Chapter 1: Chapter 1

After the class has ended, the usual scenario of my life has repeated itself.

Going to my part time, buying groceries, and now with my usual routine.

Leisurely taking my time walking down the streets, heading home.

Like any other day, it was a plain day I've always experienced. Though it was pretty tough, I somehow already got used to it.

Glancing over left and right, making sure there weren't any cars on the road.  Before I knew it, I ended up at the park I used to play on my way home.

The park itself was as lively as back then. Even now, there were kids playing on the playgrounds, with, of course… Their families.

"Sigh…"

Something I wished I've ever had.

Even though I'm so old now. I wonder why I still seek how it feels to have a family.

Perhaps because I never experienced having one but, it must have been nice to be like them.

"Groan… Enough with this bullshit of mine, I still gotta cook dinner."

Waking myself up into reality, I looked away from them and fixed my eyes into my goals.

 

AAAAAAAAARHHHN!!

However, as soon as I took a step forward, a bone chilling shriek entered my ears.

Not just from one direction, but from all over.

I was bewildered!

From instinct, I unconsciously shifted my gaze upon the sky. And seen, something so mystical…

Something I would only imagine happening in a novel.

The sky has turned dark. Gloomier than it seems at nighttime. And over it, were shining giant crystal gates with a bloody hue all over the skies.

From those giant gates…

Something I only imagined would come out from novels are… Coming out!

Creatures that I've never seen before are falling all over from the sky!

KAABOOOOMMM!!

Monsters I don't even recognize but somehow know start shooting down into the land and exploding with a blast of green blood that unfolds before my eyes.

Those monsters, have pointy ears and giant bodies, including their green textures, honestly looks like how I imagine an orcs from games would look like in real life!

No!! I mean, those are real orcs!!

Before they could even breathe the air of the new world they come into, their body explodes upon the pressure of the fall, dying in the process.

My legs fell over me, and soon enough, I started shaking…

If this was a dream, please wake me up!

Screams and shrieks in agony sounded all over the place.

I gathered my determination, and immediately shifted my gaze upon the childs who were peacefully playing in the park earlier…

Only to see a bloodbath… A murder…. A one sided massacre.

Those childs who were peacefully playing with their parents earlier are now all over the place. Their insides everywhere, and their bodies somehow unrecognizable anymore.

And at the sight of that, I lost all the hope to escape. I know my death is near.

And with a large boom!

A large green creature successfully landed without dying and set its eyes on me. As if they had some intelligence, when it realized that I was just waiting for my death at this point, it slowly took its time to walk up to me, soon enough arriving before me.

The orc gave me a last parting gift, it smiled at me like an addict and prepared its mace for a big swing.

However, before it even hit me, all of the sudden, a gate appeared beside me and sucked me inside.

With my conscious fading, I slowly reached out my hands into the void.
