The troop employed by the Fierce Lion, was to move in six carriages, and stop about 100 meters from where the orphanage was located. So, to not alarm the enemy too much, and still have the element of surprise.

The same was to happen with the troop led by Nero Ankston. Only, they were to infiltrate the orphanage from the back. They were going to get inside from the backyard, kill everyone, and enter the building to make sure the kids inside were safe.

As well as kill the guards, or "Adventurers", as Robert, the man in normal clothes, liked to call them. Matthew was to go with them, as well as Asvin. Who wanted to be there when the "Used" children were saved.

He also thought the captain of this small group of members from the Grey Dogs gang, would probably be inside, and, with the help of Gleeward, and Nero Ankston, there was no chance for that man to escape this.

And so, the carriages, with both the sigil of the Lion, as well as the Wolf, were strolling through the streets of Coupitia city at night, without anyone knowing about it.

It didn't take them much time to reach their destination. 5 guards from the Cavias family, were left beside the carriages to protect them. The same was with the carriages of the Ankston family, which were parked in another street, only, it was just three guards left.

Nero was with his son at the moment, he was still trying to convince him that he should stay here and wait, but the nine-year-old wasn't hearing it, not in the slightest. Gleeward intervened between the two, trying to resolve this as soon as possible. After all, they had a mission to do. He said, "Let the boy come, he's strong enough!".

Matthew nodded, and his father remembered what the Chief of Guards had told him that day. "Even though the man was stronger than him, and Matthew was scared... And, to be honest, if someone didn't come to his rescue, he would probably have died. He still fought bravely, and protected the kid beside him!".

"He used many spells, one after the other, normal guards wouldn't have a chance against him. That man was stronger than normal guards! But still, he was driven to a corner a little, while fighting with a nine-year-old!".

"I am telling you, this son of yours, he's a genius, and since he's being taught by that guy, he will no doubt become a strong Magician in the future, just like he likes to say, he will become, The Red Sorcerer!".

Nero sighed, and nodded to his son, he then turned to look at his guards, "Are you ready? We're to act first, Ranson, go and alarm the Cavias family that we have started!".

Ranson nodded, and started making his way to the other street, as discreetly as possible. With that, Nero turned to look at his guards again, and said, "Let's go!".

In the next second, 10 people could be seen making their way to a wall, a huge fence that protected the orphanage from intruders at night. Since this wasn't a normal fence, but a magical one, like the Ankston family's was, they couldn't just go through it.

Gleeward had brought with him a round, yellow ball, which he banged the fence with. In the next second, the spell cast on the fence was deactivated, and Nero made the guards float to the other side of the wall.

Matthew could only look at his father in shock, after all, he could barely make himself float, with the spell Levitating, but his father just made six people float like it was nothing.

Asvin and Gleeward declined the offer, and instead, jumped high, and landed on the other side. They had jumped more than three meters high into the air, something that was quite impressive for none magic users.

Matthew was asked by his father if he needed help, but the nine-year-old said that he could take care of it, and so he did. With that, everyone was on the other side of the wall.

Since it was night, and dark at the moment, no one could really see, and a source of light would only attract trouble in this kind of situation. As such, the whole team wore some special goggles, made with magic. These, were made to allow sight in dark places, such as this one.

The group continued forward. There was no one at the back, the reason, they continued, until they reached the door, that leads from the backyard to the inside of the building. Opening a locked door was quite easy, especially when it wasn't a magical one, just like the one used in the orphanage.

Entering from this door, proved to be a none challenging thing. The group of ten continued inside the building, where there was only silence, after all, it was night at the moment, and pretty much everyone was asleep.

Matthew said to his father, "Let me and big bro Vin go to my friends, while you help the Cavias family like the plan you made said!". Nero was a bit hesitant to follow this, but, Gleeward said, "I know Asvin, he can do it!".

Matthew added, "He was also the one to save my life during the Black Fire incident!". While they were speaking, Asvin didn't make any silly comment like he was used to doing, he was very serious at the moment, and was waiting for the order from Nero.

His father, the Fierce Lion, had told him to obey Nero's orders while in this mission. Nero sighed dejectedly again, and replied, "Okay, but, you better return alive, the both of you are heirs to our two families!".

Matthew and Asvin both nodded, and then, Asvin started following the nine-year-old, as he was being guided to where the children rooms were.

As for Nero, he looked to his Chief of Guards, as he asked, "Now, what should we do? We are supposed to destroy the enemy from the inside, so, who should we go after first?".

Gleeward smiled, and replied, "The head of the group, the person with a large scar I told you about. He should be in some room around here, or, at the head of the orphanage office, let's split with five to four, take four guards with you, and explore the chambers, while I will take three and explore the office!".

Nero couldn't argue about the amount of guards, after all, he needed to be protected, even though he was quite able to destroy the four guards with him with ease.

The group separated into two smaller groups, and they headed as advised by the Chief of Guards, Gleeward.

At the same time, Matthew and Asvin had already made their way to Tom's room. The nine-year-old trusted this 14-year-old the most, and wanted to know what happened until now.

After he opened the door, and went inside, he said quietly to the boy there, "Tom, wake up!". There was another boy from the group that always followed Max with them inside the room. He, too, woke up after hearing people talking.

Tom, opened his eyes, he was greeted by the sight of Matthew. Before he could react in a normal way, he found that his scream of fear didn't erupt. That was because Asvin's hand was on his mouth. Matthew asked in a quiet voice, "Don't make any noise, okay? Please release him, Vin!".

Asvin did so, and let the boy recover his breath normally, before he heard the nine-year-old ask him again, "So, what happened to Max, and the other kids taken this morning, have they been returned yet, or not?".

Tom could only look at Matthew in silence, as some tears started flowing from his eyes. This only served to make the young boy, as well as the young man feel their chests tighten more, they both knew that something bad had happened.

Tom finally opened his mouth to speak, the other boy was also crying in a low voice as he heard what Tom had to say, "All the kids have been returned!". At that, Matthew didn't understand why the boy was crying, until he heard Asvin's cold voice from behind him say, "Except Max!".

'What? What does that mean, why wouldn't they? No, she can't be dead, can she, now?', thought Matthew, as he looked at Tom, and asked, "So, what happened to her? Why is she not back yet?".

Tom could only cry, the other boy was the one who answered, "R... Robert told us, that she was adopted by a noble man! But, we all know that's not really true, it's more that she was abducted by a noble, Matt, you have to save her, please!".

Matthew turned to look at Asvin beside him, as his expression turned dark. He said, "You're not going to stop me again, are you, big bro Vin?". Asvin touched his red sword, and said, "Let us go have a small chat with Robert!".

Matthew smiled and nodded. He then, turned and hugged the two boys, as he promised to rescue Max. With that, the young boy, and the young man, exited the room, and went to another room, not too far from the one they were in.
