from monthsaries!

And today, I had everything all planned!

"Hehehehehehehe!! TODAAAY!! TODAAAAAAYYYY!!!"

Today is a very special day, more than any other day. Because today!

"I will be proposing to her!!"

Honestly, just the thought of seeing her flustered expression was enough to excite me. But the thing that I love the most is.

"I can finally…. Ask her for marriage. Something I couldn't do all these years!"

I…. I worked real hard.

I saved up all those years, preparing for this day!

A wide smile crept up on my face.

All my dreams would soon come true! Building a family with her, growing old together, watching our children's fall in love! All of those! All of those wouldn't be just a dream anymore!

It was as if I was in a dream. A dream I'd wish to never wake up to.

All those years before I had met her. I lived the life of a bastard. In all honesty, I never showed care to my family, nor even their financial problems. I was trash without a doubt. A trash without any purpose in life.

But being with her. I learned how to eat my pride, lower myself, and learn how to love. I also attained my very first goal in life, that is to marry her someday.

Ever since then, I started to change little by little. I helped out my family after I got a job. Brought my own house and lived with her separately from our parents. Learned to stand by our own.

It was like a dream come true. I never had thought someone like me would ever have purpose in life. Never in my wildest dream.

And today. I am finally sure, the girl I want to spend my whole life, will be her.

Since we share the same house, I told her to leave without me early into our same destination. I also told her today I'd be late for 2 hours.

And now that all the preparation is done, I immediately took a bath and went to the shopping mall.

It was a long trip, but pretty worth it.

In the middle of the scorching sun, I soon enough spotted my dearest love waiting for me on the side.

Her dark hair was flawless, she was like a statue of a goddess. Even the passersby couldn't help but to glance over her direction. Paired with her dark red eyes, her eyes that were the only flaw she had, was arched up in all annoyance as usual.

Soon enough, she noticed me approaching her and switched her gaze over me.

"You're late. You said you'll be here by 2 hours after me! You made me wait 2 and a half hours in front of the mall! Goshh!"

And, this was her. My soon to be wife. Her name is Crystal, Crystal Miford. Although she looks like a mean person from her eyes and tone, she was actually a very kind and loving person. She was like a star that lit my path, her smiles were my savior at my darkest times.

Seeing that she's her usual self, I couldn't help but smile like a man truly deep in love.

Crystal on the contrary narrowed her eyebrows and stared at me with annoyance, "What are you smiling at..? Is there something on my face?"

All of the sudden, a chuckle almost escaped my mouth. Good thing I managed to hold it back before it even came out.

Pfftt

It was really something out of nowhere. Once again, she stared at me like a monkey unaware why am I even laughing. Actually, it's probably most likely she's more of curious now. But not like I'll tell her the cause of it anyways.

"Well, since today you decided to take me out for a date I'll forgive you! Youuuu! I always tell you to never make a girl wait! Don't you know the suffering of waiting! Arrrghh!"

"What do you mean… Did you forget last time we went shopping for clothes, it took you 4 hours just to pick 2 clothes? Now we're even!"

"T- That's! It's because the designs were all bad!"

"Still, I waited for 4 hours! And it took you another 4 hours to finish shopping!"

"Nggnnnnh!!"

Wearing a smug over my face, I slowly reached out my hand over her head and pet her.

"Now, now. Calm down Grandma."

"I- I uh! I'm not a Grandma! Also don't treat me like a child!"

"Yes, yes. I hear you loud and clear!"

"Hmph! You're not even slightly listening."

It may look kind of toxic but for me, this was very warm. Holding a fun conversation with her, something I'd never get tired of.

Realizing that time is running, I soon decided to change the subject before she could add another complaint.

"You must be very hungry after waiting for a very long time! Care to accompany me for lunch, hun!"

"Hmph! You better be the one paying alright!"

And so, it started… The beginning of the bad end.
