Asvin, and even Theresia, were a little shocked to see their father laugh like this, and this was with him being challenged by a small kid. 'When was the last time such a thing happened? He hasn't even laughed with Rosin!! Then, why is he laughing right now?', thought Asvin, as he was quite confused by this.
The Fierce Lion, John Cavias, smiled once more, and his gaze moved. This time, it fell on the Manos little sisters. The two little girls held on to Matthew's shirt, as they shrank back in fear, of the intense, and cold gaze, the Fierce Lion was giving them at the moment.
"Hmm! So you too are also survivors, han? Good! Very good, you are very strong to have survived such a calamity, wait, are you understanding what I am saying?", asked the Fierce Lion, as he saw the youngest, Sonia's eyes cloud in confusion at him.
Terria, the eldest of the two, nodded, but didn't say anything, since she felt scared by this man, though she also thought that he seemed to be a little nice. It seemed like his gentle smile was slowly ensuring the two little girls, that there was no reason to feel scared at the moment.
The Fierce Lion continued smiling, as he said, "Anyway, I will be taking you in! You two, from now on, you will be known as Cavias! You will be protected, fed, and treated as if you were a true child of mine, also, you have an older sister, she's called Rosin, she doesn't have any friends, so I hope you can play with her!".
The Fierce Lion, then turned to look at his only son, Asvin, and he said to him, "Introduce yourself, idiot!". In the next second, his gaze fell on his eldest daughter, Theresia, he said to her, "You as well!".
With that, Asvin smiled again, and said to the two little girls in front of him, "Ahm! I will be your big brother, call me Asvin, though I wouldn't mind it if you manage to shorten my name, and call me by that instead!". He thought to himself at the same time, 'Rosin just calls me by my name, please you two, come up with something cute, or cool!'.
He then continued, "And, if anything happens, and someone tries to bully you, come to me, I will protect you, just like... Yes... Ahm, and that's it!", he continued smiling, trying to ignore his father's, and eldest sister's angry gazes.
Now, it was time for the beautiful young lady, Theresia Cavias, to introduce herself to them, for the second time. She was wearing a white dress, and had blonde hair covering her head.
She smiled a warm smile at them, which made the two little Manos girls feel way more comfortable being here. She then said, "As I already told you, my name is Theresia, though feel free to call me big sis, please do, that little ungrateful Rosin doesn't let me do her hair, or even play with her, so... Amm... can I become your friend?", asked the young lady, with puppy eyes.
The Fierce Lion's expression darkened, as he thought to himself, 'I seem to have failed as a father!'. Terria nodded, and said, "Okay! Let's be the best of friends! Big sis!", followed by Sonia saying, "Amm, but, we... we can, also be friends with, umm, Rosin, right?".
Theresia looked at the two for a second. She, then, immediately jumped at them, and hugged them, while screaming, "Ohhh! So cute!". After she calmed down a little, she said, "Of course you can, my sweet little Sonia!".
Matthew's expression was one of weirdness, he didn't know what to think, at this strange sight, 'Hah! Even I act more adult than her!'. He then smiled at himself for being more adult, than an actual adult.
The same was true for Asvin, as he looked at his older sister, 'Hah! She really hasn't matured, han? And now, with these little two, allowing her to have an actual cute little sister, instead of that ungrateful Rosin, well, I guess she will regress into a full child again!'.
As for the Fierce Lion, he could only watch in terror the monster he had created. He thought to himself, 'Did I dote on her too much? No, it's Rania's fault! She was the one to always do the same thing, at everything cute little Theresia did at the time, oof! It's good that I was stern with Asvin and Rosin then!'.
After all that excitement died down, the Fierce Lion looked at Matthew, as he sighed, and said, "You're sure you want to become a Magician?". Matthew looked at him, then his gaze fell on the Manos sisters, 'Should I... just stay? Even if it means not becoming a Mage? No! I will become the Red Sorcerer, that was what my last talk with d... Dad, was about!'.
As Matthew made up his mind again, he lifted his head, and looked at the Fierce Lion with a sharp gaze. He said, "Yes! It's okay, you don't have to worry about me, please take care of these two!".
That was all Matthew said. The Fierce Lion looked at him for a moment, then sighed and shook his head, 'He can even speak like a nine, or even a ten year old, and he's supposedly only seven! Hah! Oh well, it's truly a loss, but I can't stand in his way! I truly, do wish you the best in your journey, and may you become a great Magician!'.

The Fierce Lion turned, and with his back to Matthew, he spoke, while making his way toward the door, "Okay then! Asvin, take him later to the Orphanage, for now, let him stay and eat lunch with us!".
Asvin sighed, as he heard his father's command, and replied, "Yes, father!". It was the same for Theresia's expression, which darkened. She kept looking at Matthew for a while.
Terria looked at the young boy beside her, and asked him, "So, you won't be staying with us, Matt?". She seemed quite sadned by this, she even wanted to say something else, before she heard her little sister, Sonia, say, "T...then, we won't stay here too, we will go with you!".
It seemed like the little girl had made up her mind, the same was true for her older sister, which added, "Yeah! I also want to stay with you, Matt! Please, don't leave without us!".
Terria seemed a bit scared to be left alone, since Matthew, and her little sister, Sonia, were the only people left whom she could call "Family"! Yes, Matthew isn't her blood related family, but their two families knew each other quite well.
They had dined, and slept at each other's homes. Matthew had also protected the two little girls from some bullies during their time inside Ronia village. And so, he was more like an older brother to the both of them, than just a normal friend.
So, after the two of them lost their parents, and every other person they knew, there was only Matthew left. It came to reason, that, they would want to stay together with him, even if it meant they wouldn't stay with the nice big sis, and mister Asvin.
Matthew furrowed his brows as he looked at the two, 'Hah! I also don't want to get away from you two, I don't have anyone left, still, Mister Asvin said that the orphanage I am going to is filled with bullies! And I fear, I won't be able to protect the both of them well'.
'Also, I would prefer it if they stayed at a noble's house, more than going to a rundown orphanage with me!'.
"Hmm! Don't fear, you will be staying with us for the most part, but you can still visit little Matthew here anytime you want! Well, maybe about once a week or so! So, see, you won't be left alone, Matthew will be in the same city as us! I also think he wants you two to stay here, right?", said Theresia, Asvin's older sister, as she looked at Matthew.
Matthew smiled, looked at the two little girls beside him, and said, "Yes! That true, big sis Sya! I think it would be better if you two stayed here, you should train to use swords, and I will train to be a Magician, then we can have some cool fights sometime in the future, but, go easy on me, okay?".
His sadness was "Gone", for the moment. He smiled at the two little girls beside him, and tried his best to convince them to stay here, 'Ahh! If only the Fierce Lion was fine with me being a Magician! It would have been amazing for me to stay with them, and, well... stay at a noble's house!'.
'Hah! I would even be considered a noble, but... I do want to become, well, the Red Sorcerer! Just as I promised dad and mom, I would do'.
'Also, since I want to take revenge on the Dark Crow, and his Black Tower, being anything but a Mage, will make it very difficult to do so!', thought Matthew, as he sighed under his breath.
The two girls seemed unsure of what to do, they wanted to stay with Matthew, but, they also figured out that staying here would be a way better option. So, Matthew, Asvin, and Theresia, had to wait for them to make their decision.
At the same time, Theresia jumped at Matthew, and kept hugging him, over, and over again, as she said with a happy smile, "You called me Sya! Ahh! You just gave me a cute name!".
Matthew didn't know how to react, he just kept still as the young lady kept hugging him.
