Chapter 3: Return

Somewhere in an unknown Lower world, a crack appeared in the void. In the next second, a wisp of gas came out of the crack and started to rush from one place to another. It passed through one city after another, but this gas would stop time above the city for a few seconds before passing it. From the looks of it, this wisp of gas looks very anxious, as if it's searching for something. As it searches for something, it also slowly dissipates.

However, when the wisp of gas was on its last leg, it stopped above a green forest with towering trees, and in the next second, it rushed inside the forest. And upon entering the Forest, a cave became visible. The ball of gas was used inside the cave and stopped in front of a boy whose age Couldn't be more than 9 to 10. He have a black hair and black eyes however, his face is cute. From one glance few people would be able to tell he get this from his mama .  

This boy has many scars and brushes on his face and body. However, If one looks closely, one would be able to hear the sound of the heartbeat. But it's so weak it could stop at any moment. The wisp of gas didn't waste a second as it directly entered the boy's body. In the next second, The boy opened his eyes.

"Dammit ," the boy cursed as he stood up from the ground and punched the cave wall with a bang sound. However, he didn't stop just by doing this once. He kept doing this over and over. Even though his hand started to bleed, he ignored that completely, and even though he was feeling the pain, he completely ignored that as his eyes turned red in rage. 

" I was so close, I was fucking so close to completing my goal,  I was so close to achieving it."

" Those fucking Bastards, I wasted so much time nurturing them, but they betrayed, those fucking Bastards betrayed the hand that fed them, mother fuckers, after doing everything for them, they betrayed me" he cannot describe the rage he is feeling through words.  

" I was in the mistake, I should have placed a slave seal on them. I should have thought something like this could have happened.  " Jin sat down on the bed again as he couldn't help but regret not placing a slave seal on his disciples. Things might have been different if he had done that, and he wouldn't have to regret it now.

Soon after an unknown time, Jin calmed as he took a long breath. " becoming angry doesn't suit me. But why did they betray me ?"

" Humph, I'll surely kill you, ungrateful Bastard, not for some Patty reason like revenge."

 I never forget about love and enmity. I have seen love and enmity both. Even after being good, in this world, people will still treat you with enmity. If someone is not strong, they will be devoured by others, after all, life is a race, and there is no place for those who are soft. Just like me, I had become soft, and I fell. But something like this will never happen. 

"I'll start again from the beginning, I'll have to snatch back everything, and Those stupid disciples of mine, it seems I wasn't harsh enough on them. I would have already died, if I haven't found this body I would have died. My soul also became very weak. I could have gotten a better Vassal , alas I was weakened by the space turbulence, and wasted time searching for a good vassal. Now I cannot use my soul power more then once.  I cannot waste time. With my cultivation technique it shouldn't take much time to reach my previous cultivation," Jin thought as he remembered his past.  

In the past, I wasn't talented enough, nor did I have an extraordinary body like the other geniuses, nor did I have a strong backing. But one day, my life changed. I still remember clearly that time. I was almost 70 that night, sitting under the dark sky and admiring the view. I suddenly saw a meteor falling from the sky. It didn't fall that far from me. Luckily I was fast, and when  I reached where the meteor fell, I saw a dazzling scroll. And Upon touching the scroll, knowledge of a new cultivation technique that I had never seen nor even heard of entered my mind. 

"  Immortal Ascension cultivation technique" was the technique's name, and from that point onward, the fight for supremacy began. 

Upon cultivating this technique, my cultivation soars. I was able to absorb spiritual energy thousands of times faster than before. I also stopped feeling any cultivation shackles, making my journey more smooth. It may sound like nothing much, but it was something extraordinary for me. 

Not only for me, but if anyone else heard something like this, they would have died in shock. Since I didn't face any cultivation shackles, nothing was stopping me. But in the end, I failed, Maybe because I wasn't a chosen one. Well, I have died, so there is no point in discussing the past. Let's focus on the present. 

"But before that," jin closed his eyes as he felt unknown memory start to appear in his mind.

"So, that's how it is" After almost half an hour later, Jin opens his eyes with this thought. From the memory he received, he understood his current situation. 

The owner of this body, Aslan dexton, a member of the dexton family, 

This dexton family is actually located in a city name Loughton. Dexton is one of the big clans in this City. However, Dexton isn't the only clan in this city. A few more clans are as strong as the Dexton clan, like the Zeugas clan, Eyne, and Wark. 

The reason why Aslan is in this place has a long story behind it. And long story short, Aslan's Father, who is also a current candidate for the Patriarch position, doesn't like him much. It's also the same for his mother and others of the clan. And the reason? He is useless. He has no talents for cultivation. So he was sent out from the clan to this remote Forest where direct blood has to stay until they are 10. Obviously, clans provide protection. There are always soldiers. And also, everyone knows who owns this area, and other great clans usually don't attack the young generation because of some kind of agreement.

However, Jin couldn't find any memory of how Aslan came to this place. Or why is there no help arrived here yet? As Jin thinks about all this, a voice reaches his ears from the outside. 

" It's seems he doesn't hold any value to the Dexton, they didn't even sent anyone to rescue this kid, I am really surprised they are just goanna let us go like this"

" I am feeling the same as you. Thought we would earn some big money. I also planned to leave the gang and leave for somewhere to live my life comfortably. 'sigh.' But all my dreams have been shattered."

" Anyway, what are boss goanna do with him now since he is not worth anything."

" Who knows, Maybe hand him over or maybe kill him to spread our name wider. Only leader knows what is in his mind."  

"Man, I told you not to beat him like that. You went overboard. What will we tell the leader if he sees this? 

" You can't just blame me. You are the one who started. First, you are the one who beat him at first."

" Yes, I did, but not like you. Both of us are guilty. If leader says anything we have to support each other."

"What the fuck are you two doing? You two are told to look after the kid" At this moment, a loud shout makes Both of the people outside to shut up Their mouths. A man at the same age as them come out of the woods.

" We were doing what we were told."

" lead the way."

They grabbed their weapon and entered the cave through the small entrance. Even though the cave entrance is small, the Inside is very wide.  

Upon entering, their gaze falls to the other side of the cave, where they notice Jin standing and looking toward them, his tiny hand is swollen blood dripping. Upon meeting their eyes, Both of them stopped for a second. 

" Why is the kid untied !?" asked 3rd person. 

" Well, he was unconscious. Felt there no it for it."   

" Fine, go, take care of the kid." 

" Take care of the kid? What do you mean? Don't tell me we are going to" a frown appeared on Both of their faces.

" It's leader's order, go don't waste time, since we couldn't make money, we should be able to make a name," said the 3rd person.
